Shattered

'I can't believe I ever trusted her. I loved a lady who is evil and wicked hearted, a lady bold enough to murder my mother.'

'I will never love a woman in my life, never!' Bruno said to himself amidst tears as the guards continued the whipping session. 

After the whipping session, his dead mother's body was dragged on the floor towards a carriage. The guards carried and lifted the blood bleeding corpse into the carriage. 

After which they tied Bruno up and carried him into a separate carriage and headed to the location the Queen ordered them to go. 

Bruno cried all the way to the forest he was about to be killed. He wondered if his late mother would get a proper burial, at where they were headed to.

Back at the palace, the royal doctor attended to the princess, Emilia, who was still in shock after seeing a bleeding corpse besides her.
