Books and Blue eyes

At the end of  lesson periods the principal announces how proud he is of us- the students , grades.

I usually read books but this time I think it's best I bring my book back after it's long overdue.

Bags are not allowed in the library due to the possibility of theft. I always find the thought of that confusing.

Why would you steal someone's bag?!

I drop off my bag at the front where the security watched them. I then make my way to the Fictional part of the library where there were famous books like 'Pride and Prejudice' .

Without thinking, I flipped the bracelet on my wrist  while I search the shelves for a interesting book, I finally found it.

With the book in my hand I wonder around the rows of novels and Fantasy;until a certain blue pair of eyes spied .

I quickly turn my head away and choose the book, this process continues until I have over five books overflowing in my arms.

Tons of people shamelessly judge books by it's covers .Sad confessions: I do too.

Don't get me wrong but a lot of books doesn't turn out as appealing as the cover, guilty.

I almost forgot, I didn't get a poetry book.

I head over to the poetry section and pull a book from the shelf. A blue pair of eyes blinks at me again from the other side of the shelf .I quickly put the book back .

I turn around and bump into the well defined chest and his pretty blue eyes.

Before I know it my books were on the floor, due to the unexpected fright he caused me.

I bend uncomfortably to try and pick up the collection of  books scattered unevenly on the floor, as my knees touch the ground.Unfortunately he bends too, squatting his knees at ease.

When I look up I met an uneasy view of his eyes and lips that melted my heart;his eyes seemed to connect unerringly with mine.

"Are you lost, baby girl?"pretty sure he heard that from a movie

I ignore him as he follows me, I want to bite off his nipple and spit it at him.

I walk to a table and sat with a book open.

He stood and leans against the shelf,He faces me with a mischievous smile and his hands across his chest.

He smiles at me and walks away with a wink.

I watch him as he walks out the door.I then pack my books in my bag and placed my black hoodie on.

Who am I hiding from? The librarian of course

I put my bag strap over my shoulder and place the hood over my head; hoping that Mr Jefferson won't recognize me.

"Hey!  You in the Black hoodie"

I stopped and begin to slowly remove the hood from my head.

"Hailey, your book is long overdue."I hand my book to him and smile.

"I'm afraid you're taking over the borrowing limit, young lady.I think I'll let it pass" he winks , I nod politely at him.

He scans my books with his eyes portraying avid interest.

"Nice choice of books"l try my best to scoop up the huge pile, and finally succeeded.

"Here, let me try"a deep voice says behind me.I let out out a small groan and  all the unfortunate books fell to my inadvertent victim.

"I-I'm sorry"I say,I avert my glance from his eyes, which seems to capture my attention a bit too much to my liking.

I was confused,Is he following me now?

He walks outside, and to make it less awkward I waited a minute before I went out.

After a minute of waiting I head outside and heard him talking to someone with a lowly pitched voice which seemed happy.

"I know right, I think I like her but she's off limits .

Okay I'll see ya."

Who was he talking about? I quickly walk away to conceal the fact that I was ease-dropping.

Have you ever heard of the saying books before boys?
