Chapter 78. The Mute Woman

Advik opened his eyes, the darkness and the soft moonlit made it a little hard for him to focus for a moment. Eventually he stabilized himself as his eyesight traced the giant tree from its roots to the top. Many stuffed dolls made of clothes were hanging on every branch of it which made Advik ponder staring at it.

'So many stuffed dolls…' he scowled.

"Advik," called Shwet, his voice subtly trembling but his face was nonchalant as he looked at the confused man beside him. "Are you alright?"

Advik looked at His Highness's downcasted eyes, "I am… fine." Even without any confirmation he could tell the demonic tree was the one forcing him and His Highness to come over here. "Is His Highness well?"

"Yes." Shwet nodded in acknowledgement before his raging gaze turned toward the giant tree in front of them. "I demand an explanation, demon." His sword swished - cutting the air as he wielded it at the tree.

"Pfft…"
