Cleaning up

Arriving at the mansion Adam was pretty exhausted from fighting. He doesn't have to worry about his stamina running out since it's always replenishing but he just isn't used to fighting a late group of people.

Placing Asia on the living room couch Adam decided it was better to face Mikasa than try and run away from the issue.

"So you see I didn't want to bring you because I wasn't so sure whether you'd want to help me go rescue a girl" Adam began to explain.

"That's impossible if you would have asked me I would have gone with you no matter where we went," Mikasa responded with a straight face.

"Yeah, of course, you would. Okay, how about we forget about this and I promise to not leave you behind next time" Adam said trying to blow over the issue.

"I can forgive you so make sure to bring me next time. Well not like it matters since I am going to be watching you closely so you don't try and sneak out again. I'll be sleeping in your room from now on so I can monitor you so don't lock the door" Mikasa replied to Adam not giving any leeway for negotiation.

'Was this all so she could sleep in my room?' Adam thought to himself. " Alright, that's fine with me. Now, let's wake her up so we can figure out what to do," Adam said as he went to wake up Asia by injecting a bit of his mana into her body.

"Where am I?" Asia said as she slowly woke up.

"You're currently in my house in Asia. Do you remember me?" Adam asked while waiting for her to fully wake up.

"Is that you Adam? It's so good to see you again. What happened to me?"

"About that you see.... you probably got knocked out by an exorcist or by fallen angels" Adam tried explaining in a way that'd make sense to her.

"Fallen angels? I remember arriving at the church after meeting another boy. If I remember correctly I think his name was Issei. I was also paired up with an exorcist named Freed. I don't remember much after that" Asia said while trying hard to remember what happened.

"Well, that's fine for now. Mikasa, why don't you take her to another room so she can change and get ready for tomorrow. I still have to talk to Rias and the Student Council President about the damages". Adam said in an uninterested voice.

"Alright but don't try to sneak away," Mikasa said while looking at Adam.

"Yeah, I know, I'll see you guys in a bit," Adam said and then disappeared.

Arriving at the school, the sun was already beginning to come up. Adam sensed the group consisting of Rias and her peerage as well as Sona and her peerage. 'I guess I'll visit Rias first' Adam decided.

Walking into the ORC building Adam noticed that the familiars there had already seen him so he decided it was fine to just knock on the door.

"Ara, I see our friend hasn't forgotten about his debt" A voice coming from inside the room said.

"I didn't, I just had to deal with something" Adam responded as he opened the door to the room finding everyone in there.

"Explaining what you were doing to your girlfriend?" Rias commented.

"Yeah, that's exactly what I had to do. Now can you tell me how much I owe you. I still have to go and apologize to the Student Council President". Adam said while motioning them to hurry up.

"Not so fast, first you have to answer some of my questions," Rias said while trying to show her authority.

"Yeah sure go ahead princess, but nothing too personal" Adam replied without any care for her show of authority.

Hearing him call her princess again made Rias's eye twitch. Breathing in she began her questioning. "Who are you, what are you, and why are you here ".

"Well, I am Adam Lochner as you already know. I am also a human with nothing else. I wouldn't even call myself a magus or magician. And as to why I'm here; well believe it or not I just came here to go to school." 'As well as to fight people'. Adam responded to her questions while keeping the last part to himself. "Now that you got your answers, how much do I owe you?" Adam asked again.

"Well I suppose that's enough for now and as to how much you owe that will be 5 million yen in total" Rias said the last part with full confidence that Adam wouldn't be able to pay it and will have to owe her a favor.

"Will that be it? Do you want that in yen? gold? or something else?" Adam replied, shocking everyone.

"U-um gold?" Rias replied without thinking since her plan didn't work.

"Well alright, I guess" Adam replied as he put his hand into his pocket and pulled out gold bars back to back. About thirty gold bars later Adam finally stopped. "This should be enough now I have to get going"

"Wait! What did you do with Asia?!" Issei screamed before Adam could disappear.

"I didn't do anything to her so relax. Like I said I was just saving my friend from those fallen angels so you don't have to worry about it." Adam said and disappeared before they could ask any more questions.

"Ahh! He's so annoying leaving whenever he wants" Issei complained but no one listened to him.

"Ugh I missed my chance again" Rias complained to Akeno.

"It's fine Rias I'm sure we'll get him to help you some other time" Akeno did her best to comfort her distraught friend.

