"Wait. Do you have a crush on me? Sorry, Kenta… I'm flattered but-"

"Not that kind of crush you infidel. It isn't a romantic crush. It's more like… I admired your strength and achievements." I said, still glaring at the smirking Ami.

"Oh." Was the lame reply.

I turned my full attention to Kakashi. "Genin at five, Chunin at six, Jonin at ten. You also created an A-Rank assassination technique at the same age. Your mission record is drool-worthy. Overall, you were my inspiration for most of my career. There." I turned to Ami. "Happy?"

"My early career isn't something to be emulated or congratulated," Kakashi said lowly.

I snorted. "Oh please. You lost your teammates in the war and blamed yourself. I know all the details. I know why you were so hard on me and why you always called me out if my ego got too big. Your ego got you that scar, which led to your first teammate's death. However, he made the choice to save you. It wasn't your fault. Rin's death wasn't your fault. Everything I've heard from the people who know the truth is that she intentionally jumped in front of your technique to protect Konoha. If you ask me, blaming yourself for her death is kind of insulting to such an honorable sacrifice." I glanced at Kakashi, gauging his reaction to my words. I had to do a lot of digging to get all these details.

Kakashi sighed. "You're most likely right. But now isn't the time or place to discuss this. We have some invaders to slaughter."

I blinked, not at all expecting such a mellow reply. "I'm right?"

Kakashi turned his single onyx eye on me. "I opened up to some friends after some encouragement from Naruto. The kid will never be a poet or an author, but he has a unique way of seeing the world."

I simply nodded. That might be an understatement. "Well, if you ever need a professional to talk to, let me know. My clan is kind of known for helping people with PTSD and depression."

Kakashi, in another surprising move just simply nodded. I shook myself out of my stupor and turned back to the large construct created by Lord Fifth.

"Kakashi. Tell Honoka to remove the barrier. It will only hinder our forces at this point." Lord Fifth suddenly called out. Kakashi saluted and disappeared. Moments later, the barrier around the village winked out of existence. "Kenta. Find my brother. End the traitor's life."

"I've been here the whole time, brother." Sasuke drawled from the wall he was leaning against.

"I thought you'd be down there in the middle of the entire battle, little brother," Itachi said in a warm voice.

"I trust our troops. I also want to see you in action."

Itachi nodded. "You can stay for a few minutes, then you and Kenta kill that traitor. He will not escape the Leaf's justice this time."

Sasuke nodded and leaned back against the pillar. It was at this time I noticed the second spike in chakra. I glanced down at Onoki at the same time as he fired off another 'Particle Style' cube.

It raced forward towards Lord Fifth. Itachi sighed, his Susanoo bringing its left arm up in front of the body like it was holding a shield. I blinked as a shield literally appeared out of nowhere. The cube expanded and made contact with the shield. Instantly, Onoki's attack sputtered out of existence. I glanced down, cackling loudly at the gobsmacked expression on the small Kage's face.

"The Yata Mirror is a special object. It is endowed with all five chakra natures. This allows me to change the characteristics of the shield to match any attack. The Particle Style is a Gekkai Tota, combining fire, earth, and wind nature chakras. With this mirror, Onoki has no chance of defeating me." Lord Fifth explained to all of us still on the ramparts.

"Brother, that's amazing…" Sasuke said in awe. I couldn't help but agree with him. Yup, definitely number one.

"Now go, all of you. You have your targets, take them out. Genma, go help our troops. S-Rank are considered army killers; show our enemies why that is true."

Genma smirked, unsealing Kubikiribōchō. "With pleasure, Lord Fifth." And he vanished. A second later, the roar of his signature 'Fire Flash' attack could be heard.

"Kakashi" Lord Fifth said just as Kakashi landed back in his original spot. "Go with Ami and Sakura to take down Orochimaru. I think them both fully capable, but Orochimaru showed a new ability with those crystals of his. I would hate to lose to up and coming kunoichi to his underhanded tactics."

Kakashi nodded and smiled at the two girls. "Shall we… what were you two saying? 'Brass some balls?' I think that's what I heard."

"Or ovaries! We aren't picky." Ami chirped while Sakura giggled.

"Right… Well then, let's go." Kakashi said and vanished. Both girls following his lead with bloodthirsty grins in place.

"Yamanaka. If you don't move your ass, I'll kill the wrinkly bastard before you can tear your eyes away from my brother's rear." Sasuke called out.

"Okay, one. Who in this day and age says rear? Two, I can't help it. It's a nice rear." I cackled as Sasuke's face flushed.

"Whatever." He mumbled. "Let's go."

"Don't worry Sasuke. You're still the only man for me!" I called out to his quickly retreated form.

I chuckled once more, gathering the chakra in my legs.

"Kenta." Lord Fifth called out. I turned towards my village leader, dread pooling in my gut. I may have forgotten he could hear me saying he has a nice rear. Shit.

"Thank you." He said.

I blinked. "For…? Saying you have a nice rear? Sorry if that was inappropriate, sir. I hope you know I was just teasing Sasuke."

Itachi chuckled as his mirror absorbed another 'Particle Style' technique. "Well, that too, I guess. No, I'm thanking you for being such a good friend to my brother. You bring out the best in him by treating him no differently than anyone else. He is lucky to have you, the same way I was lucky enough to have Shisui."

I breathed a sigh of relief at not getting chewed out. "Sasuke's a good guy. He always has been. He's just had a rough past. I'll continue to torment him until the day I die. You have no worries about that, Lord Itachi."

"Good. Now, go bring justice to your brother's clan and mine." Itachi ordered, serious face back on.

I grinned. "With pleasure."

*********************************ITACHI GOT A LIL BOOTY********************************

I dashed out the hole in the wall, quick on Sasuke's heels. I glanced around and smiled in pride. Our troops were holding their own against the overwhelming odds. I stopped dead in my tracks, noticing Kiba for the first time.

He was surrounded by six enemies. I diverted my course, Sasuke could deal with Danzo until I got there.

"Give up, Konoha trash! If you swear fealty to that Danzo guy you get to live. You can't win six on one!" Random Oto called out.

Kiba simply shot the man a wolfish grin. "I'm never alone. Not anymore. Ready, Akamaru?"

I frowned in confusion, still not seeing Akamaru anywhere.

"Inuzuka Secret Technique: Man-Beast Takeover!"

I skid to stop, my jaw dropping to the ground. I watched as Kiba's entire figure began to change. His legs lengthen, the joints popping and cracking; his arms doing the same. Hair began to sprout from every inch of skin. Within moments, where Kiba once stood, a wolf-human hybrid now towered over the six men surrounding him.

"Holy fuck," I whispered. "HOLY FUCK!"

Kiba growled lowly once and vanished. A second later, the six men were lying dead on the ground, their throats completely tore out. Kiba reappeared, his snow-white muzzle dyed crimson.

"That was impressive, Kiba!" I called out, raising my arm in greeting.

