Chapter ten

I put my hands up to make a cup the water stays in my hands then slowly goes down my arms. I hear the front door close I gasp and get out. I put the towel around me and run out to Keith. He looks at me and his face turns red.

"Keith! I must show you something rather amazing!" I yell jumping up and down. Keith grabs me to stop me and then quickly lets go.

"Dozi! Clothes!" He yells turning away. I groan and grab his hand running into the bathroom. I turn on the sink and put my hands under it showing Keith what I did in the shower. I turn around and see he's gone.

(Keith)

I put my hand over my mouth my face is so hot I feel like I have a fever. My hand is pounding and my hands are so sweaty. I lean my head back on the door to her room I close my eyes then take a slow deep breath. I feel her soft hands on my cheeks I open my eyes and stare into her eyes my heart beating faster.

"Dozi" I say choking on my words "Can you maybe go put on a onesie or something" I try to act as normal as I can but I can't. She looks at me confused for a moment then grabs one of her onesies. She goes into the bathroom I take a deep breath and slide down the wall.

"She's going to drive me crazy" I mumble rubbing the back of my head. I hear the door click open. I look up and see she's in her unicorn onesie. I grin a little then get up and hug her.

"Keith?" she asks looking up at me. I kiss her head and pick her up.

"What is it, princess?" I ask kissing her cheek softly.

(Dozi)

I stare at him then shake my head holding my tongue.

"It's nothing never mind I'm just tired," I say laying my head on him and closing my eyes. He sets me on the bed and pulls the blankets over me. I pretend to be asleep. When I hear the lamp turn off in the living room I know he'll be asleep soon. I get up and open the door a little. I can hear him snoring.

I grab a flashlight and leave through the back door that leads to the ocean. I sit on the sand and look up to the stars. Even though it's below freezing I stay out all night. I watch the sunrise and feel the warmth on my face.

(Keith)

I wake up and go to Dozi's room to grab my work stuff. I turn on the light and grab my stuff. I notice she didn't groan when I turned the light on. I turn around to see the bed is empty. My heart raises, I run around the house yelling her name.

I look everywhere turning the house upside down, it's as I feared, she left. I run outside and get in my car. I drive around and ask the police if they have seen her. Everyone has said no.

I drive home crying now, what was she thinking, I told her not to run away again.

"Damnit!" I yell slamming my hand on the wheel. I get home and go outside through the back door. There she is, sitting peacefully in the water watching the sunrise.

"Dozi!" I yell running to her and hugging her tightly. She looks surprised for a moment then she hugs me.

"What is it Keith?" She asks whipping the tears from my eyes.

"Damnit Dozi! Why didn't you leave or note! WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP!! DO YOU REALISE HOW WORRIED I WAS!!" I scream at her trying not to cry.

"Keith I-"

"No! Just shut up Dozi!" I grab her arm and drag her to the room. I lock every way to escape and lock her in there. I leave to work pissed off.

(Dozi)

I dang on the door for hours I hate tight spaces he always kept my door open a little so I didn't get scared. I scream his name and feel like the walls are closing in. I sit down in the middle of the floor screaming and crying. I reach in my pocket and pull out the shark tooth ring I made him.

"M-maybe he doesn't like me," I say sniffing and setting the ring down. I try to break the windows then I hear his car. I start screaming his name and crying more. The front door clicks and I hear his footsteps come to my door.

"Have you learned," Keith asks in a stern voice.

"Yes! Yes please let me out!" I scream banging on the door more. The door unlocks and I spring out drawing slow shaking breaths. My hands clench I throw the ring at him and stand up straight looking him in the eyes.

"That is what I was doing you jerk!" I yell stomping to the couch and sitting down.

"Wait...you were just making me this?" He asks looking at it.

"Yes! But you wouldn't let me talk!" I yell louder.