Adam was now outside the Student Council room waiting for someone to open the door instead of just barging in.

"You can come in now" Adam heard a voice call in from the inside.

Walking in Adam introduced himself "Hello my name is Adam nice to meet you guys".

"We know who you are Adam Lochner, nice to meet you as well. My actual name is Sona Sitri and the name I go by in the human world is Souna Shitori. You can call me whatever you want." The girl who was sitting in the chair behind the large desk introduced herself.

"My name is Tsubaki Shinra and I'm the vice president" the girl next to Sona introduced herself.

"Ni-" Adam was about to reply to them but was stopped by the other guy in the room.

"My name is Genshirou Saji, what are you doing here?"

"It's not nice to cut someone off, but I'll forget about it since it doesn't really matter. I came here to ask Sona if she could help me transfer Asia to this school. Also, I wanted to apologize for making a mess in the area near the church. I was enjoying the fight a bit too much. I already paid Rias the money, that's all I had to say so I'll be leaving," said Adam as he was getting ready to leave but was stopped by Sona of all people.

"Wait!" Sona yelled to stop Adam.

"Yeah?" Adam replied confused.

"Can I ask you a question?" Sona asked. Seeing that Adam hadn't slept she took it as him saying yes. "Would you be willing to join my peerage?" Sona asked. She knew what the answer would be but if what she heard from Rias was true then she'd be stupid to not at least try.

"That again huh?" Adam asked out loud." I'm sure you treat your peerage better than your friend but unfortunately, I'd rather not have someone order me around. Also, I mean no offense in saying this but you guys are too weak for me to join you. Like I told Rias you'd probably have to use all of your pieces to even have a chance."

Before Sona could answer Saji was the one to answer. "Who are you to call us weak, you're just a human you should be grateful for getting a chance to become a devil especially for becoming a member of the President's peerage."

Now Adam was lamenting the fact that he usually doesn't consider people's feelings when he says or does things. "I told you not to get angry and it does nothing even if you do. You guys are weak. I don't know why no one has told you that. And I know Sona likes to use strategy to outclass stronger opponents but that doesn't work when someone is way too strong or when someone is smarter than you and trust me many people in the supernatural are smarter than you".

Sona didn't like to show off but she liked to think of herself as one of the smartest devils right now. She also didn't like that Adam called them weak. She believed that Rias had just been exaggerating what happened so she decided to ask Adam for a battle. "How about you have a sparring match with one of my peerage members. I read that you're talented at kendo so a spar shouldn't be a problem, correct?"

"I see no problem. I also like sparring with talented individuals. Who will be facing me?" Adam asked.

"I'll be facing you, my name is Tomoe Meguri. Even if you aren't my type" the girl with reddish-brown hair said. She usually acts more cheerfully but hearing a boy who she didn't even know call her friends weak didn't sit right with her.

"Well if you say so. So where are we going to spar?" Adam asked.

"We can use one of the unused fields," Tsubaki answered.

Once at the field Adam went into position and waited for Tomoe to get ready. He also ignored the death stare he was receiving from Saji.

Tomoe went into her stance as well. She was using a sharp looking silver sword.

To try and prove his point Adam pulled out a normal kendo shinai from his treasury.

Seeing him not take her seriously Tomoe thought that Adam was mocking her so without waiting for a signal she shot off from her right foot and slashed her sword diagonally aiming at Adam's neck.

Adam saw that she was going for a killing blow but to him, it didn't really matter where she decided to aim. Quickly spinning to his left Adam jabbed at her hand holding the sword and once the sword got knocked out he hit her with another jab but this one went to the stomach making her spit out saliva.

Kneeling on one knee Tomoe used her sword as a stand so she didn't fall.

"Well, I hope that proves my point. Now, I have to get going before my privacy gets breached even more" Adam said.

"Privacy?" Sona questioned.

"Ahh forget about that now I really do have to get going," Adam said as he tried to leave.

"Wait! That doesn't prove anything. You said we were all weak so you should at least fight all of us once" Saji said trying to prove a point.

"I would love to fight all day but I really do have to go....." seeing that he was going to continue arguing Adam continued " but if you guys all go against me at the same time then it wouldn't really be a problem," Adam said with a smile.

"You're basically making fun of us at this point!" Saji yelled.

"But it's the truth, so hurry up and make up a strategy to use Sona. Tell me when you're ready" Adam said as he pulled out a blanket and laid down on the grass.

