Chapter 30. The Chief Minister

The person with a black cover and lion-like eyes was still on a branch of a tree-- observing Samay and the corpse-puppet with great care. Although it was unclear what was in his mind; he never took his eyes away from Samay.

Somehow the gray and gloomy weather made Samay raise his guards even higher than before. He was ready with everything he got to defend himself but the corpse-puppet who resembled Sidharth was still not moving.

What is happening?

Samay wondered, his tensed face was a little scared and alarmed about his surroundings. His all focus was on the enemy ahead. Suddenly, he remembered that a while ago he found that the ancient life-protection spell was cast upon him by an unknown person.

He had no time to waste contemplating who was the one who put the spell upon him. He could only thank his luck and the caster for it. His eyes examined the puppet again when he saw the puppet seemed to be struggling with something.