His golden irises snapped in my direction. It only took him a second to realize who had called out to him and lips fell back down after peeling back in warning. He simply nodded his acknowledgment.

"So, that's where Akamaru is. In there." I pointed to his chest. "I'm right, aren't I?"

Kiba nodded silently again.

"Well, if he can hear me, I miss you, Akamaru. Your puppy kisses were one of my favorite things and you smelled much better than your master." I laughed as Kiba's lips had pulled back in a snarl once more. "Anyway, I have a traitor to execute. Whatever… that is," I made a general motion about his entire appearance. "You're going to have to explain it to me, then we'll spar. I gotta show you I'm still the alpha."

Kiba showed his teeth in what I was assuming was a wolf smile and nodded vigorously at that.

"I'm assuming you can't talk while like this?"

Kiba shook his head this time.

"Figures. Well, have fun! Go slaughter more invaders!" I called over my shoulder as I was already in a dead sprint to where I felt Sasuke's chakra.

******************************Kiba is a BEAST, LITERALLY**********************************

"Where did that snake slither off to?" Sakura wondered out loud.

Ami stopped and placed her hands to the ground, closing her eyes.

"What are you doing, Ami?"

"Sensing. This is how I do it. I can feel the vibrations in the ground and pinpoint a chakra signature if they're touching the dirt." Ami said off-handedly.

"That's amazing! Such a unique way of sensing." Sakura said in eagerness.

Ami opened her eyes and grinned. "Thank you. Kenta doesn't appreciate my talents. He's the de facto sensor, so I never get to show off my sensing abilities. Anyway, I have a lock. Shall we skin a snake?"

Sakura nodded and shot off after Ami. Minutes later, they came to a halt.

"There you are, Snake. Are you ready to die?" Ami called out.

Orochimaru turned and grinned brightly. "Why, if it isn't my little Anko's protégé! Oh! And my former student, Sakura! What a pleasant surprise. You're just in time!"

"In time for what, Orochimaru?" Sakura growled out, eyes narrowed in hatred.

"Manners, Sakura. I was just about to slaughter all the Konoha Shinobi in the clearing. I have been locking onto their signatures for a nifty little technique I developed. Are you ready to watch?" Orochimaru laughed in delight.

Ami extended her arms, dozens of snakes erupted from her sleeves barreling towards the Snake Sannin. Orochimaru easily batted them away.

"Hm. It seems I'll have to dispose of the two of you before you'll let me have my fun. Oh well. This will be a good warm-up." Orochimaru's yellow eyes locked onto Sakura. "Actually, I think I want to have fun with Anko's pet before I deal with you, traitorous little girl." He held up a single arm in a half ram seal, grin stretching widely as he stared Sakura down.

Moments later, he frowned. "What is this? Why are you not writhing on the ground?"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Sakura asked in confusion.

"Your curse seal. I added a component similar the Hyuga's caged bird seal. Activating it should make your entire nervous system flare up in pain."

Sakura smirked, reaching for the collar of her turtle neck. She pulled the fabric down to show off her curse seal to Orochimaru. "Did I forget to mention? Sasuke and I got some minor adjustments thanks to the Uzumaki Clan."

Orochimaru scowled at seeing his masterpiece violated in such a way. Where once there was a perfectly symmetrical piece of art that depicted the three tomoe of his creation, there now stood only a single abomination.

"You have defiled my gift. I will enjoy watching you suffer." Orochimaru hissed in agitation. EVERYTHING he made was perfection, and this little girl ruined it!

Sakura let go of her collar, the inky black flower petals slowly dancing along her exposed skin.

"I've always wanted a snakeskin wallet." She growled right back.

Orochimaru stared her down for a few more minutes before his eyes lit up. "Oh, Sakura! I've just realized! It wasn't until I saw your traitorous face that I remembered I didn't even let my pet out to play! Thank you for that. I will only slightly torture you now before I kill you."

"What pet? Also, the traitor calling me a traitor is priceless. You're losing your wits in your old age." Sakura shot back.

"This one." Orochimaru withdrew a transportation scroll and with a burst of chakra its contents spilled to the floor. Orochimaru disappeared into the conjured cloud of smoke. "Release." His voice echoed throughout the clearing.

Sakura knit her brow in concentration, trying to see what surprise Orochimaru had this time.

"What? Where am I?" A very familiar voice softly said from within the smoke.

Sakura's heart sank.

A burst of chakra and gust of wind later revealed Orochimaru kneeling beside a disoriented looking Jugo. "We're in Konoha, young Jugo. Look around you. Take a deep breath. What do you smell? Yessssssssss. The smell of blood is in the air. The sounds of battle are all around you. Give in, Jugo. Go berserk."

"I'LL KILL EVERYONE!"Jugo's crazed laughter called out as his erratic bloodline instantly took over as he realized the violence around him.

Sakura blinked away tears. "You monster! You animal! Jugo doesn't want to hurt anyone! Why do you make him do this!?"

Orochimaru laughed in glee at Sakura's tears. Jugo noticed the two girls and began to race towards them at a rapid pace. He stopped suddenly, gaze noticing the thousands of men and women fighting in the distance. He abandoned his course and took off to where more victims could be found.

"Ami, I have to stop him. I'm the only one who can. It shouldn't take long. Can you hold him off until I get back?" Sakura asked, blinking rapidly and wiping at her eyes.

"Of course, dear. I'll most likely have his balls or ovaries drying in the sun by the time you return. Go after your friend, make sure he doesn't kill anyone. Off with you now." Ami said, shooing Sakura away.

Sakura bit her lip, eyes darting between her friend and the quickly disappearing form of Jugo.

"Go on, Sakura. I'll fill in for you." Kakashi said, appearing next to his student. Sakura let out a choked laugh.

"I forgot you were ordered to watch from a distance, Captain. Thank you." And with that, Sakura took off after Jugo. The second stage of her seal activating as she quickly closed the distance.

"GET BACK HERE, JUGO! CHA!"

Ami giggled and Sakura's change in demeanor before locking eyes with Kakashi. "I meant what I said. I don't need backup. I only agreed to fight him with Sakura because I know she holds a grudge."

"Kenta's cockiness is rubbing off on you, I see," Kakashi said nonchalantly.

Ami snorted. "Not at all. I just know that Orochimaru has been severely weakened recently." Her gaze turned towards the Sannin. "Isn't that right, Ex Snake Summoner?"

Orochimaru scowled at being called out. "That clan was worthless to me anyway. The Great Snake Sage wouldn't grant me the power of Sages. They never trusted me."

"Of course not. The Snake Clan is powerful and honorable. They were tired of you tarnishing their name. They were once as respected in Konoha as the Toads and Slugs; now they're hated almost as much as The Kyubi." Ami said, anger lacing her voice for the first time.

"It matters not. I have gained new powers with my newest body and…" His golden eyes seemed to glow with power momentarily. "I have achieved true immortality."

