Chapter 34- Arrival and Summoning
Kazuki and Coppelia was about to leave the student dorm when they met Maggie and Sakura outside with their luggage. As far as he remembers, he didn't tell anyone except for Griffin, Helgard and Coppelia about his departure so seeing both of them ready to go with him is a surprise.
"Why are you here?" Kazuki asked while looking at them suspiciously.
" W-well whats with you not inviting us?" Sakura asked
" Actually some paladins asked us to join you so we agreed" Maggie added shyly. She felt shy going to Order without Kazuki inviting them. Even if they received an invitation from the paladins, Kazuki is still the future king of order.
Kazuki let out a silent sight and said, "We will go to the Holy palace first. Sir Griffin will help me make summoning crystals."
They went to the Holy palace and saw Griffin preparing a cauldron for the mixing of ingredients.
"Good morning sir Griffin" all four of them said simultaneously. Griffin just nodded and looked at Kazuki. He immediately knew what Griffin meant and gave him the ingredients.
Griffin melted the ingredients one by one using [flare], a 2nd tier flame spell commonly used for forging.
He then mixed the melted ingredients inside the cauldron and added the Holy water. As he stirred, a solid particle was forming below. He kept stirring it until the liquid particles fully evaporated and two transparent crystals were formed. He took those 2 and gave them to Kazuki.
Kazuki thanked Griffin and left. As he walked outside the castle, a carriage pulled by 4 silver wolves was waiting for them. They were also provided with 4 paladin riders to act as an escort. They arrived in an empty land filled with grass. The paladins then opened the carriage's door and Kazuki stepped out.
"Why are we in an empty grassland?" he asked being dumbfounded.
"The kingdom is hidden by the white monarch's magic so it's invisible to the naked eye" a familiar voice behind them said.
They turned around and saw Pegasus standing still.
"Greetings master. I will be the one to open your kingdom's gate" he said as he started to kneel.
Kazuki nodded and one of the paladins brought a white orb. Pegasus then imbued it with his mana and it started to glow brightly. A portal then opened but it was a little different from the portal that Kazuki always sees. Unlike Griffin's portal which was colored ped with black mist swirling inside, the portal in fron of him was white as if it was leading to heaven. Kazuki stepped inside and when he arrived at the other side, there were 70,000 paladins kneeling. All of them were waiting for his arrival. A white dragon then landed in front of him. It was the same dragon which he saw at Yin Yang Canyon back then. It bowed it's head and said, "Future king, I am the white monarch who guards Order. Before you could proceed to the castle as the king, you must first summon your familiars.
(Note: In this world, it's a must that kings have their own familiars. It's purpose is not only for self defense but also as servants.)
The dragon brought him to an altar surrounded by trees. Sakura, along with Maggie and Coppelia quietly followed. They didn't want to ruin anything so they controlled their excitement.
"Place your two summoning crystals on top of this altar and fill it with your magic power" the dragon politely requested.
Kazuki followed the dragon's instruction and the crystals started to glow. One was emitting white light while the other was shining in pitch black.
Mist formed around the two stones and two figures started to appear. They are gonna be Kazuki's future familiars.
