Chapter 64. Leaving The Village

The soft light found its way through the ajar window's panel and fell on Advik. He didn't know when he drifted off when he was just taking a peek outside the window while sitting on the chair.

He frowned slightly as the sun rays teased him. Finally after seeing only bright red with closed eyes, he opened his eyes slowly.

World seemed peaceful as the sounds of birds, insects, and forest resounded like a lullaby.

"It's bright now," he said and yawned. He turned his neck and saw everyone was up and doing something. "You all are up already?"

His words attracted everyone's attention.

"Yes, a while ago," Amrit smiled. He was sitting on the bed with straight back and crossed legs. He had a majestic looking sword in his hand; he was cleaning it with a white cloth. "You were deep in sleep so we thought to let you sleep until Shwet returns, son."

Advik heard that and swept a glance, Shwet was not there. "Where has he gone to?"