Ami yawned. "Blah, blah. Immortal or not, I'm sure you still feel pain." She grinned savagely at the man. "If you truly are immortal, then I can practice my torture techniques on you as long as I want once you're sitting in a cell in T&I. By the way, is the new body male or female?"

"Why does it matter?" Orochimaru asked in suspicion.

"The preparation process to brass ovaries and testicles is vastly different. We want to give Anko your brass genitals on a plague for her baby shower." Ami said, a vicious smile still in place.

Orochimaru's eyes lit up. "Anko is with child? Wonderful. I've always wanted to test my curse seal on a newborn. If they survive, I will have to document their growth through the years…" Orochimaru cut off. His eyes slowly turning towards the silver-haired man standing next to Ami. His hands were in his pockets, his usual slouched posture had not changed. However, the hatred and malice rolling off of him would make Kyubi proud.

"Oh? Does the Hatake brat not like the thought of experimenting on newborns? I must confess, infant stem cells are marvelous things. Many consider them-"Orochimaru cut off, glancing down at the arm elbow-deep in his chest.

"I sincerely hope you are immortal. I'm going to enjoy breaking you, over and over again, until your mind shatters." Kakashi growled out, Mangekyō Sharingan boring straight into Orochimaru's very soul.

"Did I forget to mention? Kakashi is the dad." Ami chirped from behind Kakashi.

Orochimaru coughed, torrents of blood cascading down his front. Kakashi withdrew his hand and sent a crushing kick upside Orochimaru's skull. The Sannin was sent rocketing away at a breakneck pace, crashing into a nearby boulder hard enough to shatter the granite.

"Get up, Snake. We're just getting started." Kakashi snarled.

Orochimaru rose shakily to his feet, attempting to clear the cobwebs from his mind. He glanced down and smiled in satisfaction as the hole in his chest was already nearly closed. He began to laugh in insane glee. "I truly am immortal! Quake in fear, mortals! I am immortal! I am God! I am-"Orochimaru cut off once more, glancing down at the tree trunk thick spear of earth that had pierced his entire abdomen. He coughed once more, the front side of his Obi now saturated in crimson blood.

Ami met his hateful glare with her own slightly insane smile. "Perfect. I have half a dozen poisons that need testing. You'll do nicely."

*********************************Orochimaru is fuccckkkedd******************************

"About time you caught up." Sasuke drawled as he raced across the ground.

I snorted. "Sorry, but I just watched Kiba turn into a fucking wolf and slaughter six shinobi in the blink of an eye. It was quite impressive."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow at that. "So, Kiba isn't worthless anymore. That's good to know."

I frowned at that. "Kiba was never worthless. He's one of the best trackers in the village already from what I've heard."

"It was a joke, Kenta. I know that every clan and shinobi has its strengths and weaknesses. At least now Kiba can back up all the shit-talking he's known for." Sasuke said, rolling his eyes.

"Oh, excuse me. Sorry I couldn't tell that you told a joke, seeing as how your sense of humor doesn't exist."

We continued to bicker back and forth as we quickly closed the distance between our target.

"Stop. He's just ahead." I said suddenly, cutting off Sasuke's latest rant about my gorgeous hair.

We came to a halt, standing across from Danzo who had his back turned to us.

"I was wondering who would be given the task of confronting me. I must say, sending two children to fight me only deepens my convictions that Konoha has grown soft." Danzo called out as he turned towards us. Neither of us took the bait though.

I snorted. "Nice try, you dirty fossil. You and I both know that either of us could take you on. Together, you're fucked."

Danzo's face pinched slightly. "The folly of youth is always their downfall. You two may be strong for this day and age, but when I was your age you would barely register as Chunin. Konoha has grown lax and weak since Sarutobi began his rein. It disgusts me what we consider shinobi these days."

"The only weak one here is you, Shimura. You pull strings from the shadows, toss human lives away to further your own goals. You use people for your selfish desires. That is not strength. That is the epitome of weak. A real leader does not hide behind their subordinates. He leads and guides them and stands side by side with them in times of crisis." Sasuke said, Sharingan eyes spinning hypnotically.

Danzo sighed heavily. "We can stand here and talk about ideals and morals all day and night. You will never change my mind, and I see that Sarutobi's brainwashing worked splendidly on you two."

I snarled. "The only person who resorts to such a disgusting tactic is you. Your men have no free will. They are living puppets for you to play with."

"You are wrong. They are tools that I forged in the fires of battle with my own hands. They are the perfect shinobi. I will show you how strong my blades are, Kenta Yamanaka." Danzo made a motion with his free hand and a figure stepped out of the shadows of the trees. "This is Fuu Yamanaka. I know that you two met earlier this morning. It is a shame that he and I both underestimated you. However, I know that you are weak-hearted. You won't be able to kill your brother." He turned towards Fuu. "Kill him while I deal with the Uchiha."

Fuu nodded and blitzed forward. Sasuke tensed and his hand closed around the sword at his back in an instant. I smirked and held up my hand, halting his motion. Fuu was mere feet away now. He brought both hands together in a hand seal. When he was mere feet from me, he stopped, spun on his heel, and faced Danzo.

"Water Release: Water Fang Bullet!" Fuu said, firing the technique at his former master. The water technique raced forward at impressive speeds. Danzo didn't move a single muscle. A second shadow shot out of the gloom of the forest and took the attack head-on. It tore through the person's body with little resistance. Danzo held up a hand as the now weakened technique continued towards him. The air in front of him shimmered. The technique hit the conjured shield and burst into thousands of water droplets.

"You would betray me, Fuu?" Danzo said in a flat voice.

"I apologize, Lord Danzo. Kenta is my brother. I will not harm him. I will fight you to the death to protect him." Fuu said.

I stepped up beside my brother and glanced over, taking in every detail of his face. His face was chiseled and his cheekbones were very prominent.

I smiled widely, realizing we shared very similar features. He was even slightly less pasty than the rest of our clan.

"How the fuck did you end up with that hair color and those eyes?" I blurted out on seeing them up close.

Fuu looked at me in shock. I noticed with a childish glee that I was taller than my older brother. I walked in front of him and leaned down slightly. "Hmmm. I guess the orange hair could be explained. Mom has brown hair, dad has blonde. But those eyes? Teal and Brown do NOT make yellow." I nodded to myself as if that was the actual answer.

"I… um… I do not know." Fuu said awkwardly.

I waved him away. "A mystery to solve on another day. Genetics is a finicky and tricky subject to ponder when there's so much bloodlust in the air. Perhaps a relative on mother's side also had yellow eyes. We will discover those mysteries another day. Now, we have a traitor to kill." I turned back towards the old mummy and sneered.

"Torune," Danzo said. A third shadow landed beside Danzo, kneeling. "Kill the traitor to our cause. I will deal with these two."