Now that he had agreed with Saji, Sona didn't have any problem making a strategy to use against Adam. Gesturing for her peerage to come closer Sona began to explain her strategy. Tomoe and Saji were to distract Adam since he's a weapon fighter, according to what she was told, while the rest fired magic towards him and Sona would try and restrict his movements with her water magic.

Noticing that they were done with their meeting Adam placed the blanket back in his treasury and pulled out a spear from his treasury.

"Wasn't he supposed to be a sword wielder?" Saji asked.

"I can use a sword but it doesn't mean it's the only thing I can use now stop talking and attack me or else I'll do it," Adam said as he held his spear in position to attack.

Seeing that the only people that were moving were Saji and Tomoe Adam realized what their strategy was in less than a second so instead of going for them he went straight for Sona. Blasting off his feet Adam made a crater on the floor from the force he exerted. He reached her almost immediately and slashed straight down while.

The peerage who were getting ready to play out their plan saw that it was seen through right away and Adam was already in front of Sona getting ready to strike her with a deadly blow.

Adam wasn't going to hit Sona from the beginning so as the tip of the spear was getting closer to her face he pulled it back just in time for it to slice her glasses down the middle. Once he made sure that the glasses were cut Adam jumped up to dodge the magic attacks from the two people shooting towards him. In the air, Adam placed the tip of his spear on the floor and landed on top of it with one foot.

Still standing on top of his spear Adam looked towards Sona "Sorry about the glasses, maybe I can help you buy new ones. What do you think? It'll be like a date" Adam said with his usual carefree smile.

"No thank you" Sona responded with a straight face but couldn't do much to hide the small blush showing on her face.

Seeing his crush get flirted right in front of his face Saji got annoyed so he attacked Adam with his Absorption line.

Having the line being swung around in front of him Adam dodged and keep landing on top of his spear.

Seeing that they weren't going to land a hit any time soon Adam disappeared and appeared in front of all the members of Sona's peerage. He moved so fast that he left afterimages where he was.

Now that everybody was knocked out and only Sona and Saji were left, Adam decided to finish Saji off first. Walking up to Saji Adam brought up his spear and swung it down towards Saji. The tip of the blade seemed to bend while it was being brought down. Instead of hitting Saji, it hit the ground next to him making a crater.

Thinking that Adam missed Sona was ready to attack but then stopped when she saw that Saji wasn't moving.

From Saji's perspective, the tip of the blade hit him multiple times. He barely caught any of them since they were too fast for him to see. A second later multiple bloodstains appeared on Saji's body.

Before Sona could say anything to Adam, he took out a vial and dropped it on Saji. Saji's wound Immediately healed leaving him just unconscious.

"I guess this is your loss, Sona. You guys should train more, you'll be facing strong opponents soon. Also, about the date to go shopping for glasses, how about next weekend? You guys did waste a lot of my time" Adam said while pretending to be bothered.

"Fine, but it's not a date okay? We are just buying new glasses" Sona replied since she did feel bad for wasting his time.

'That actually worked?' Adam thought to himself. He was just saying it to mess with her but now it backfired on him. "Alright, I guess that's fine then. Oh right, don't forget about enrolling Asia at the school" Adam said. He then walked out of the field but stopped and picked up a pebble. He then flicked it to the bushes where it hit something.

"Hey what was that for??!" Someone spoke out of the bushes.

"I guess we can't hide from you" someone else's voice came from out of the bushes.

Rias and her peerage came out of the bush. Issei had a red mark on his head from the pebble.

"It's not good to peak at someone," Adam said in a disappointed tone. "Just joking, I knew you guys were there from the beginning. I'll be leaving now" Adam said and actually vanished from where he was only leaving a gust of wind behind.

"He really is skilled," Sona said while picking up her glasses.

"Why did you even agree to fight against him? I had already told you how strong he was" Rias asked, confused by her friend's actions.

"It was so my peerage could experience how it was to have no chance of winning. Especially Saji, he seemed to have gotten arrogant ever since being reincarnated" Sona answered without any reaction.

Of course, Adam knew the reason why Sona had accepted from the start. That's why Sona felt bad for wasting his time.

"And then why did you accept his request for a date?" Rias asked.

"It's not a date and I did it to try and convince him to join my peerage. Nothing else." Sona answered, doing her best to hide her blush.

No one believed her answer but they didn't have the guts to point it out since it would only earn her wrath.
