Lily walked into Finn's library and took in a deep breathe. She was ready to try reading again and honestly she wanted to preoccupy her mind with something else. Lily's mind keep flashing back to what Arlo said about her, himself, that there are nonhumans everywhere. Has everyone she has ever know deceived her? Was it all a lie? As her thoughts ran wild, Finn brought over tea and biscuits again and grabbed that first small picture book that Lily saw when she first met him. He pulled his chair close to her and sat down. "Okay, are you ready?" Finn said with a smile. Lily snapped out of her trance and focused all her attention on Finn. "Yes I am." Finn blushed at Lily's intense and focused eyes. When she wanted something, she really gave it her all.
Across the street Arlo had already noticed Lily with Finn and watched them with fiery eyes as they talked together. He already knew she would be going back to him but he was so annoyed by it all. Deep down he was jealous but was confident only he could truly make Lily happy. Only he could love her fully. Arlo clenched his fists as he watched Finn slowly raise his arm to touch Lily's back. Arlo felt the pressure in his chest to release a fire blast to burn his flesh and bones. Oh how that would give him great joy. He smiled to himself of just the pure image of it and then stopped himself. No he couldn't kill this mongrel. Even if he was a nuisance, Lily liked him so he knew if he did she would hate him for it and he couldn't have that. Arlo smiled as a bright idea came to him. "Yes! I will win her over with my charms." Arlo pondered. He glanced at them one more time and decided to head home as he had plans for them this evening.
"Jane is ha...ppy." Lily's voice struggled. "Amazing!" Finn bursted with pride. "You are getting it." Lily blush's at his praise and smiled happily. She glanced at the window and noticed the sun starting to set. "Oh my goodness! I have to go." Lily jumped up. She hoped Arlo wasn't home yet. If he knew she left the house without him beside her again she would get a hard scolding. Lily put on her boots and coat. "Thank you so much Finn. You're an amazing friend! Can we do this again?" "Of course! It would make me happy." Finn walked over to Lily and handed her the book they were reading. "Here. Take this with you and practice." Finn handed the children's book to Lily. Lily's face lit up with excitement. "Can I really?! Are you sure?" Finn nodded in agreement. Lily couldn't contain this feeling she was having and jumped up to hug him. She leaned back to let go but Finn was holding onto her tightly. Finn leaned in and breathed in her scent. It was amazing. He felt almost like he was starting to get intoxicated the more he inhaled it. "Umm Finn?" Lily now felt awkward and tried to push him again but his hot body clung to her even tighter. She felt embarrassed and a little frightened. As Finn squeezed her, he could feel her small body melting into his. Her breasts, her hair, her soft skin. He felt like he wanted to have her. He wanted to consume all of her. Finn had never felt something so intense. It was addicting. For an instance he lost control of his common senses."Finn!" Lily shouted. Finn then came back to reality and released her. Embarrassed at what had just happened, Finn didn't even know what to say. He glanced up Lily and saw her frightened expression. "I'm so sorry Lily, I didn't..... I just lost control and...." Finn tried to explain to her. Lily cut him off, "Finn are you a nonhuman too?" She asked as she slowly backed away towards the door. Finn couldn't even answer the question. Lily turned and ran out the door to head back home.
