Saber

Waking up, Adam was feeling uncomfortable with all the bodies on top of him.

Looking at his Arm, Ushiwakamaru was glued on it with the rest also attached to him.

He began wondering how they always ended up on him even on his large bed that could easily fit all of them next to each other. Making his way out of bed he did not attempt to be sneaky about it. Having to forcefully separate himself from Ushiwakakmaru's grasps; Adam made his way to his shower, locking the door behind him much to the disdain of the group that was following behind him.

Finishing his breakfast Adam headed to school but instead of entering his classroom, he made his way to the student council office. Knocking on the door he waited until he got his answer and after a few seconds, he was given the okay to go in.

Inside the room, Adam could see a variety of facial expressions. Saji was staring at him with a neutral face on his right, but Adam could feel his jealousy all over him.

Ignoring him he made his way to the person he was here for. "Sona, I'm here to ask for permission for a week off school," he told her.

"You know Adam, this isn't a job, you can't miss school so much. If you keep taking more days off then I'm afraid you'll be held back," she told him, her smile that she had earlier gone; with a strict look on her face.

"I should still be fine, I didn't join school out of necessity, If that was the case then I would have just graduated early" Adam told her with a serious expression on his face.

Knowing that he wasn't lying Sona couldn't say anything else, at least he was letting her know ahead of time instead of disappearing. Massaging her forehead from the future headaches the teachers and other faculty would give her from Adam not going to school she decided to let him do what he wanted. "Can I at least ask what you're going to do on your break?" she curiously asked.

Not wanting to make her worry about him he answered her question in the most confusing way possible, "I'll destroy an old man's twisted dreams and hopes" he said with a smile and left the room leaving Sona and her Peerage extremely confused.

"What do you think he meant by that?" Tsubaki asked her friend.

"I can't even guess but I'm sure we'll know later," she said with a sigh thinking back to all the times Adam has made a ruckus.

"Even still, is it fine to let him skip school like that? I mean we know how you feel about him but you shouldn't let that influence your decisions" she said to her with a hint of teasing in her voice.

"There's nothing I can do, he was going to skip school anyway, he just came here to inform me about it, not ask for permission," she told her.

"Doesn't that mean he thinks of you as someone important?" one of the girls, who was listening in to their conversation, interjected.

With a blush on her face, she rejected the idea. "No, it's because I'm the student council president and he knows I'm responsible for all the students" she tried making up a reasonable excuse.

Being put back by her poor attempt for an excuse no one else said anything

Every class felt like it lasted minutes and as time went on, Adam found himself heading home as he played around with a small spear in his hands.

He soon found him standing in front of his house's door. Ignoring the person aiming an arrow at him, he entered the house and went straight into his room.

Taking out his sword he was in awe of how beautiful it looked. He stood for minutes admiring his work. Wondering how sharp it was he slashed it with another sword but before it even made contact the sword was broken down into multiple pieces.

Confused by what was going on he did the same thing again but paid more attention to the sword. Just as they were about to make contact; he saw multiple strikes flying at the sword.

Watching that take place he wondered if the same thing would happen with any other form it took.

Changing the form of it to every weapon he could think of he found out that it had the same effect.

Going outside, Adam began training and diligently did his routine while trying different things as well. After a while, he looked up at the sky and to his surprise, it was already becoming dark.

In the living room, the girls were laying on the carpet while playing board games with each other. "When did you guys arrive?" he asked, confused.

"We got here a couple of hours ago, but you were too focused on your training so we've been playing games with each other" Mikasa told him.

"Thanks for that" he thanked them for not disturbing him. Finding Ushiwakamaru, who was playing chess with Rossweisse, he looked at her for a few seconds before turning around and heading for the door," I'll be out for a while so don't mind me" Adam said as he exited out the door.

"Hmm? Where is Adam going?" Asia asked the other girls.

"It might have something to do with the lack of people on our way home," Mikasa told them.

"Now that you mention it, there were fewer people than there normally is," Xenovia added.

On the rooftop of the Mansion, Adam was looking at a building that was far off into the distance.

Appearing next to him, Ushiwakamaru asked, "Is it finally time Master?" as she starred in the same direction as Adam.

Without looking he replied to her, "Yeah". As he said that, he felt strong magical signatures growing.

