While Bruno was still in the Redmine forest, a group of soldiers found him and their king instructed that he be brought. 

"He looks bright but injured. I can take him as a son and a prince in the kingdom. 

The king urged that they all left that moment but Bruno begged that the king spare a few minutes to draft out a letter for Jade. 

He wrote the letter and dropped it on the bed. 

After dropping the letter on the bed, he reached out for the pill in his garment and threw it in his mouth. 

As he entered the carriage and stared back at the hut, he felt bad that he couldn't bid his life saver a proper goodbye before leaving.

After leaving the princess's room, Jade set out for the Redmine forest to see Bruno.
