"Miss Windlor, here is the thing you requested." A small man said, quickly bowing to intimedating woman. A pale and skinny with long nails reatched and grabbed the scroll. She untied the ribbon holding the secret inside the ancient and beat up looking scroll. The woman read out loud what the scroll said as everyone perked up and stopped what they were doing.
Her voice echoed across the room and demanded attentio as she read alloud what the scroll said, "A child made of fire and luck shall lead a country to greatness." She read. A shocked look fell upon the court that was brought in to hear the prophecy. the queen pondered on who could the prophecy be about. She read further down, as not to alert the court about the rest and her eyes almost popped out of her head she read the last line. A neko child shall be the young messiah.
She cleared her throat and stood up from her throne and the court went silent once more as she opened her mouth to speak, waiting to hear her orders. "Find the child of fire name and of neko descent." She demanded and the people quickly scattered, talking amongst themselves as they wonder what could have made the queen think of a lowly Neko.

As Ember headed home, she watched as berions passed by, some yelling lewd comments out the window or straight up rasis comments. She was quickly put into a more sour mood due to hese people's horrible taste in manners and morals. She huffed to herself and was quick to run home as to hopefully avoid more horrible comments. As her house came into view she became very confused as berion was waiting infront of her house.
She backed up in shock, her father never used a berion, it was always walking or getting a ride from the farm cart that passed by often. She slowly walked towards her house, lowering her ears and tail. Was something going to happen to her father or herself? She swallowed and shakily continued to walk towards her home.
As she got closer she felt more and more of an urge to run, was someone going to hurt her? Was someone here to dishonor her father? She grit her teeth, her sharpened caines bit down into her gums. She would chose the first option any time over her father being dishonored. As she approached the house a royal looking female walked out of the house and looked at her and pointed at her.
Signalling to come toward her, Ember paused for a second but not for long as the royal looking woman glared at her. She walked forward as she approached the porch, gaurds appeared from the house after the woman had called into the house. Ember stiffened, her ears perking up on insitinct and the woman smirked when she saw her ears. Ember wimpered at the prospect of someone taking her ears, the crunch of the gravel became more apparent as her ears raised up and her fear continued to spike.
As she arrived at the door step and the woman finally spoke, "Whats you're name rotvanger?" She demanded and Ember cleanched her fists at the insulting term.
"Its Ember." Ember lightly growled.
"Oooh, little rotvanger has a mean side." The woman spat, "Load her up, she's one." She said and just as what she said regesitered in her mind, the gaurds roughly seszied her and practically threw her into berion.
"Wait! Father!" She yelled right before the door was slammed shut. She opened the curtains to see her father being restrained by the gaurds.
"Let her you go you monsters!" Her father demanded and her puppy ran out of the house and yipped at the berion door. Ember opened the door to let her puppy in as the royal gaurds and woman were too busy trying to restrain and make up excuses about her leaving.
Ember sunk into her seat as she heard her father start to cry and she felt the berion begin to move. She looked out the back and watched her father fall onto his knees crying heavily. She felt her tears welling up in her brown her eyes. She didn't want this for herself, why was she being taken away? Had the rasis become so strong that they were rounding up other species? She shuddered at the idea of being held just because of something she couldn't control, she didn't chose to be a neko, no one chose to be one.
As she watched the familar town she knew go by, they came upon the bridge and she started to breathe heavily. "Lower the bridge!" She heard someone shout and the gaurd did as they were told. As she heard the lowering of the slightly rusty chains that controlled the bridge.
She watched as they passed by the bridge as her panic attack only increased as they cross over the bridge as she held her puppy tightly. She didn't like the idea of looking at this bridge, let alone crossing it. As she felt the bump of leaving the bridge and she lossened her hold on her puppy.
She watched as the only place she had ever known faded out of view and the plains just continued on. She held back her tears as she watched the country side go by. She wiped her eyes to keep tears from spilling as she petted her puppy. "What am I going to Rosco?" She asked as she cuddled her sweet little puppy. He yipped at her and she smiled slightly. "You always know what to say." She whispered.
As plains turned into mountains and past the mountains she saw the castle come into view and she glared at it with pure hatred. Not only did she hate the fact she was practically kiddnapped by the government but because they did nothing to stop hate crimes or help assulat victims of diffierent species. They were rasis do the core and she hated them.
