Chapter 2

A few shots later and my head was spinning and beating at the same time. I rested my head on the table in front of me feeling tipsy as hell. I wasn't actually drunk because I was aware of what's going on however I felt light as hell. Is that the same as being drunk? I didn't even know. From where I sat I had a clear view of Tiana and Asher who danced wildly on the dance floor with the rest of the students, they've been dancing for about 30 minutes now. I rolled my eyes and cringed as I saw them kissing. I checked the time on my wrist watch. 11:30pm. Damn. I sat up with a sigh thinking of how much I needed some water to drink.

"Hey there sexy" a tall brown haired guy walked up to me.

I frowned and squinted my eyes to get a better look at his face. Damn I couldn't even make out his features properly due to this headache.

"Are you KFC?" He came closer and asked.

"What?" What the heck was he talking about? Am I hearing thing because I'm tipsy?

"Cause you are finger licking good"

It took me a minute but then I realized what was happening which caused me to burst in fits of laughter.

"That's the dumbest pick up line ever"

"It made you laugh though. Are you Burger King?...cause I wanna have you my way"

I cringed and scrunched my face.

"Um no thank you bye" I got up, picked up my bag and walked out of the large room where everyone was having the time of their lives.

Where's that damn bathroom?

My ankles are killing me, my head is spinning and I felt like puking. I've been walking for about 5 minutes now and I really need to pee. If I don't find the bathroom soon I might just piss on the ground. I looked around me not knowing where I am. Damn my head, I sighed as I held my forehead. I groaned loudly deciding to ring Tianas' phone. I tried about three times with no luck and then realized my phone was dying. Damn. Tiana and Asher really are enjoying themselves.

Someone grabbed my arm, jerking me backwards into a hard chest.

"What the-" I looked back to see it's the same brown haired guy from before.

"Let go damn it" I cursed him as I struggled to pull myself from him.

"Aw baby don't be like that. I just wanna spend some time with you. Why you acting up?"

"I'm not interested, let go. Let go!"

He dragged me by my waist from behind and around a corner.

I used my head and slammed it in his forehead. He groaned in pain and released me. I took off running as fast as I could in my heels and skin tight mermaid tail dress, only to twist my ankle landing on my belly. Damn these heels.

He grabbed my ankle, pulling me a bit making me scream. He straddled my lower back and grasped my neck as I struggle furiously.

"Now now girly, keep struggling and I'll have to-"

Before he could finish talking, his weight disappeared from off my back.

"Who the hell are you?" The brown haired boy questioned.

I turned around on my back to see another guy standing over the brown haired boy who was sprawled on the floor.

Without hesitation the guy standing land a solid kick to his face knocking him out cold. The new guy stood straight fixing his tuxedo for a minute before turning to face me.

I struggled to crawl away for him breathing heavily as he approached me. He bent down, looking at me for a minute. Due to our position, the bright lights which were located behind him at the hotel made it impossible for me to see his face however he had a clear view of mine. All I could make out was his black hair.

"Are you okay?" I looked at him cautiously, my head still pounding like crazy.

"Obviously I'm just trying to help you out here. Now you can either allow me to do so or I can leave you be. Your choice..."

"Uh um...I- my my uh" he sighed loudly as I mumbled. Damn it, why won't I talk? I don't know what's going on but I feel nervous as hell. I definitely don't feel scared just nervous.

"Your ankle hurts?"

He glanced at my hand that held my right ankle and I nodded slowly.

He sighed before gently lifting me in his arms.

"Hey! No what are you doing?! It's okay I'll walk" I protested, feeling slightly lightheaded.

"Be quiet little girl"

I immediately shut up as he made sure I wouldn't fall from his arms and walked off to who knows where.

I opened my eyes only to be met with darkness. I tried to move realizing I was covered with a blanket. Am I in a bed? This definitely isn't my bed. Mine is much smaller.

"Tiana?" I called out weakly, afterwards I heard some shuffling around before the lights came on. The brightness caused me to shut my eyes before slowly opening them again.

"Sorry about that, I'll dim the lights" a voice spoke.

As the lights dimmed I looked to see a black haired guy, my eyes searched my surroundings carefully. Okay this definitely isn't my room.

"Where am I?" I asked him with a coarse voice.

"At the hotel" I looked at him, he's the same guy who helped back there, I assumed. "You passed out and your phone is dead so I couldn't call anyone for you"

"What time is it?"

"12am"

"Damn I need to get home"

I tried crawling out of the bed but my head started pounding as I hung my feet off the bed where I sat. I closed my eyes and held my head.

"You should rest a bit, you're in no condition to go home right now. Stay here for the night and go home at sunrise. I'm sure your parents will understand. Here" he stood over me with a glass of what looked like water. I looked at him suspiciously and he rolled his eyes before taking a sip of it.

I took it from him and drank. When he sat beside me I got a chance to really look at him.

Black hair, blue eyes, a straight nose, perfectly arched eye brow and pink plump lips. Wow. I could feel his body heat radiating from him. That's so...manly. Ugh damn what's wrong with me?

~thud thud thud~

What's going on?

~thud thud thud~

My heart...

~thud thud thud~

...is pounding.

How can such a beautiful man exist? He's so beautiful, I could feel my cheeks and ears heat up. I wonder if he's from our neighboring school. That's the only explanation, if he was from my school I would've noticed.

"Hey are you listening-"

Before he could finish his sentence, with every ounce of courage in my body, I kissed him.