"Of course, Lord Danzo." This Torune said in a low voice. He locked eyes with my brother. They both nodded and vanished. Their chakra signatures quickly fading further away.

"There will be no more interruptions. I will kill you both and parade your heads around the village for all to see. Those who do not conform will be destroyed." Danzo called over to us.

"The only one dying today, is you, fucker," I whispered in his ear, the afterimage I left behind fading to shadows. I slashed my lightning coated hand directly at the man's neck. I felt the surprise and shock from his chakra, and that was all. His head rolled to the ground as his body collapsed.

"That was anti-climactic," I said, looking down at the corpse.

"What the hell, Yamanaka. We were supposed to kill him together!" Sasuke cried out childishly.

I stuck my tongue out before my eyes widened in shock. I flickered away, hissing in pain at the deep cut on the back of my arm.

"What the hell. I killed you! I know that wasn't a clone!" I snarled. I turned towards where the body was and gasped as it simply seemed to fade away into nothing.

"Are you sure about that?" Danzo drawled, flicking my blood off his index and middle fingers.

I instantly began to feel my chakra.

Nothing.

It wasn't an illusion.

I stared warily at the man, realizing this may not be as easy as I thought. I pulled out a small kit from my pack, sighing in relief as I applied a paste of Fú's creation to my wound. It was made with her healing strings, so the results were quick.

"Maybe now you won't try to do everything yourself. Let's attack him, together this time." Sasuke said getting my attention.

I nodded. "You're right. Lord Third didn't label Danzo S-Rank out of spite. Do it."

Sasuke nodded and vanished, appearing in Danzo's blindspot, his chokuto already dancing with lightning. He brought the sword down in a blindingly fast slash. Danzo spun quickly on his heels, catching the sword between the same two fingers. The wind coating his own hands dissipating the lightning chakra. I flickered, appearing on the opposite side, lightning racing along my kunai. I stabbed forward, driving the blade deep into his side. I felt the metal easily pass through his ribcage. I smiled in victory as the entire kunai was driven into his chest until barely any of it could be seen.

Danzo coughed violently, torrents of blood leaking from his mouth. A punctured lung and a destroyed heart would make anyone cough.

I flickered back, Sasuke doing the same. We stared emotionlessly as the man fell to the ground. I turned to Sasuke, a smile on my face, mouth opening in congratulations.

I grabbed the boy by his collar and flickered away just as the earth we were just occupying erupted in deadly winds. I glanced at the spot where the body lay, eyes widening as it was gone.

"Sasuke. What the hell is going on? That wasn't an illusion. We both know it." I hissed in his ear as Danzo stepped back into the clearing, not a hair out of place.

"I don't know, Kenta. However, my eyes will discover the truth!" He said as his Sharingan spun rapidly.

"You better, or one of these times I'm not going to be fast enough," I said gravely.

Sasuke nodded and brought his sword up in a defensive stance. I stood slightly behind him, mind working a mile a minute. We would figure out this trick.

We had to.

***********************************Uh oh*********************************************

"Onoki, is your desire for revenge so consuming that you risk the lives of your troops?" Itachi asked as he dodged a series of punches from the diminutive Kage.

"Of course it is! That man slaughtered over one-hundred of my strongest shinobi, including my son, in seconds! He is a demon!" Onoki growled. He smiled in satisfaction as his rock coated fist made a direct impact with Itachi's stomach. His smile became a growl as Itachi once again burst into a murder of crows.

Itachi reappeared, shaking his head. "That eye should have never existed."

"What are you talking about, boy?" Onoki snarled.

"Now that I am so close to you, I can feel his chakra in your system," Itachi said sadly.

"Who?! Are you saying I'm under an illusion? Oh please, I've been around long enough to not get trapped in some simple illusion."

"That is exactly what I am saying. However, this is no simple illusion. It is the strongest illusion in known history." Itachi explained gravely. "It was an ability granted to my cousin, Shisui Uchiha."

"I won't hear any tales or lies from you, Boy Kage." Onoki quickly fired off a particle style technique that was quickly rebuffed as Itachi simply summoned Susanoo's left arm.

"Distinguished Heavenly Gods," Itachi said, lowering the Yata Mirror.

"What was that?!" Onoki called.

"That is the name of my cousin's technique. It is an illusion that is so powerful, you don't even know it is being cast on you. It implants false memories into the victim, making them believe whatever you wish for as fact. It cannot be countered. You cannot be broken out of it like any other illusion. It has no weaknesses. Ten years ago, Danzo Shimura stole my cousin's eye and implanted it into the socket that he keeps hidden under those bandages." Itachi said as his gaze never wavered from Onoki's.

Onoki's eyes widened. "That is impossible. No technique like that exists."

"It did. It does. Please, I implore you. Withdraw your troops and return to Iwa. The real threat is still out there. The Akatsuki threaten everyone; shinobi and civilian alike. They are collecting the tailed beasts to create a weapon that can destroy my village and yours with a single attack. Please, we must unite and eradicate them before they can achieve their goals." Itachi asked, his eyes begging Onoki to agree.

"I will return to Iwa when Minato Namikaze's child's head is presented to me!" Onoki bellowed, charging forward once more.

Itachi sighed as he burst into crows once more as ten spears of earth pierced his illusionary body. "Naruto isn't even in the village right now. I sent him away to train."

"WHAT?!" Onoki yelled as he turned to face Itachi.

"It is true. Naruto is undergoing special training to make sure he is prepared when Akatsuki make their move. Even if I thought that giving him to you would end this battle, I could not. Please, Onoki, no more bloodshed." Itachi asked once more.

"No! I will not rest until that child is dead!"

Itachi lowered his gaze. Sorrow in his heart at the needless sense of lost life this day. He raised his head, Sharingan spinning slowly.

"Then so be it. Suffer the consequences for your vengeance. Suffer for leading your troops into my country. Suffer for killing my men and women."

Itachi vanished, reappearing directly in front of Onoki.

"Tsukuyomi."

************************************Aw Shit*******************************************

"This is annoying," Ami growled out, continuously dodging and batting the strange crystal shurikens out of the air.

"I agree." Kakashi drawled, in the same boat as Ami, dodging and slicing for all he was worth.

"Yes! Dance for me my monkeys! Dance!" Orochimaru cackled as the endless stream of crystal shuriken continued to bombard them.

"What the hell are we supposed to do?! We can't get close to him, and if we could he's got dozens of those spinning around him. We'd be sliced to ribbons!" Ami hissed out, narrowly dodging a shuriken that had been hidden closely behind another.

"Stay calm and think. As Lord Fifth always says, every technique has a weakness. We just have to find this one." Kakashi said, trying to wrack his brain. A shuriken came blitzing out of his blind spot. Without thinking, Kakashi summoned lightning and knocked the offending weapon out of the air. His eyes widened as he noticed his lightning had cracked the diamond-hard weapon.

"Could it be so simple?" Kakashi muttered to himself.