Not saying anything else he began running towards the direction the magical signatures originated from. After a minute of running, he arrived at the rooftop of a traditional Japanese home.

"I'm impressed you managed to survive my attack, it's unfortunate but my master is forcing me to retreat," a man with blue hair and shiny blue armor said. He was speaking to a woman with medieval armor. He then jumped away from her and ran in the opposite direction of Adam.

The woman then looked in Adam's direction "There's no time for talking Master, there are two enemies here and two more on their way." she told the red-haired boy behind her.

Jumping towards Adam she slashed her weapon at him.

Suddenly, as it was about to connect with him, a katana appeared in front of her and stopped her weapon mid-air.

"I will be your opponent," Ushiwakamaru told her with killing intent that would have people wondering how such a small girl could be the source of it.

"Very well," the blonde woman told her. She then got close to her and swung her weapon at her as fast as possible.

Taking the first blow, she knew that she wouldn't last long if she tried deflecting all of her opponent's blows. Dodging the blows was easy for her as she was faster than her opponent, so she continued to dodge all the blows being thrown at her and insert her attacks simultaneously.

Jumping off a small tree branch, she had her Katana aimed at the woman's neck, but she blocked her last second. Jumping onto a tree she looked at the woman in front and then searched for her Master.

"You alright?" Adam asked the red-haired boy.

Panicked, he picked up a broken pipe and aimed it at Adam. "What's going on? Who are you people?" he asked Adam.

'Somehow things still turned out this way' Adam thought to himself as he looked at the kid in front of him who still had the same courage Adam remembered him having.

Smacking the pipe out of his hand; he walked up to the boy and weakly pushed him. Even with no strength behind him, he was still sent tumbling across the ground.

Looking over his shoulder he talked to the blonde girl "Give up, you're not winning" he told her.

"Master!" she shouted and ran across the backyard and swung her weapon at Adam's head.

Shaking his head in disappointment he shifted his weight to his other leg and dodged the blow without any effort.

Seeing her blow dodged by a normal human felt like a huge hit on her skill so she proceeded to attack him again by redirecting her swing and slashing at him horizontally.

Lifting off the floor with one of his legs, he spun in the air and kicked the girl in her face, sending her flying back into the shed where she was before.

Seeing so much power from a human she was beginning to doubt whether or not she was fighting against another servant instead of a normal human.

Before he could jump on her and attack again, Adam dodged an incoming blade.

Landing in front of him, a servant with a red coat and white hair. Looking at the entrance of the house he saw Rin standing there; dumbstruck by the current situation.

She could have never thought that those two out of everyone would end up being Masters.

"So you're an Archer class but you use those blades," Adam told the servant in front of him.

"So Master? Which of them should be eliminated first?" he asked Rin.

Still being in disbelief by the current situation Rin wasn't able to respond.

"You don't have to worry about anything Rin, you would never get the chance to kill me, even with all the Servants here combined" Adam casually told her.

Rin and the two other servants found what he said to be humiliating. 'What kind of power does he have that would allow him to think like that they all thought.

He ran up to Archer with no hesitation and sent a roundhouse kick to his face at an incredible speed.

Not surprised by his speed, Archer managed to jump away from the kick. Landing next to Rin he waited for her to yell out instructions but unluckily she was still a bit hesitant to attack.

"You do know I don't even want to fight right?" Adam told Rin since he could see she wasn't going to continue the fight any longer.

"Then why are you attacking Archer you idiot!?" she screamed, confused by how opposite his actions and words were.

"Huh?" Adam asked in confusion. "He was the one who attacked me, as a matter of fact, I didn't start a single fight here," he told them.

After a few seconds Rin realized he was right and couldn't retort with anything else.

"I came here to fight Lancer but he ran away as I got here, I could've killed that boy over there if I wanted to," Adam told everyone as he pointed at the red-haired boy who was passed out on top of garbage bags.

With all of them concluding that there was no reason to fight, Adam picked up the boy but as he was about to place him into what he assumed to be his house he was stopped by a sword tip on his back.

"Give him to me" the small blonde-haired girl ordered him.

Shrugging his shoulders he passed him on to her. Not too long after the boy woke up and looked at everyone in confusion and fear.

Adam made Ushiwakamaru take her spiritual form and Rin followed suit.

"Kid, what's your name?" Adam asked.

