"Gu Jin is cooking."
The old man walked toward the kitchen as he spoke.
In the kitchen, Gu Jin had cut the wild boar's head into small pieces and put them all in another large pot before she poured in the broth from the first cooking pot.
There were over twenty pounds of meat from the wild boar's head in the pot.
"What is that nice-smelling dish you've cooked, Gu Jin?"
Chen Hong walked past her daughter at the doorway and entered the kitchen.
Gu Jin looked back at her aunt and stepped aside. "Stewed wild boar head. I'm thinking about selling it in the provincial city."
When Chen Hong first saw the stewed meat in the pot, she had wanted to taste it. However, the moment she heard what Gu Jin said, her expression changed.
"What did you just say?"
Chen Hong looked as if she was about to eat Gu Jin alive for saying something unpardonable.