"Whatever that cute tushy is thinking, I'd love to hear it!" Ami called, summoning a thin wall as dozens of shuriken impacted it. She quickly placed her hand to the ground before jumping away as dozens more crystal weapons tore through her flimsy wall.

"Good news. He may be immortal, but his chakra is not infinite. The bad news neither is ours. I'm running low." Ami said landing next to Kakashi.

"Do you have any soldier pills?" Kakashi asked, taking out one Kenta had given him earlier.

"Yes, I just don't want to use it unless necessary. Even Kenta's make me feel like shit." Ami said, fingering the mud-colored ball in her hand.

"I understand. I think I know what will work on this technique, however, I need a few moments to prepare. Can you hold him off until then?" Kakashi asked.

Ami nodded. "I'll give you an opening, you just need to make sure it's worth it." She then popped the pill into her mouth, grimacing at the taste. Ami took a deep breath and ran out from her hiding spot, hands moving rapidly.

"Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Technique!" Dozens of small fireballs began to race towards Orochimaru. The man raised a single eyebrow in disdain.

"Pathetic." He mocked, flashing through his own set of seals. "Crystal Release: Prismatic Barrier."

A pink sheet of crystal appeared before the man. The fireballs impacted the shield, yet they didn't even put a scratch on the summoned construct.

Orochimaru sneered but quickly had to jump away as hands burst from the ground underneath him. The sudden move broke his concentration and the blades spinning dangerously around him fell to the ground.

"Oh no, you don't!" Ami called out. She threw her arms forward and to Orochimaru's shock they extended to inhuman proportions. The reaching hands locked on his arms and quickly began to twist around his body. With a mighty heave, Ami used all her strength to swing the man around before launching him skyward. With a grunt of exertion, she brought her hands crashing to the ground, smashing Orochimaru down headfirst. She quickly withdrew her arms before the man you summon any more of those crystals.

"You insignificant whelp. I will destroy you." Orochimaru's voice cut through the cloud of dust from where he was hurled.

"Crystal Style: Tearing Crystal Falling Dragon!" Orochimaru screamed in rage. A dragon as pink as Sakura's hair came hurtling out of the dust at alarming speeds. Ami attempted to dodge, but the technique was too fast.

Ami screamed in pain as the crystal construct dug deep into her flesh. It continued its charge until Ami was slammed into a thick tree. Her eyes and mouth opened wide in pain before she erupted into a cascade of electricity. The second the lightning hit the dragon, it began to fall apart.

"As I thought. This technique is based on earth chakra. The vibrations from my lightning chakra cause the bonds holding your crystal together to come undone. As Lord Fifth says, every technique has a weakness." Kakashi said, appearing from behind a tree. A mostly unharmed Ami right on his heels.

"You could have made the substitution beforethat pink monstrosity dug into my skin. That hurt!" Ami said, rubbing Fú's ointment on the multiple small cuts in her skin.

Kakashi chuckled awkwardly. "Sorry about that. Must be getting slow in my old age."

Ami pinned him with a withering glare. "You're buying me dango for a year if my flawless skin scars."

"Mah. Fine. You and Anko can share." Kakashi said, smiling down at the young woman.

Ami held the glare a few more seconds before relenting. "Let's end this snake. I need a bath and a drink."

"A celebratory drink does sound fitting." Kakashi agreed.

"The real question is, do we want to kill him, or bring him in?" Ami asked, fingering something in her pouch.

"If possible, end the traitor for good. He's slippery. There's no telling if we'd be able to keep him contained." Kakashi said after a moment's thought.

"I agree. Now that we can get past those crystals, I have a way to end him."

"Oh? Well then, follow my lead. I'll give you an opening this time." Kakashi's crinkled eye smile making Ami roll her eyes.

"I hate your face. Let's do this."

Kakashi pouted a bit for nodding. "You better get used to it, you'll be seeing a lot more of it."

"You two insects think you can kill me? I am immortal! I am a God! I will destroy you!" Orochimaru screamed in rage, hands racing through hand seals.

"Crystal Style: Tearing Crystal Falling Dragon Barrage!" Dragon after dragon began to launch themselves at the pair. Kakashi nodded at Ami and took off straight at them, Ami hot on his heels, hand still in her pouch.

"Chidori Current!" Kakashi yelled, thrusting his arm forward. The condensed ball of screaming lightning began to fire off in multiple directions. The bolts that impacted the dragons tore large chunks out of the constructs. Kakashi continued his charge, Ami not even a full step behind him. In seconds they were in striking distance.

"Crystal Style: Crystal Encampment Wall!" Orochimaru cried out in alarm. Instantly a wave of red erupted between Orochimaru and Kakashi. Kakashi thrust his hand forward, cursing as the damage instantly repaired itself.

"Do you see now the difference in power between us?! You cannot defeat me!" Orochimaru cackled madly.

"Then how about this?! SHHAAANNNARRROOOO!" Sakura's voice cut through the laughter. Orochimaru looked up, eyes widening seeing the crimson-haired demoness quickly approaching his wall of crystal. Her fist was cocked back, the concentration of chakra in her hand was so dense that it could be seen with the naked eye.

Sakura's fist lashed out at blinding speeds. It made contact with the crystal construct. For a heartbeat, not a sound could be heard.

BOOM!

The crystal wall exploded into dust and Ami didn't let her feelings of awe and slight jealousy deter her from her mission. While Orochimaru stared wide-eyed at the red dust falling to the ground, Ami's arm lashed out, digging her weapon deep into Orochimaru's exposed flesh, directly between the shoulder blades.

Ami jumped back and smirked. "Checkmate, bitch."

Orochimaru's hand automatically reached back and withdrew the offending weapon. He stared in confusion at the ivory-colored fang in his hand.

"Did you think to poison me?" Orochimaru began to laugh uncontrollably. "Poison?! Me?! Oh, you poor thing, you must not know who I am! Even before my immortality I was immune to every poison in existence! Even with my contract evoked, it does not take my immunity away!"

"I didn't poison you," Ami said, cutting off Orochimaru's laughter.

"Then what did you do? Give me an ouchie?" Orochimaru chuckled at his mockery.

"No. I just killed you." Ami said, smirking victoriously.

"I seem to be quite fine, little girl. Perhaps you hit your head at some point." Orochimaru sneered at Ami.

Ami picked up the discard fang, twirling it between her fingers. "Do you know where this came from?"

"One of you summons, I presume." Orochimaru drawled, his face tightening in annoyance.

"Ryuchi Cave," Ami said simply.

Orochimaru's eyes widened and they finally gave their full attention to the unassuming petite girl. "What did you just say?" Orochimaru hissed.

"Ryuchi. Cave." Ami said deliberately and slowly. "You know, the home of the snakes."

Orochimaru's eyes widened even further, his eyes falling to the large fang now clutched in Ami's grip. "Who… Whose fang is that, girl?"

