Chapter 3

Fifteen minutes later we arrived at the Shopping Center and I feel that Ryan is acting weird, no matter how much he try to hide, something happens to him, and to be able to talk alone with him i decided to invite home after the end of the shopping.

I take advantage of Jess getting into a dresser to put on a nice dress, to have a little more privacy.

-Hey Ryan.-i say to have his attention.

-Yes, little.- he answers me with a smile but doesn't reach his eyes, and that is when i confirm that he is not well.

-Do you want to go to my house after finishing the shopping?- I ask him giving a look of supplication.

Like u supossed he knew I want to talk with him, so before he could say something or invent an excuse I told him.

-My mom told me to invite you to eat, today it's her day of rest on her work and you know that she loves you.-I'm good lying.

He turn his eyes and smile.

-Of course Hanna, we will after finishing the purchases.- he responds and gives me a half smile.

We went into my favorite clothes store and after I tried a thousand things I decided on three kinds of outfits.

After i pay everything we go out with the shopping bags in our hands and search the car in the parking.

Once we arrived at Jessica's house she gets off the car and says goodbye.

-Goodbye, guys.-says and gives us a kiss on the cheek to each one. I want her to finally go and close the door of the car. We wait for her to get into her house and when we see her do it we leave.

Once we stayed alone in the i tell him.

-I wanna talk with you, o do you think I invite you only to eat,Ryan.- I take both off my eyebrows up.

-Umm anyways.-says annoying and it's very obvious that I know something happens to him.

-You'll have to wait to get home.

-Well.

I know that Hanna suspects that something happens to me, maybe I can pretend in front of Jessi but Hanna is my best friend and she knows me better than anyone else.

Thats why when she said if we could go home, I knew she wanted to talk.

I look around and watch through the window seeing the cars pass, and that's when I get lost in my thoughts remembering this morning.

-Flashback-

After I finish the class, I go out of the classroom and tell the girls to get ahead of breakfast, because I'll go with my friends.

I'm leaving, not without telling Hanna that I'll meet in the next classes.

I am with my friends talking about girls (their favorite topic of conversation) when suddenly my cell phone starts ringing and I get away from the boys to attend the call.

-Alo?-i respond without knowing who's calling because is an unknown number.

-Yes,hello.Are you Ryan Stocking?-asks me a voice from a woman and I don't recognize it.

-Yes, he's talking.-I respond waiting for her to tell me who she is.

- Her mother just got serious and we just brought her to the hospital, she asked to call you.-A chill get through my body.

I ask her for the name of the hospital she is, and I go there so fast in my car.

I want to warn Hanna about this but I don't want to worry about it, we said that we are going to shopping and i'll be there but first I need to know how my mother is.

I arrive at the hospital and the smell of medicine invades my nostrils, it gives me a slight dizziness but it continue my way to arrive the doctor.

-Hi, they were just bring my mother here, his name is Juliet. Do you know somenthing? - k ask nervous that question- Can i see her?

-His mother arrived seriously at the hospital, but we've already stabilized her, today we can let her go but before she left we need to do some studies to know for sure what happens to her.-i gulp when i hear those words. If something happens to Mom i'll die.

-Go for your mother to her room and then come here to do her studies and you can leave.

After I finished talking to the doctor, I go to the room where my mother is.

I'm about to go in but a chill runs through my skin, I ignore it and open the door.

I see her lying on the stretcher, I get close and i kiss her in forehead.

-Hello, darling, I'm sorry to make you miss classes.-says and she have a sad look.

-Don't worry, Mom, you know you're the most important thing for me.-I tell at the same time i take her hand.

-I love you son.

-I know mom.-I say it in a funny mood.

-And i love you too.-But this time i gave her a pure smile.-Now stand up we gotta go with the doctor to do your studies.

I take her hand and help to get up. I still feel worried and I can't ignore that feeling, i need to know what the results will be, I need to know what does mom have.

-End of the Flashback-

Now I know Hanna's worried, we're in her room and she's waiting for me to tell her what's happening to me.

-Well, you have to tell me right now what'a happening.-tells me Hanna with a worried look.

-Hanna...-And i start to tell her what happened.

When i finished telling Hanna she's just worried as me. The medical studies that my mother got, we'll pick them up until Sunday and im die for know her medical condition.

-Hey Ryan-Hanna takes me out of my thoughts.-I was telling you that if you don't have to take care of your mother.

-Oh no, I told her that i come with you and she call my aunt. She took her home to take care of her she will return in the morning, so there is no one in my house.

-Then we'll see a movie to distract your mind for a while. Yes? Please?-She tell me with those lovely supplicating eyes.

-Yes, Princess.-I tell her at the same time i give her a strong hug.

-Hey! If you don't want problems, let me breath, boy.-Says and turns around while she blink an eye.-I'll go to prepare the popcorn, look for the film.-She goes and closes the door of his room leaving me thoughtful.
