Chapter 28. The Never-Ending Chaos

Those enormous gloomy shades of gray covered their heads and the sun. The breeze became violent; fluttering their clothes wildly when the corpse-puppet suddenly bashed toward Advik.

The soul saw the corpse-puppet coming at him. With his hands, Advik clenched Samay even more firmly when he sensed the demonic and resenting energy swirling around them. He shot a look filled with contempt at the fake Svapn. Wielding the magnificent sword of Samay he blocked the corpse puppet's sword just in time.

The fake Svapn again sent an aggressive strike at him but Advik pulled himself aside with Samay remaining under his arm. Advik whispered with caution, "Samay, stay close."

In all haste, the fake Svapn threw one after other strikes at Advik. His sword came straight at Advik's face which nearly shoved its tip at his face but Advik turned his neck reflexively; the soul saw his own blue eyes gleaming in the reflection on the silver blade of his opponent's sword when it passed him.
