Chapter 1

Soon Scarlett slowly started noticing everything about Anastasia. Like hey, she did notice everything about her before but now it was ... kind of attractive to her.

Like the stupid noises and faces, she makes while she was on a video call with her twin sisters. Those noises could be heard even if the door was closed. It just showed how much she cared about her siblings.

Also her laugh. She said it was ugly to hear, but it was really contagious. And the way she just smiled it just became a gummy smile, and it was so adorable! Like Scarlett might burst the biggest fattest uwu.

The way she sometimes behaved like a crackhead also was adorable. It was a rare thing for her to be a crackhead at times, and it was so funny and cute in Scarlett's eyes.

She even learned how to cook now also was kind of shocking to Scarlett. Like before, she could light the kitchen on fire by accident, but now she's like some expert. That Scarlett found as hot and very impressive of Anastasia.

Wait, what?

The more she was around Anastasia, the more she wanted to spend more time with her. She enjoyed her company a lot, but now she wanted to be with her more.

But once Scarlett was eavesdropping at Anastasia's conversation with her twin sisters, she heard something interesting.

"Big sister! When are you going to confess to your crush?"

"What the hell are you speaking about?!"

"Big sister, we know you like her. A lot. Stop thinking we are still babies."

"Sheesh, you two brats have grown too fast. Anyway, I don't know if she'll say yes or no. She has dated only men before and is still attracted to them, I guess? I really don't know if she likes me as well."

Scarlett's heart skipped a beat at hearing this. Who is she talking about? So she has a crush on someone now? Scarlett should be feeling happy for her, but why is she having a little weight on her chest?

What is this feeling?

To add more to her worries Anastasia was spending more time with her sister and Avery, and less with Scarlett. Like they would be gone early in the morning and come home late at night. It worried her for no reason.

Were they going to Anastasia's crush's place? Are those two helping Anastasia to win over her crush? At that thought, Anastasia's assistant came to her mind. Althea was really pretty and outgoing.

That thought left a bitter taste in her mouth.

(A/n: uhh Avery and Anastasia have resolved the entire thing, and they agreed that Avery wouldn't cross their boundaries and vice versa.)

No, she was just being clingy. She's just afraid they replace her with that assistant of Anastasia's. It's okay, they won't do something like that.

But no! It felt they were slowly replacing her! It made her feel that all of them were going to replace with that assistant bi- I mean girl, especially Anastasia. She must be so happy around her then.

Then she realized that she liked Anastasia that way. Like, like like.

Scarlett panicked about it, and slowly, she started to distance herself from them. Especially Anastasia. She would give half answers to them or weird excuses, leaving them confused in her attitude. Soon it was as if she wasn't there at all. Just a person staying there.

And someone was pissed and mad about this.

Okay, one, Anastasia and that team of Cassandra's have been spending time trying to find the actual killer. Even if they might have arrested their maternal cousin; who knows, someone else might be the actual killer. But they still hadn't left the suspicion on him.

Which led to her not spending more time with Scarlett; even if she wanted to apologize, she couldn't. There was less time, and she couldn't go around apologizing for a while. They had a killer on the loose.

But it's been a month since Scarlett's being distant with her, especially her. With the rest of the people in the house, she would at least say hi. Good morning, and stuff like that. But she hasn't said a word nor even spared a glance at her for a freaking month and Anastasia's annoyed.

So there she was, knocking on Scarlett's door to get an answer about the silent treatment. "Yeah! I'm coming!"

She heard from the other side and it opened after a few seconds. Emotionlessly, Scarlett stared at her. "Oh, it's you. What do you want?"

"I want an answer about why you have been distant with me for the past one month."

"Why do you care?"

What the hell? What is she even saying? "Yes, I do care. I'm missing my friend who shouts at Avery when they cheat in monopoly. I miss you irritating me to wake me up. Why are you so distant nowadays?" She asked as she closed the door and came inside.

Scarlett rolled her eyes and folded her arms. "Well, you should have thought that when you suddenly started to go out, ignoring me!"

What the hell? "I'm not ignoring you! I've been going out for a reason!"

"What reason?"

"That… I can't tell you about it."

Scarlett sighed. "It's your crush, right?"

"Wha-"

"You and those two have been hanging out with your crush for the past one month to make her fall in love with you. Alright, I get it!"

"What? Let me explain!"

"It's already explained! I get it okay?"

"Ugh! You're not letting me explain!"

"Then what is the reason?"

"Look, whatever reason you're thinking right now is not true. We three have been going out because… we've been going out for the collaboration finding a nice place for it."

"Then why have you been taking Avery?"

"Ask Cassandra, I don't get it either."

"Oh… then who is your crush that you were talking about a few days ago?"

Anastasia blushed. "Uhh it's… uhh fuck it, I'll show you."

Then we finally got our moment. Not exactly that moment, but they nearly did. Anastasia kissed Scarlett's cheeks. Just an innocent peck on her cheeks for a few seconds. "Wha?" Scarlett blinked.

"It's you, idiot! You are my crush. Please don't reject me." Anastasia hugged Scarlett and five seconds later, she felt her shoulder getting wet. She looked down and saw Scarlett crying. "Whoa! Why are you crying?"

"I thought (sniff) I thought it was some girl who was your type and was probably your crush. And I really like you and I thought you were crushing on your assistant."

Anastasia cringed. "What?! Eww! My assistants like my little sister. That coconut is already engaged to one of the higher-ups in my company."

"Oh… okay. That was embarrassing."

"So anyway, Scarlett, will you go out with me?"

Scarlett nodded, and Anastasia hugged her tighter. "Yay."