Ami's smiled widened. "Hers."

"No. You are lying. She wouldn't give you one of those." Orochimaru said, licking his lips, eyes darting around in panic.

"No? Are you sure? You feeling okay, Lord Orochimaru?" Ami's smiled was nearly splitting her face at this point.

"Ami, what is going on?" Sakura asked, her curse mark retracted for the time being.

"This is a fang of the Great White Snake Sage," Ami said, flourishing the large fang.

"What does it do? Why does Orochimaru look like he's about to pass out?" Kakashi asked, inspecting the object.

"Those who pass her trials can request training from The Lady Sage herself. If their body is strong enough, she will bestow upon them a most wonderful gift. Unfortunately, even though I passed the trials, she deemed my chakra reserves too small to receive her gift. The same reason Orochimaru over there was also denied when he passed her trial many years ago." Ami said, eyes never leaving Orochimaru.

"What is that gift?" Kakashi asked, an idea already forming in his mind.

Ami finally turned away from Orochimaru, smile still in place. "She bites them!" She chirped happily.

"That sounds like a terrible gift," Sakura muttered.

"Oh no. It is the greatest gift you can receive. Any of those who are bitten and survive become stronger than any alive. They are granted the abilities of a sage." Ami explained, eyes back on Orochimaru.

Sakura gasped and even Kakashi's eyes widened at that. "Are you serious? That… Oh Ami, I am so sorry. That would have been an amazing gift for you." Sakura said sadly.

Ami shook her head. "It wasn't all for naught. She taught me new abilities instead, as well as granting my request."

"Ah, so that's how Orochimaru lost his rights as a summoner," Kakashi said catching on immediately.

Ami nodded. "Yup. She had said she had been meaning to do it for ages but kept forgetting. She's very… eccentric." Ami giggled. "But she's a sweet old thing."

"What abilities did she give you?" Sakura asked, now watching Orochimaru as closely as Ami.

"For starters, she modified my body, which allows me to do this." Ami's arm once more extended beyond human proportions. She grabbed a chunk of pink crystal and brought it back to her. "Pretty" She mumbled, staring at the mineral.

"This is all a fascinating tale, but what does it have to do with that fang and Orochimaru?" Kakashi said, his eyes now watching the snake-like a hawk.

"Just watch and wait. You'll see." Ami said still palming the crystal.

Orochimaru had enough. "You lie, little girl. There is no way that crazy old bag of bones would give you her fang. Even if she did, it does not contain her power!"

Ami raised her eyes from the pink mineral and made eye contact with Orochimaru once more. "She is a sage. Before I left she handed me this fang. She told me that in the coming days this would be the ultimate weapon against an immortal betrayer. At first I thought she meant Kakuzu, but Sakura and Sasuke took him out easily. It wasn't until you proved your immortality did I realize she meant you; the former summoner."

"What's going to happen to him?" Sakura whispered to Kakashi.

Kakashi shrugged. "When someone fails to learn sage mode with the Toad Clan, they turn into a frog and become stone."

Ami turned her gaze towards Kakashi. "Bingo."

Sakura opened her mouth but cut off, eyes widening at the sound of the guttural scream of terror coming from Orochimaru. All eyes turned his direction and watched in fascination.

His arms were shrinking rapidly, retracting into his body. His legs began to fuse as his entire body began to become slimmer and slimmer.

"NO! This cannot be! I am Orochimaru! I am immortal!" He screamed in terror.

Suddenly there was a poof of smoke, and the cackling of an old woman echoed in the clearing.

"Foolish, boy! I warned you that your pride and arrogance would be your downfall!" The smoke cleared, revealing an elderly woman. She was bent over so badly due to age and arthritis it was a wonder how she could see in front of her.

Ami instantly curtsied low and did not raise. "My Lady, whatever brings you here? I didn't summon you by mistake somehow, did I?"

The old woman turned her ancient gaze on Ami and smiled warmly. She affectionately pat the girl's cheek. "Up with you, dear. Such a polite girl. Such a sweet girl. No, my dear this was not your doing, do not fret."

Ami rose and smiled at the elderly woman. "Cpt Kakashi, Sakura, May I introduce you to The Great White Sage. My Lady, these are a few of my comrades. Kakashi Hatake and Sakura Haruno."

Kakashi bowed low while Sakura mimicked Ami's early motions. "Ah! More humans with some manners! Most refreshing. Please rise! Any friends of our Ami are the friends of the snake clan! Hatake, eh? You have a personal contract with your own raised ninja hounds, yes?"

Kakashi's visible eye widened slightly in shock before he composed himself. "That is correct. My clan has held the dog contract for centuries. I was given six pups on my sixth birthday. They are my personal summons."

"Yes, yes. I can smell them on you!" The Sage cackled. She turned her gaze on Sakura. "You. You have no summon clan. Perform the technique, your kin call to you."

Sakura's eyes bulged at that. "Great Sage, can you explain further?"

"As I said, dearie. Perform the summoning technique. Ami here can show you how. The kin of your spirit, the summoning clan you were destined for has been awaiting you for years. Don't keep them waiting much longer. They are a lovely bunch."

Sakura nodded enthusiastically and curtsied deeply once more. "Thank you, Great Sage. I will do so at my earliest convenience."

"Oh ho! I do love polite humans. It makes me want to eat you a lot less!" She cackled as she began to slowly make her way over to Orochimaru.

"Was she serious?" Sakura whispered urgently to Ami.

"Oh yes, very much so. The Snake clan considers human's a delicacy. However, they do not hunt us. Only those that venture to Ryuchi Cave and fail the trials are allowed to be consumed. Well, that and if I summon one of them into battle. They consider that permission to devour my opponents." Ami said with a shrug. Sakura breathed a sigh of relief at that.

"What is she doing?" Kakashi asked as he watched the sage make her way to the rapidly shrinking Orochimaru.

"I'm not deaf, young pup." She called out. "I warn all those who ask for the gift of Sage Arts. Even if I declare their bodies incapable of containing the raw power of natural energy. I tell them if their body cannot handle the power, they will become a snake, and I will devour them." She turned her head slightly, slit eyes boring in Kakashi's onyx orb. "I have come to collect my dinner."

She reached down, picking up the pure white snake that lay paralyzed on the ground where Orochimaru once stood.

"I warned you, boy. I did, I swear it. Did you think that Ukyo Uzumaki's warning was a bluff? Had you not ordered the capture of that girl, the threads of fate would not have woven this way. You tempted fate, thinking that your immortality made you immune to the web. No one is immune to the weaving of the threads, not even the Gods."

She threw him haphazardly into the bag she carried at her side, closing the top. She shuffled over to the small group.

"Immortal or not, I will devour him, as I once warned him decades ago. He will spend eternity in my belly. Since he cannot die, he cannot kill himself. Since he cannot kill himself, his soul will remain anchored on this plane of existence. With his soul anchored here, he cannot have one of his minions revive him using one of those abominable curse seals."

