First Meeting
"Aira! Are you ready yet?"
"Yeah mom.... just a sec..."
"Make sure to get all your important stuff inside the beg before we go." Said my mom from downstairs.
"Okay mom!"
Hey! My name is Aira. I am currently a third year college student. For my first and second year, I get to live in the hostel but I didn't get any offer on my third year. That's why I need to rent a low budget apartment near my campus.
The notification sound from my phone make me startled a bit. A message appears.
Hey Aira, have you reached your apartment yet?
-Sarah-
Not yet... I'm still on a highway...
-Aira-
Okay, text me when you arrive... I'll come to your apartment and help packing up your things.

"Thanks dad for the ride" I said while hugging him.
"No problem slugger. Call me if you need anything." He said and pinch my nose. He's headed to the car and start the engine.
"Are you sure you don't need my help packing up all that stuff of yours." Said my mom.
"Yeah it's fine mom. Sarah already on her way to help me."
"Okay then... behave yourself and...." She's waiting for me to say the next sentence.
"Be careful around boys... I know mom, you told me everytime..."
"That's my girl. Take care..." She hug me and go inside the car. Both of them waving me a goodbye before leaving the parking lot.

I feel so lazy and tired. I just want to lay in bed and play with my phone. Maybe I'll just wait for Sarah to come. She said that she's on the way from her hostel.
On the other hand, I didn't know who is my roommate. She seems friendly when talking on the phone. There is a total of 2 rooms and 2 person per room.
"Tock... tock!" The knocking on the front door make me so happy. It must be Sarah. I rushed up to open it only to know it was someone else.
"Thank god there is someone at home. I forgot my keys when I went out." She said and go inside the house.
"Sorry... you're Aira right? the new girl?" she ask.
"Yep, and you are..."
"Elena... you can call me Lena for short."
"Okay... Nice to meet you Lena." I said with a smile. In short, Lena was a little bit taller than me but not like that super tall. She has a nice figure with long dark brown hair. She was also my senior and this is her last year in college.
"Have you eaten your lunch yet?" She ask.
"No, I want to pack up my things first." I said while heading off to the room.
"Why don't we eat first... that can wait. I'll help you later." She said and put the food she buy on the dining table.
"You don't need to help me... I already..."
"I insist" She said before I even finish my sentence.
"Okay then. Let me get the food my mom was cooking this morning."
"Yeay! homemade food. Can't wait to taste it." She seems super happy.
We chat, we laugh and get to know each other. I'm glad she's easy to approach and seems like a friendly person.
"What are you majoring at?" she ask.
"I'm majoring in chemistry"
"Wow... hard subject to master"
"Haha... I know, what about you?"
"I'm on business major. Not as smart as you."
"Are you kidding. You definitely smart at making money." I said while eating my mom sherperd pie.
"Haha... you can say that." She laugh.
A knocking at the door stopped our conversation. " I get it..." I said and stood up from my chair.
I open the door and saw my best friend wearing a dark blue sweater. "Took you long enough" I said.
"Sorry... something came up on the way here." I invited her in and go straight to the dining table.
"Sarah, this is Lena... Lena, Sarah" I introduce them both.
"Hi, nice to meet you Sarah. Come join us." She said while placing an empty plate on the table.
"Wow... looks like a feast to me." Sarah said and sitting in front of me.
"I just bought all of this but nothing can beat Aira's mom cooking." Lena said while pouring a glass of water.
"I know right. Aira's mom the best." Sarah said.
"So you both are from the same major?" Lena ask.
"Yep" We answered almost simultaneously.
We talk for a bit before heading off to my room and packing all the stuff. I'm so lucky to have friend like this.
