Saad's pov:
Numb. That was all I felt when I returned back after grabbing mama's medicines from the clinic, only to see bags kept in the hall and worried expressions adorning everyone's faces. Ammi, Atifa and Amira were nowhere to be seen and for a moment my heart skipped a beat as I looked around, trying to find them.
Exhaling loudly, I ran a hand through my hair in frustration, starting to regret my decision of staying out for longer than necessary. 'I should have come back home sooner! I knew heading to the clinic was a bad idea! I should have just asked someone else to bring it instead of me! I shouldn't have even left them alone in the first place.' These thoughts ran through my mind as my gaze frantically searched around, finally landing on bhabi who was standing in a corner, fiddling with her fingers. When she noticed my gaze, she discreetly motioned towards her room, telling me that they were still in there.
