The pain I hide

Maybe if I had told them they would still be here. I look at my reflection on the surface of the lake. It shows a girl that is short and looks that she is 5. I open my eyes the see a young girl older than me but still young. not a girl but a cat girl she has long red hair pulled back in a green ponytail she wears glasses her tail is out looks like a wolf.

"Hello." the girl said holding out her hand to help me up. I hesitate for a moment but then take it.

"Hi." I say back in a small voice worried that she might be a spy. she seems to take this into consideration and smiles. then both our heads dart up. The red eyes they're coming we look around both of us scared she grabs my hand and dragged me up a tree she puts her finger to her lips as a motion to stay quiet.
