Fall of The Fire Papers

Master Lifei stared at the remnants if the paper for sometime and chuckled, he said, ' The wise will not budge'

Miyun clearly understood the meaning of what he said, the young servant boy however had fright written all over his face. Miyun walked closer to his master and spoke, ' Who do you think is behind this?'

' Miyun, how would I know?. This fire papers are of rare origin and has been crafted exactly like those of the Seventh Knights. It would take only very smart people to decipher them form the real ones. Someone else is planning something devious or playing with us.' His master halted and seemed to be in a daze for awhile as if contemplating something

' Master, what is the matter?' Miyun asked

' Miyun I want your help with something, I am asking this of you because I trust you, you turn sixteen in a few days. You are grown my boy. How about I make this your first mission mm?' Master Lifei smiled

Miyun stared at his master wondering how he even became a senior master. He was young and from the little glimpses he had gotten of him, he was definitely a young handsome man with a slender frame. He had a mole just beneath his straight small nose and that added up to his beauty. Though he looked to be far less concerned about how he looked.

He could deduce this mission was not any meagre mission but his master was behaving like it was just like any other mission. Since he became a scint member, he had been good to him and he would be a very big liar if he said he didn't like him, though he was most of the times annoying. He would pester him day and night to call him father, but Miyun only saw him as a brotherly figure. In short, he was just too childish.

' What do you say?, on your way you can even find a beautiful young maiden you may like, I see you do not like the ones here'.

' You should be the one getting married, you old man' Miyun said internally but knew that was not going to happen anytime soon. Master Lifei did not like women and never kept a lover for more than a month. He was just the most uncouth master in the world. This was another reason his brother despised him, but he was just too frivolous to care about it.

Miyun sighed. He and his brother looked to have been close but what happened between them was something he would like to know, maybe some other time, he would tell him?

' I accept, Master' Miyun said and bowed respectfully.

' Then you would leave in a week's time.'

Miyun bowed again and turned to leave.

' Miyun, what I showed you, should be our little secret' Master Lifei said and winked.

' Old pervert' Miyun muttered and left the hall.

Mishin hurried over to him as soon as he got out of the hall.

' Did you see it?, I was not lying after all. Do you still want to go to the dark mountains?'

Miyun looked over his friend and said nothing. There was no use in talking to some slow witted. Mishin was good with martial arts. He was very strong but was lanky. He somehow had his hair short and dyed wine, a dark wine. He was quiet tall and handsome too. Though being the older between the two, he was the one who acted like a kid. Apart from taking his martial arts serious, nothing else concerned him. He had a lover who he openly cherished, Mina. She was a sweet beautiful girl who did not like to talk much. Miyun only ever exchanged greetings with her.

' Your young master is back.' Mishin said kicking at pebble at his feet

' Just now?'

' Just now....... but he did not walk towards his suites.'

Miyun said nothing and walked over to his room amidst the frightened youths.

He opened the door and perched on top of his window was his master looking outside with an unreadable expression plastered on his face.

Miyun could smell a faint scent of maiden perfume coming from him. He looked so neat and presentable that one could hardly question where he had come from.

' My sister tells me you are not bad' Sihui said and climbed down.

Miyun stood aside to let him pass.

' Do you believe in the white day and Seventh Knights?'

' I do and do not'

' Silly, what kind of an answer is that?'

' I am told we are to embark on mission in a week'

Miyun was slightly surprised. He though he was doing this alone.

' It is quiet an interesting mission but you would have to go without me. I have important matters to attend to.' He halted

' Will you not ask me if I also believe in the Seventh Knights?, I do. That is how you answer a question.'

Sihui pressed a hand to his sides and waist and sighed

' After all the pleasures and money I gave that miss, she still stole something from me.'

Miyun looked away from him and remained silent.

' We will begin to train tomorrow, but not among your people. Meet me where we met the other time.'

'I do not think that would be possible, young lord'

' Everything is possible with me. Just do as I have said.'

' Yes'

Miyun was not one to butt into people's business but somethings he just could not ignore.

' Master, don't go'

Sihui stopped and turned towards him a sheepish smile on his face.

' What is it?, do not tell me you have missed me so?'

Miyun wanted to punch him honestly, between he and his senior master who was actually more shameless. This person was just too difficult, his personality changed every single day.

Fortunately, the sun was out today and the rays seeped into the room making his view a little bit more clearer. Mishin was not lying when he said he was good looking. He skin looked like porcelain, he had a prominent straight nose big phoenix eyes and long lashes that would make him the envy of every girl. His was very dark and long and was on the slender side.

Miyun noticed he was wore a shawl around his neck and he loved to dress in dark colors.

' If I should not go, then what should I do for you?'

Miyun waited awhile and said, ' You are bleeding'.

Sihui said nothing and sat on the only chair in the room