"Shirou Emiya" the kid cowardly replied to him. "Tohsaka, what's going on," he asked the only person he knew in the room.

Adam didn't say anything and just listened to Rin's description of what was going on. "Saber, it will be better if we have the person overseeing this explain it to him, let's head to the church," Rin told her.

"That should be fine, what do you say, Master," she asked Shirou.

"I don't have a problem with it either, I want to have a better understanding of what's going on" Shirou replied to Saber.

"And what will you do Adam," Rin asked Adam who had been quiet the whole time.

"I'll go with you then, I have yet to tell Kirei about me summoning a Servant" Adam replied to her.

"You haven't done that yet?" she asked him.

Shaking his head to reply to her he made his way out of the house.

Walking through the empty streets there was an awkward atmosphere that floated in between everyone.

"Alright we're here," Rin told everyone as they came to a stop in front of an old church.

Opening the door they were met by Kirei standing in front of the church's altar.

"Oh, who do we have here? I didn't think you would come here after all the times you've declined my invitations Rin" he told her.

Not wanting to be here Rin could do nothing but bite her lip "There's a master that needs you to explain how things work, so it would be nice if you could do your job" she told him with a forced smile.

"It would be my pleasure, but this is quite weird," he said as he looked at Adam and Shirou.

"If both of you are Masters then there are already more than seven servants who have been summoned," he told them.

Rin was surprised by the information. To her knowledge, only seven servants should be able to be summoned.

"That would be my fault," Adam told them. "It seemed that someone had already summoned the class for my Servant so I forcefully summoned her with my mana. It should be fine though, I still count as a Master don't I?" he asked them but he wasn't looking for any confirmation from them. "It's not like having another Servant would make much of a difference right?" he said in a sarcastic tone as he looked at Kirei.

"If that is what the grail chose then I have no say in the matter," Kirei said without a change in his expression or voice.

Not getting the answer he wished for Adam didn't try and get him to spill anything again. "Since that's all I needed to say, I'll be waiting outside for you," he told them and headed towards the gate outside.

"I hope you come again," Kirei told him as he was leaving.

"I'll be back, for sure," Adam said to him.

Arriving at the gate he saw Saber standing guard. Not saying anything to her, he stood on the other side of the gate.

Out of nowhere, Saber began a conversation with Adam. "What are you," she asked him with a stoic face.

Adam was going to Answer with his usual answer of being a human but knew that she wasn't going to buy that answer. "As far as I know I am a human" he replied to her but then spoke again, " at least half of me is human, the rest, I don't know. But I do know that my existence is a mistake, a glitch would be a better term to describe me" he replied to her. "I wonder why I told you that much," he questioned himself. He closed his eyes and cleared his mind, "Your charisma really is something else" he told her without opening his eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about," she told him without changing her expression.

"I wonder if once you achieve the goal you set for yourself, do you start regretting the decisions that you took to achieve it" Adam spoke to himself but made sure it was loud enough for Saber to hear. "Even if someday I achieve the goal I set for myself, I won't regret the choices I made, if I were to do that then it would be a disgrace to those who helped me throughout the way" he once again spoke to himself. Looking to his left he could see Saber was starting to get uncomfortable by what he was saying.

"What is your goal then?" she asked him after clearing her mind.

"Saving the world?" he said unsure, "No that's not it, that is only something I've been saying to trick myself for when the time comes. My only wish is to keep the people that have accepted me safe, it doesn't matter if the world were to end, as long as I managed to keep them happy and safe then I would be happy. Even if I'm not with them, as long as they're safe then that's fine" he said to her with a sad smile.

"What about your own-" Saber was interrupted by Rin's voice.

"We're done now so you should fine to head home," she told Adam but realized she had cut off Saber. "Were you going to say something?" she asked.

"No, it's fine. Master, you have the basic idea of the war so you should begin training so you won't be caught off-guard by another master" she told Shirou and stared at Adam towards the end of her sentence.

Shirou was still on the edge of joining the war, if he won he should be able to wish anything he wanted into existence. 'Maybe I could make his dream come true,' he thought to himself remembering his dad's wish.

"I'll do my best so we can both have our wish granted," he told Saber with a newfound fire inside of him.

Adam could tell that something had changed within Shirou, or to be more precise, it went back to how it should have originally been.

Now that they were done with everything, they decided to head home.
