A Way To See Colors

The necklace she was wearing was exactly the same as the one in her mother's photo. The design, the shape, and the color level were the same. Is it possible... this is her mother's necklace? Is it possible that Vincent put them on while she was sleeping?

Cathy grabbed the necklace around her neck and rubbed it with her thumb. Her eyes filled with tears as she realized she had another legacy from her mother.

Cathy immediately wiped her tears when she heard a ring from her new phone. Her lips filled a smile, and her heart filled with warmth when she saw a name on her cellphone screen.

"Vincent..." Cathy greeted impatiently. "When did you give me my mother's necklace?" there was a crisp laugh on the other end.

"Oh, you noticed?"

"You, really. Until when did you feel satisfied to make me surprised and happy?"

"When it comes to that, I'll never be satisfied, Cath. You are my reason for living, and I always want to make you happy."
