Introduction

"Hey, if you're going to cry like that how can I possibly move on?" she said looking at the guy holding her hand while she is laying down the streets, her head covered in blood while grasping for air.

The whole place is now crowded with people watching. Cameras are on the hands of the people near by, taking shots here and there. The flashing lights covers the scene like a celebrity is passing down a red carpet.

While sirens can be heard, the flashing blue and red lights struck his eyes, and a pair of paramedics arrives, one carrying a stretcher while the other rushed to the woman resting on the cold asphalt road.

It is raining, and her blood is slowly covering the road mixing with the rain water. The medics carefully placed the stretcher in place, then before they could transfer her, she loosen her grip to the man's hand and slams her hand on the ground, water splashing as her hand land.

The man holding her was shocked to the scene, he can't even say a word nor move himself so that the specialist can do their work. He just kneeled there while getting soak in rain, in front of him is the girl bleeding to death and the paramedics that is giving her a CPR.

"She is dying" a voice whispered to his ears, and everything paused, the people, the noise, even the rain drops paused. Like time stopped for that very instant.

"What will you do?" the voice continued

He turned around and a man wearing a suit revealed himself. He is well dressed that he seemed like an enterprise owner or a president of a profound company.

He is stunned of what he sees in front of him. But he knows one thing for sure. He wants to save her.

"I want to save her." he said immediately.

"Well... you know the price." the man replied and the guy facing him just nod in agreement.

The guy wearing a suit, shows a grin on his face, while he raised his chin up and looked at the heavens, with a taunting smile.

After that, everything turned back to normal. The flashing lights of the camera, the noise of the sirens and people talking and the rain pours back again. After realizing it, the man lost his strength and collapsed, his eyes wide open while looking at the girl. He can see the feet of the medics now rushing towards him and then everything went black.

In a room, illuminated by the morning light the loud sound of the alarm clock woke the snoozing man from his sleep. Trying to reach out the source of the noise, he swiftly touches the side table next to his bed and pressed the alarm button to shut it.

He still didn't rose up from his bed. He stared to the ceiling of his room while he rest his right arm on his forehead and sighed.

"Having a hard time to get up from bed?"

A familiar voice broke his train of thoughts from a direction that is really close to where he is laying. He moved his eyes to where the voice came from and saw a man reading a book while sitting on a chair right next to him.

"How far did I went back?" he asked with a weak voice and still not moving an inch from his current position.

"Three days back." The man answered him while still reading his book.

"Looks like you are getting used to it by now huh?" the man sitting on the chair added

The man on the bed resumed on looking up the ceiling, staring up thinking of what have happened on the near future and the room is now filled with deafening silence. But the peace hasn't stayed for that long.

"Like I said before, even if you try to think of what happened before you jumped back in time, you still won't remember a thing." He said, closing the book he is reading then stood up from the chair and walked towards the door of the room.

"Especially the reason why you came back in the past." He added while reaching for the door knob and slightly opening the door.

"Laplace, I'll follow afterwards." The guy on the bed said. Then the man standing in front of the door walks out of the room.

"Right. That is the price I have to pay." He said to himself while staring at the ceiling. He can remember the past happenings that occurred to him and some of what will happen in the future like a possible accident or an event at that day but not the events that will happen after he reversed the time.

All he can remember is that there is an accident, he is holding a girl's hand, it is raining, blood is mixed with the rain water that is flowing on the road to the drainage, he saw that guy Laplace and then he collapsed. But that remaining memories he had about the future are dazed and foggy. He can't remember the face of the girl he is holding with his hands and what's worst is the reason why he came back in time.

But what bothers him the most is that the pain he felt on his chest, it is like he is stabbed on that particular part, he forgot something that is really important for him that the pain is getting deeper and deeper into his heart. His vision gets foggy, his mind is blank and everything about that time is a blur while he felt a warm substance flowing from his eyes down to his cheeks.

"Maybe it is something so important for my future self." He said to himself, but he can do nothing about it, for he doesn't remember.
