Chapter 24. Feeling Warmth Through The Coldness

Advik's heart thumped as if someone hammered it ruthlessly. Only one word came to his mind after seeing the injured man:

"...Shwet…"

But he immediately put that thought far away from himself.

The injured person was leaning against the boulder. Most of his wounds and scratches looked like some kind of beast's fangs and claws tried to rip off his skin. His clothes turned vermillion due to the blood on him; disheveled hair, unstable and low breathing, his closed eyes made the sight of him even more miserable and worse.

Advik frowned and squatted down against him. His eyes were glued on the person ahead of him who was unconscious. Advik calmly asked, knitting his brows even more, "Are you alright?" with a slightly trembling hand he touched the pale forehead of the person, it wa cold.