She turned to Ami. "Well done, dear. Five years."

Ami's eyes lit up. "Really? Are you serious, My Lady?!"

The Sage nodded. "Yes. Continue to train as hard as you have been. In five years you will be ready. I warn you, Ami. I don't know if you will survive. You may end up joining Orochimaru. However, in five years your body will be physically ready to handle the process. If you so choose. Take care of yourself. Come by for some tea some time. I know you're busy. Once this Akatsuki threat has been dealt with. Summon Gigimomoto. He's annoying the scales off me!"

Ami curtsied once more, giggling. "Of course, My Lady. I will. It has been a while since I let Gigi cut loose. Maybe today, if our reinforcements haven't arrived yet."

The Sage nodded. "Take care, Konoha Shinobi. Remember this day and know that The Snake Clan is still loyal to Konoha. Spread the word that we cut ties with Orochimaru and that we now serve only Anko and little Ami here. Farewell!" And with another puff of smoke, she was gone.

"That was not how I was expecting that battle to end," Sakura said after a few minutes of silence.

The three comrades exchanged glances before bursting into laughter.

"Come. Let's go help out where we can and report that Orochimaru has been dealt with." Kakashi said after the laughter died down.

The two young women nodded and took off after the retreating form of Kakashi.

******************************Bye-Bye-Orochi-Pedo!*************************************

Onoki gasped as Itachi finally released him from that unbreakable world of illusions. He stared wide-eyed at Itachi. "That's all true? Every memory you just showed me?"

Itachi nodded. "I swear on my ancestors and the life of my brother, Lord Tsuchikage."

Onoki cursed. "That… RAT! He manipulated me like I was a fresh-faced Genin!"

"Do not be upset, Lord Onoki. He has manipulated many in his lifetime. You're looking across from another of his victims. His manipulations cost my entire clan, do NOT let his manipulations cost the lives of your shinobi more than what has already been lost." Itachi pleaded once more.

Onoki nodded at once. "You're right. We will retreat. We must also call for a five Kage meeting. This masked man you met sends shivers down my spine. I will order the retreat now."

"Tell your men to leave the wounded. My shinobi will treat them as if they were our own, especially once I explain that you were another victim in Danzo's long list." Itachi hurriedly told the aged Kage.

Onoki gave Itachi a once over, seeming to find nothing too suspicious. He nodded and walked to the edge of the wall.

"IWA SHINOBI! FALL BACK! RETREAT! THIS FIGHT IS OVER! LEAVE THE WOUNDED WHERE THEY LAY!" Onoki bellowed, voice carrying over the sounds of battle. His men and women, showing how well trained they were immediately carried out his orders. Weapons were stowed or discarded and hundreds of bodies began to swiftly retreat.

Itachi pressed a finger to the seal behind his ear. "Konoha Shinobi, let them go. Danzo once again abused the power granted to him by stealing the eye of my cousin. Lord Onoki was manipulated like many before him. Gather Iwa's wounded and treat them as if they were our own."

"YES, LORD ITACHI!" Thousands of voices called out at once.

"Suna Shinobi! You too shall not harm any Iwa Ninja retreating!" Gaara's voice called out. He was easily heard as every soul had stopped their fighting at Onoki's declaration.

"YES, LORD GAARA!" His men and women called out in unison.

Gaara and Suna arrived mere moments before Itachi placed the Tsukuyomi on Onoki. At their arrival, the stalemate of quality versus quantity began to quickly sway towards Konoha's side.

"Thank you, Lord Kazekage," Onoki muttered.

"Of course, Lord Tsuchikage. The less we lose today are more warriors we have to combat the Akatsuki." Gaara said in his quiet voice.

Itachi walked past the oldest and youngest Kage to the edge of the wall. His gaze swept the battlefield and he felt his heartbreak at seeing the carnage. He steeled himself for the next set of orders.

"KONOHA SHINOBI! SUNA SHINOBI! SHOW THE REST NO MERCY!" Itachi yelled as loud as possible.

Bloodthirsty war cries met his order, and the battle resumed once more. Now though, his men, women, and allies began to slaughter the opposition without the highly skilled Iwa Shinobi there to support them. Itachi turned back to the two men.

"I agree that we need to discuss with all five of the Kage. I will send word once the battle is concluded and we have organized the funerals for our shinobi lost." Itachi said, frowning in sadness at the senseless loss of life.

Onoki stepped forward and extended his hand. "I will look forward to hearing from you. If I can make a last request. I know I do not deserve to, considering that my men and women are cause for many of your deaths…"

"Please, speak your mind, Lord Tsuchikage," Itachi said.

"Keep all my men here. Let get to know your people better. Let them experience another culture. Obviously any security and escorts you deem necessary will not be considered a slight. I just… I am old, Lord Hokage. I am old and tired and I'm sick of war. I think that we are in a perfect position to change the relationship between our villages. All of our villages." Onoki spoke the last words to Gaara.

"I will do as you ask, Lord Onoki. I think it is a wonderful idea. How long before I send them on their way?" Itachi asked.

"Unless the most critically wounded man and women can travel the entire way home with assistance. I will relay my orders to my granddaughter who will stay here as a temporary ambassador is that is alright with you?"

"Of course. What is her name? I will have my ANBU escort and protect her while she stays here."

"One moment." Onoki walked to the edge. "KUROTSUCHI! I KNOW YOU'RE HANGING AROUND! GET UP HERE!"

"Pipe down, gramps. I'm here. Geez, don't stress your heart out like that unless you're ready to give me that hat." A young woman said appearing beside her village leader.

"Listen up, whelp. This is your mission."

Itachi tuned the bickering grandfather and granddaughter. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

Soon, the bloodshed would finally come to an end.

*********************************WOO! IWA ALLIANCE?!*********************************

"He activated it again, Sasuke!" I called out, disappearing from view once more.

Danzo growled in annoyance, glancing down at his monstrous arm.

"Got it," Sasuke said, retreating into the shadows once more.

After the third time of killing Danzo, everything clicked for both of us.

Izanagi.

Sasuke informed me of the insanely overpowered forbidden technique that his clan's eyes were capable of.

It was then that I finally began to notice when Danzo activated the ability. The first time I realized I did feel the huge hit to his chakra that Danzo took, but I brushed it off as not even a second later his head was rolling on the ground.

The second time also ignored the dip as it happened right before I drove my kunai into his heart.

The third time though, I felt it happen as soon as Sasuke and I engaged the man once again. Forty seconds later, we were hastily retreating from Danzo appearing from thin air. The look of rage on his face making me giddy with excitement.

Now though? I was fucking pissed. Five times we had killed this bastard, and five times he reappeared from thin air.

However, it was after the fifth time that I finally caught the pattern.

