Chapter 37. He Must Have Been A Fool

With steady steps and a grim face, Amrit walked in the thick forest while trying his best to control his emotions. Night light sprinkled over him from the leafy canopy. He was quiet, even his footsteps couldn't be heard no matter how closely one tried to hear them. His feet fastened when he thought that Advik was near. After some time passed but he still couldn't get where Advik was, it made him frown.

It was a little strange. Even after walking and running for almost half an hour his eyes still couldn't see even the shadow of Advik. He paused and asked in a plain tone, "How long does Ghost Lord plan to stalk me and make me run in circles?"

His intuition was right, he was unknowingly and foolishly running in the same place because the Ghost Lord put some kind of trick or spell on him to become confused about the directions. Hence, he could not see Advik.
