Chapter 66- Misunderstandings

After the spell was cancelled, Kazuki flew towards the castle and entered through Dread's window. And gave him a warm smile but Dread's response was unexpected. His eyes were filled with bloodlust as he pointed a spear towards Kazuki and also deployed a barrier around them. Kazuki was dumbfounded with the situation he was in. He thought that he would be welcomed since they became friends in their last meeting but perhaps he was wrong.

"Leave!" Dread shouted. Kazuki knows it was no joke because his eyes were filled with fear and seriousness.

Kazuki didn't say a word. Instead, he suppressed his aura and smiled at him. He also took out all his weapons and dropped them. Seeing his actions, Dread deemed him harmless and finally lowering his guard.

Dread sighed and pointed the chair beside them. Both of them sat down while Dread rang his bell and elven maids entered and brought them snacks and drinks. Kazuki took a sip while Dread sighed and asked, "What brings you here?"

Kazuki gently placed his cup down before suddenly yelling "Is that how you treat guests?!" like a child throwing a tantrum.

"To hell with that! I thought you were here to wage war!" Dread yelled back.

Outside, the maids heard yelling and crashing inside the room so they called guards over and barged into the room. To their surprise they saw Dread fighting with Kazuki like they were little children fighting over a toy.

The guards' jaws dropped and the maids immediately closed the door. They never expected that one day they would see their master acting like a kid.

The door in the room suddenly closed and Dread suddenly turned pale. He realized he forgot to lock the door. He was so embarrassed that roses grew in his head (literally). Kazuki noticed the roses and coughed. It was his first time seeing someone blush with roses.

He thinks he saw a scene like this in one of his video games in the past but he could no longer recall the title. Dread payed him no mind and started plucking the flowers from his head. Kazuki couldn't hold his laughter anymore and rolled on the floor laughing.