Seventy seconds. That was how long the Izanagi would last before Danzo had to recast the technique. Each time, to my utter joy, whether he lived or died, an eye on his arm would close for good. That was the biggest shock, watching Danzo reveal the abomination on his arm. Cells from Lord First alone would be blasphemy in my book. The realization that Danzo ordered the extermination of the Uchiha Clan just to fill that arm with their eyes and have backups?

I'm just thankful that Honoka and Naruto were able to remove the parts of the curse seal that would have sent Sasuke into a murderous berserk rampage.

Danzo glanced down once more, my eyes following his. Two left, plus the eye of my second favorite Uchiha, Shisui.

"What's wrong, Lord Shimura? Out of ideas now that we figured out your gimmick? It's a shame you never honed any of your other abilities in the four years you were away. You might have walked away from this alive." I taunted from the shadows. This was our plan. Press Danzo until he felt threatened enough to activate an eye. Retreat into the shadows until time expires. Repeat.

Since we started this guerilla warfare type style, Danzo was on his last leg while Sasuke and I were only slightly winded, mildly chakra exhausted, and only kind of battered and bruised.

Okay, the old fucker was still dangerous as hell. Again, Lord Third didn't label him an empty S-Rank!

"You… you two. If you kill me, the fate of Konoha will rest squarely on your shoulders." Danzo called out.

"Better than on your shoulders." Sasuke's voice called from the gloom.

Sixty-Nine.

Seventy.

I rocketed out from my position at the same time that Sasuke did. We engaged Danzo once more in a fierce and deadly exchange of steel and fists. I felt the hit to the man's chakra as Sasuke was able to score a deep cut along the man's groin.

"Out!" I called out, and we vanished once more.

"You have no idea what is in store for Konoha! Only I can save you all! You must listen to me!" Danzo called out, voice slightly panicked.

"If we have any enemies to face, you will be the sole reason for them. YOU created all the enemies we have today. It was your lust for power and greed that created enemies we never had before!" I yelled out, vanishing as a sphere of wind destroyed the branch I was hiding behind.

"You do not understand! Madara Uchiha! He will kill us all."

"Madara Uchiha is dead and gone," Sasuke said. I felt his chakra move as another sphere of wind was launched towards the sound of his voice.

The fact that this man wanted to be Hokage and had absolutely zero ability at chakra sensing was laughable.

"He is not! I've met him. I've spoken to him!" Danzo yelled.

"You mean you schemed and plotted with him! Lord Itachi told us all about the deal he had to cut with Madara to save Konoha from your greed!" I yelled, vanishing three times in rapid succession during my accusations.

"No! That is not what happened! I too was bargaining with him!" Danzo panted.

"Did you see his face? My brother believes that the man you believed to be Madara is a renegade Uchiha using the man's name." Sasuke said, appearing next to me.

"Kenta. Kill shot this time." Sasuke whispered.

"What? There's still two more eyes plus Shisuis!" I whispered back.

Sasuke shook his head, placing his hand on my head. "Release," he whispered.

I gasped and stared at the boy in shock. "No fucking way."

"You would have noticed if you were looking. Sorry, I had to sell the act completely. Kill shot." Sasuke said once more.

I nodded. "Do you want the honors or should I?"

"You. Your attack will force him to use Shisui's eye, destroying it forever. When he reappears, I'll finish him."

"Got it. Let's go."

Sixty-Nine.

Seventy.

I vanished and reappeared a mere five feet in front of Danzo. Before he could act, I unleashed my technique.

"Storm Release: Heavenly Crash!" I said, trusting my hands forward. They were arranged in the same hand seal that we use for our mind-body switch technique. A beam of light flickered to life in the center of the circle my hands made. The light expanded then launched forward, puncturing a hole the size of an orange in Danzo's chest. His eyes widened. He glanced down at his arm, and his chakra spiked in fear. He closed his eyes, as I felt his chakra dip to dangerous levels.

I stood there, motionless. Waiting.

"I will not let you destroy Konoha!" Danzo's enraged bellow sounded behind me. I turned, smirking, as Sasuke's black lightning coated fist tore another hole where the man's heart was. His eyes widened in disbelief.

"Predictable." Sasuke scoffed, withdrawing his hand.

Danzo clutched his chest in pain. He stumbled forward.

In a last-ditch effort, he tore what remained of his shirt off.

"I will not allow you to destroy Konoha! Die!" Danzo screamed.

I felt the massive spike in chakra and saw the spiraling scroll appear in the center of Danzo's chest. I grabbed Sasuke and flickered away to safety.

I landed and stared impassively at the massive crater that Danzo's suicide technique created.

"Gods. He was so lost in his delusions that he honestly believed we want to see Konoha burn." Sasuke muttered while assessing the damage.

"It's kind of sad if you think about it. What was once a real desire to protect Konoha became his downfall." I said, thinking back to everything I had learned of the man's past.

"Hn," Sasuke grunted.

I glanced his direction before bursting into laughter. He joined me seconds later. I felt two signatures rapidly approaching our position. I turned, smiling brightly as Fuu appeared once again. Torune, very much alive was with him, surprisingly.

"You two worked out your differences?" I asked as the two came to a halt.

"Of course. Torune has been the only real friend I have had over the years. I showed him what you showed me, convincing him that he can have the same with his younger cousin, Shino." Fuu explained.

"Well then, let's get back into the action. If there is any!" I called out. My companions nodded and we flickered away.

*******************************DA CONCLUSION?!*************************************

"Report." Lord Fifth commanded.

"After a fierce battle with Orochimaru, who had somehow received actual immortality, Ami Kogure was able to pierce his flesh with a fang given to her from The Great White Snake Sage. This in turn overloaded his body with Natural Energy, causing him to turn into a snake. The Sage herself appeared and took his body away. She consumes all of those who fail her trial. Orochimaru will remain transformed, sealed away inside The Sage herself." Kakashi rattled off.

I whistled lowly in appreciation at that. "Now Naruto just has to find a way to permanently defeat an immortal and team eleven has the hat trick," I whispered loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Funny. What of Danzo?" Lord Fifth asked.

"Dead," Sasuke reported.

"How?"

"Suicide technique after Sasuke put his fist through his heart," I said with a salute.

"There's a lot more to this story, debrief will happen in the coming days."

"Yes, Lord Fifth/Brother." Sasuke and I said together.

"Now, we have a lot to do, we will start by…"

I stopped listening to Lord Fifth as something had just flown overhead and landed in the center of the village. I focused on the general location.

My heart stopped momentarily, as I recognized the chakra signature immediately. It was a chakra signature I would never forget, even after I was long dead. A chakra signature that sent me jolting out of bed in a blind panic.

A plume of smoke erupted in the center of the village. All eyes immediately turned in the direction of the disturbance. The cloud quickly dissipated, revealing a two-headed summoning of some kind. It turned its gaze towards the large group of us gathered on the southern wall.

My breath caught in my throat.

Rinnegan eyes stared back at me once again.

This time, It wasn't in a dream.
