Little boy

I was amazed to hear that. His words brought tears in my eyes. I could have never imagined this side of him. I was getting to know a different Aarosh, who was so serene and balanced.

"I am so sorry Aarosh, I had no idea,"I whimpered.

"I know, I already said that" he chuckled.

"I really had no idea. I hope you believe me," I repeated in a hoarse voice. I was lost in a trance and wasn't even realizing that I sounded so dumb.

Aarosh started laughing loudly and said "You sound like a frog Amayra."

I studied his face carefully. I wanted to figure out if things were fine between us. How good he was at hiding emotions I wondered, unlike me. It takes me a fraction of second to start my waterworks and hours to stop it.

He grasped me by my shoulder and looked into my eyes.

"I know you would never hurt me intentionally," he said very sweetly and smiled.

His words brought a smile on my face. He said something which I really wanted to hear.

"Thank you so much for understanding," I said gazing in his eyes.

The others were waiting for us at some distance. They did not interrupt us, maybe because they expected this conversation to happen, between us.

I and Aarosh started walking in the opposite direction, not realizing that they all were waiting for us in the other direction.

"Hey! Where is everybody?" I said in a surprise after we had strolled some distance.

"I guess they left." Aarosh replied looking equally puzzled.

We waited for another five minutes, for somebody to show up, but nobody came.

"I suppose, I have you all by myself today." Aarosh said in an elevated tone, giving me a wicked smile.

I myself couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Yes, you do indeed," I chuckled. "Lucky you are!"

"So come, today you are lucky enough to meet Fratelli," he exclaimed, jumping like a kid.

"Fratelli! Who's that?" I asked, perplexed at the oddity of the name.

He did not respond and instead held my hand excitedly and took me to the parking lot. We walked a little and halted next to a red colored car. I am not really a car freak, so couldn't figure out what car it was. But I have to admit, it was a beautiful sedan, pristine and lustrous.

"Ta da! Presenting my new love, Fratelli," he exclaimed very proudly.

"Wow! Beautiful," I applauded, trying not to sound disinterested.

"Hop in mademoiselle! What are you waiting for?" He uttered enthusiastically.
