First POV
Aizy walked into the classroom and everyone immediately went to their seats and quieted down, "Morning class."
"Good morning Mr.Aizawa!" the class said in unison while I just gave a two-finger salute in response.
"Today we're having a special hero informatics class." Aizy began.
The class tensed at his words. Why is everyone so stiff? Is it an activity? Maybe fighting again?
Aizy broke the silence, "Code names, you'll be coming up with hero names."
The whole class except me and Shouto stood up and exclaimed, "We're gonna do something exciting!"
Aizy's eyes glowed red and his hair floated as he activated his quirk. Effectively shutting them up. I chuckled to myself.
"This is related to the pro hero draft picks I mentioned the other day. The drafts begin in earnest in the second and third years, after students have gained experience and can become immediate assets to the pros. In other words, for them to extend offers to first years like you, shows that they are interested in your future potential. These offers are often canceled if that interest dies down by graduation."
"So we'll have to prove ourselves once we get picked, huh?" the invisible girl asked.
"That's correct. And here are the totals for those offers," Aizy clicked a button and a projection of everyone's scores. The top 3 were Shouto, pomeranian, and bird boy. Shouto with 4123 offers, pomeranian with 3556 offers, and bird boy with 360. Damn, I guess Sho and blondie really stole the show.
"In other years, it's been more spread out, but all eyes were on these two this year," he said with his thumb pointing at the top two names, "Keeping these results in mind, whether or not anyone asked for you, you will all be participating in internships with pros," he looked at me, "And Kurosaki don't get your hopes up, you're interning with me whether you like it or not."
I groaned and smirked as I leaned back into my seat. Knew it, the pros, especially Nezu, aren't stupid enough to give me that much freedom.
"Internships?" Izuku asked.
"Yes. At USJ you already got to experience combat with real villains, but it will still be meaningful training for you to see pros at work firsthand. While these hero names are still temporary if you're not serious about it-"
He was cut off by Midnight who barged into the class, "Or you'll have hell to pay later!"
She walked in and many of the dudes drooled or blushed, "Because a lot of hero names used by students become recognized by society, they end up becoming professional hero names!"
Aizy sighed, "Midnight will be making sure your names are okay, since I can't do stuff like that. When you give yourself a name, you get a more concrete image of what you want to be like in the future and you can get closer to it. This is what it means when they say, "Names and natures do often agree" like "All Might" for example."
Everyone was given a small whiteboard and a black dry erase marker.
I opened my marker and wrote on the board. I didn't really need to think of a name since I was called Zavage, but I doubt that that would be a good hero name. I wrote down something simple and I decided that my hero name will simply be "Z".
Aizy curled up in his sleeping bag and went to sleep, but not before he shot me a glare saying "Don't try it, I know."
I glared back playfully at him and mouthed, I know I know. After a couple of minutes, Midnight spoke again, "Okay, let's start presenting names starting with those who are ready. (a/n: yeah I'm too lazy to write out the whole scene so deal with it) (other a/n: GAHAHAAHHAHA mood)
The names went like this:
Aoyama- The Shining Hero: Can't Stop Twinkling
Asui- The Raining Season Hero: Froppy
Kirishima- The Sturdy Hero: Red Riot
Jiro- The Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack
Shoji- The Tentacle Hero: Tentacole
Sero- The Taping Hero: Cellophane
Ojiro- The Martial Arts Hero: Tailman
Sato- The Sweets Hero: Sugarman
Ashido- The Alien Hero: Pinky
Kaminari- The Charge + Lightning Hero: Chargebolt
Hagakure- The Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl
Yaoyorozu- The Everything Hero: Creati
Shouto- The Half and Half Hero: Shouto
Tokoyami- The Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi
Shinsou- The Brainwashing Hero: Hijack
Koda- The Petting Hero: Anima
Uraraka- The Gravity Hero: Uravity
Iida- The Sonic Hero: Tenya
Bakugou- The Explosion Hero: Ground Zero
Midoriya- The Strength Hero: Deku
"Ok, all that's left is Kurosaki. Could you please come up and present your name?" Midnight asked me.
I nodded and walked up to the front of the class, "The Cunning Hero: Z"
Denki and Izuku gave me a thumbs up while Shouto nodded.
"Wonderful!" Midnight squealed.
I plugged my ears with my fingers. I didn't need a headache for her squeaky voice. You know what no I would hate that.
"Now that everyone's decided on their hero names, we'll go back to talking about the internships," Aizy said as he dragged himself out of his sleeping bag, "They will last for a week. As for where you'll have them, those who had offers from pros will be given your own lists, so you can choose from those yourself. Those who didn't have offers will choose from among forty agencies around the country that will be accepting our interns. They all work in different places and have different specialties."
"For example, Thirteen would be focussed on rescues from accidents and disasters more than fighting villains," Midnight explained.
"Think carefully before you choose."
Everyone yelled, "Yes, sir!" in unison, while I nodded crossing my arms in front of my chest.
Quickly everyone began looking over their own lists or starting thinking about who they would intern for. I groaned, this was seriously so boring.
As I scanned the classroom, my eyes made contact with Aizy's as he moved his head as a signal for me to come forward. I obliged and got out of my seat, walking up to the two.
"Sup, what do you two want?"
"Since I don't have a hero agency for you to train at, you will continue to stay here at UA and we will meet in the teacher's lounge every day for me to give you instructions," Aizawa said with a blank expression. Seems like he's not too happy about the arrangements either, probably cause it gives him extra work.
Midnight smiled, "Your hero costume will be sent to your dorm room by Friday so you better be looking forward to it!"
I smiled back and nodded. My last "costume" was pretty plain and most of the stuff I used was either built or stolen, so having a custom made costume was definitely exciting.
The bell began to rang as Aizawa made one more announcement, "Turn in your choices before the weekend and make your decision efficiently. Dismissed."
After the class having a bit of a freak out of only having two days to decide, everyone went back to the dorms.
