Family.

Year: 2025.

Around 5 pm.

"Mr. Coleman, we need to move you and your family immediately, there's no telling what this virus will cause once it hits New York City,"

I tighten my grip around her hand more, "We should do as he says Rose, I need to send you and our daughters to a save location until they contain this virus,"

"Mr. Coleman, you're joining their save location, we have orders," Her watering pedals bounce between me and our daughters… how are they ever going to have a normal life?

They just turned three. They barely know anything about life, and not to mention, her surprising pregnancy breaks my heart even more.

A new child on the way, and this one won't experience any sense of normal life.

"Ethan, will you come along with us? I can't raise them without you. We-I need you," I tug them into a hug, a hug to ensure them everything will be okay, we will survive this, just like all the other fights.

With me being a soldier, many halves tried and taken the lives of my family, but I saved them every time.

"I promise nothing will happen, Rose, I will never break my promise to you or our daughters, especially this one," My hand hugs her stomach, ensuring that I will make sure this little one will have a life… a normal life.

Waterworks enveloped in her sea-green eyes; I streak a string of her dark brown chocolate hair out of the way, "Promise me…" "I promise Rose,"

I bugle the seat belts of the busy twins and peck on each forehead… I make my way over toward Rose, gripping tightly on the seat handles.

The captain explains the plane will take off, and I feel restless as it is, I never enjoyed flying, even if I had to a few times, to save the country, it still doesn't please me.

I wake to a plane rumbling, I can feel the pressure of her hand, she's panicking, I glance droopy at my daughters swaying along the plane, singing happy songs…

I chuckle toward them, "Ethan, darling, is this normal? Should the plane be rumbling like this?" I shift comfortably in the seat and nod toward her, "Sure, dear, it happens sometimes,"

She doesn't look pleased at all, I notice her panic traveling, she holds her stomach tightly, "Just calm down, Rose, you don't want to upset the children,"

She nods toward me in an anxious smile. Rose never was one for staying calm when something feels wrong, I can say she has a third sense when something is about to happen, and since this plane took its place in the air; she has been acting like this.

Within seconds, rose almost snaps the belt, and a scream fills the air as soon as my weight bounce against her stomach, "Ethan!" My eyes land on her stomach in shock, my hands surround her stomach instantly.

"Damn it, Rose, are you all right? I'm sorry," She nods toward me with pin eyes, "Yes, yes, I'm fine, the girls," I snap at the crying twins, struggling their belts, I plug the belt off me and hurry toward them.

"No!" I force my crawl toward them once more, "Hold on," "Daddy…" "Daddy help," "No," The plane threatens with speed toward who knows where and have me trapped between a cabinet.

"No, hold on, j-just hold on," Their screaming ends as tremendous sounds echo through the air and everything before my view fades.

My eyelids flutters, I push upward on all 4s and scan the surrounding area. We crash-landed somewhere; I wasn't sure where.

"Rose… girls? No, it can't be… they can't be dead." With little strength, I force upward and drag my leg around searching for them.

Burning objects enter my nostrils, the area the plane crashed shredded it in two, and for days I searched for them.

However, I never found them…
