In every corner of the hostel, you could see a girl talking over a phone nonstop. Some of them are smiling while others are shouting and quite a few even crying.
I still remember a girl next to my room, had a terrible break up, owing to the fact that her boyfriend got engaged to some other girl. She was shouting in her room and we could hear it in ours. "How dare you do this to me?" A sudden shrill cry came at around 2 am.

This was followed by a sudden outburst of some fancy expletives, half of them in typical authentic language, which I could not even comprehend. Her outburst ended in another two minutes and we could hear nothing after that.
Thus falling in love was totally an alien concept for me...
