"Martha, She's an abandoned kid now. Stop getting curious over it." Vincoln's words stunned Martha as she widened her eyes.
'Abandoned Kid??'
"What do you mean??" Martha narrowed her eyes on Vincoln that she wanted to know deep about that. She moved closer to him and her eyes never left him.
"I mean....I heard ma'am saying her parents abandoned her. Her guardian wants her to continue her studies here, But...." Vincoln hung his words when he looked at Martha. He could see the curiosity in her eyes. He didn't get why she was so curious about this but he didn't want her to get involved much.
"But??" Martha questioned as she waited for his response.
"I heard she did some mess. Principal wasn't able to take her back to the school. I mean....He doesn't trust her that she would not do anything like that again." He said and a sigh escaped from Martha.
"That's better. I don't want her here." She placed her right palm on her chest showing her relieved expression but faded with Vincoln's words.
"I think she need to continue her studies here." He said it. Martha turned her face to look at him but he wasn't looking at her. She didn't expect those words from him because he was always supporting Martha's opinion. This made her stun.
"Come again??" She wanted to make to that she heard wrong. She didn't want to hear those words from him.
"You got me right. She's in pity state, Martha. I don't think she'll do something crazy being aware of her circumstances." He shrugged at Martha as if he was trying to convince her with his words. Martha took a step back as he stepped towards her. Her face turned blank that she seemed low.
"What are you going to do?? You can't help her. Can you??" Her voice was quiet, head still down as she clenched her shirt at the bottom tight. Vincoln couldn't see her face but he wanted her to get stronger and he didn't want her to be scared over that girl. He thought this over and begun to speak.
"We can help her. We just need to assure principal sir that she would not do such deeds again. Martha, I can't do this. Neither can Victor. We're new here. So there's no way he's going to trust us. So...." Vincoln looked at Martha intensionally as he placed his palm on her head.
"You need to do this." Martha's eyes widened the instant she heard him. She frowned her brows too deep that she was expressing her disgusted feeling to him.
"What the hell!!!!?? There's no way I'm going to do that!!!!" She yelled at him.
"Tessa can't do that too. Though she's here for years, she's new to your class. So, you need to help her." His voice was calm as if he was trying to persuade her to do the mission. Martha shook her head number of times that there was no way she was going to do it. Vincoln could understand how much she hated Nyna. No....How much she's scared of Nyna by her actions. He then held her head stopping her to move and moved closer as he spoke.
"If you help her now. She could be at your soft concern." He whispered in her ears which made her give a thought about it. When he was waiting for her response, something suddenly pulled him back snapping him out of the situation that he had forgotten the other two in the spot.
"Why are you forcing her?? Can't you see, she's not in the shape of doing that. Plus, you're saying to help that girl who made Little Grape cry. Is this really you?? You didn't want Nyna to come back into her life. You said that. Now, why are you trying to help that wicked girl??" Victor threw tantrum on his brother that he didn't want her to have pressure.
"Think Vicky. She has no choice now. And they say there's no way her guardian can afford her studies. They say she had scholarships here before. She can only continue her studies here. Can't you see her pity sta-"
"But Vincoln, I was the one who got blamed for what she did. Principal sir still believes that I did it. And you're thinking I can help her make him believe. What's this??" Martha cut through Vincoln's words that she seemed this thing popped in her brain a little late. And ofcourse her words threw Vincoln in thoughts that he rubbed his nape with his palm. After a while something came up in his mind that his eyes raised and he raised his head too.
"Lorries." He just uttered her name left Martha in a lot of doubts.
"Lorries??" She didn't get what he meant.
"Yeah. Lorries. We can have anyone stand with her and let him believe that she's not going to do such things again. I guess, If Lorries stood behind her Sherley, Paula and other girls will be with her too." He stated his thought but they made Martha's face blank.
"Lorries.She..." She hung her words but they were enough for the guys and the girl beside to know what she was thinking about.
"Don't worry Martha. We'll do one thing." the one who's silent all the time then came up with the idea knowing there was no way Lorries going to talk with them.
"We'll do what??" Victor turned towards Tessa as he placed his grip on his side hips as if he was ordering her to spit it out. They then circled as Tessa begun to talk and the three listened.
"Uhm...we just need them to know that Nyna has an impediment in joining the school back, right?? Anyways we both girls sit beside Lorries. We both will talk about this matter that we'll make her listen us fortunately unfortunate. She must think that she heard fortuitously." Tessa uttered her idea and the three people begun to look themselves as if they were asking eachother if they had any objections with her plan then Martha raised her hand showing she had a thing to utter.
"We'll let her know she has objection to join back. But how will she know that she should help her assure sir??" Martha then placed her fingers on her chin that she started to think so did Vincoln.
"We can talk that too when she's beside us." Tessa uttered but Vincoln shook his head.
"She'll get doubt that we want her to do it." He then lowened his head begun to think when,
"Little Grape, You need to talk to her." Victor eyed at Martha and she looked at him.
"Talk to whom??"
"Nyna."
