Chapter 33

Third-person POV (happened just after Anastasia's wet dream)

As soon as Scarlett woke up, she saw Margrett's apartment's ceiling. Who the heck put her in here? She was studying while sitting on the chair and had slept on it after a few chapters. 'I guess Margrett or Anna had picked her up.' She looked around to see a note just beside her pillow. She turned to the side, stretched her arms, and clenched her butt like having a seizure.

The note said Margie and Anna were going to eat, but Margie had frozen food. Anna didn't like it and scolded her for eating ice-like food. Now they are on the way to a grocery store and would come back in an hour or two. She wondered who was Margie and at the end of the paper, Anna mentioned she made a new nickname for Margret. Angie sounded weird according to her. Scarlett nodded. Agreed and approved.

She rubbed her eyes as she walked towards the bathroom. She did her morning routine and came out. She plopped on the bed and stared at the wall. She kept on making stories and daydreaming about her characters until she heard the door open.

Margie and Anna were arguing again, but this time they had bags filled with food in their arms. She went out of the room and they both stopped arguing.

She tilted her head, thinking why did they stop arguing suddenly. She shrugged. If she ever knew the reason. And their pain. Of being lectured so much. They could write her whole lecture, she imprinted it in their minds. AAAH~! A nightmare!

"Alright! What should I make for breakfast?"

-----------

In the past few days, Scarlett felt the atmosphere changed around them. Margie's sunny, charming aura had become an empty one. Her face had a smile around them, but it looks like she was all alone. Her aura felt like missing someone, like a loved one.

She had seen that look a lot of times, like during her (Margie's) birthday, when they were at a park, filled with children, families, couples, and people with their friends. Even on this day, like in mid-June. Did her cat die on that day?

Anastasia became more snappy somehow. She was snappy before. But this time, it annoyed her. They had silly arguments, which somehow made her laugh after a few minutes. Margie smiled or let out a laugh sometimes, at least she smiled. There was even this one time where she couldn't help but slap her forehead.

Anna forgot this one song, but she remembered only the starting. She asked her which song started with a twang. Scarlett didn't remember it, so she didn't answer. Five seconds later, it started playing on the speaker, "THAT WAS THE SONG I SAID!" *slaps forehead*

Scarlett asked Anna if she feels that Margie was depressed. Anna answered that by saying, "even if she is depressed, it'll eventually wear off. And I don't care." Scarlett got annoyed by her response and didn't want to argue, so she ended the conversation with a good night.
