Skyworld...
Pit and Jared rushes to the door to start the adventure.
"Let's go!" Pit said.
"I'm so excited for this!" Jared said, happily.
Pit and Jared leaps through the door.
"With Medusa's commanders out of the way, we're getting to the battle of battles! But this isn't the way to the Underworld. Where are we going?" Pit asked.
"I'm a little embarrassed to say…" Palutena said, telepathically.
"What is it?"
"Remember the Three Sacred Treasures you used against Medusa long ago?"
Jared closed his eyes to imagine the classic, 8-bit appearances of the Mirror Shield, Arrow of Light, and Wings of Pegasus, as well as the classic sprite of Pit wielding the Three Sacred Treasures.
"Of course. The Mirror Shield, Arrow of Light, and Wings of Pegasus." Pit said.
"And Jared, remember the three most popular songs members of HoloLive sang." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Of course. Connect, Sorairo Days, and A Cruel Angel's Thesis." Jared said. "You're kidding me. I'm getting the power of Gurren Lagann, the Evangelions, and the Puella Magi Holy Quintet."
"Right. I hid all six of them in case of an emergency. You know, so they wouldn't get stolen."
"Now that's using your noodle. Man, you are so smart!" Pit said.
"The story doesn't end there. See, there's also this space-pirate ship…" Palutena said, telepathically.
"Wait, what?" Pit asked.
"Hi!" Gura said, telepathically.
"Argh. A space pirate ship. And you didn't invite us!" Amelia said, telepathically.
"What are the chances of a kraken showing up?" Ina asked, telepathically.
Jared closed his eyes to see the Space Pirate Ship.
"You know, a pirate ship...in space. Its crew travels the Galactic Sea, robbing the heavens of constellations." Palutena said, telepathically.
"That's awesome!" Jared said, happily. "If you're a pirate, Yo-Ho!!"
"Yo-Ho!" Ina, Amelia, and Gura said, telepathically.
"Sing and dance, Yo-Ho!!"
"Yo-Ho!"
"Wait. That's evil!" Jared said, frowning.
"But what does that have to do with the Three Sacred Treasures and three songs HoloLive sang?" Pit asked.
"Well... I hid the Three Sacred Treasures and the power of those anime series in the constellations." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Uh-oh...so the pirates stole the treasures and the powers of the Holy Quintet, Gurren Lagann, and the Evangelions along with the stars?" Jared asked.
"And the Underworld Army has gotten wind of it. They're attacking the ship." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Oh, great." Pit said.
"Just what we needed." Jared said.
"Which brings us to today's mission. Raid the pirate ship and retrieve the Three Sacred Treasures and the power of Magical Girls and mechs!" Palutena said, telepathically.
"Space pirates?" Amelia asked, telepathically.
"You really should have invited us." Ina said, telepathically.
"It isn't safe!" Jared said, angrily.
"Of course it isn't safe. What would be safe?" Gura asked, telepathically.
Palutena sends Pit and Jared rapidly flying upward.
"We're on it! Aaaand we're going really fast." Pit said.
"We're already late, so we have to hurry. Hold on!" Palutena said, telepathically.
Pit and Jared arrive in space.
"So, the Three Sacred Treasures are pretty old now. Do they still work?" Pit asked.
"And do the Evangelions and Gurren Lagann still work? Gurren Lagann was made in the future. And the Evangelions were made in the past." Jared said, letting out a sigh.
"They've grown more brittle with age, but they'll likely last a few more battles." Palutena said, telepathically.
"You're not exactly inspiring confidence here." Pit said.
"Well, maybe you don't even need them anymore. Don't be such a chicken."
"I'm no chicken! I could take Medusa with one arm tied behind my back! And I might not even need Jared's help!
"Listen to that swagger! You've toughened up nicely, Pit. Remember when you'd be like, 'I'm finished!' all the time?"
"I...still say that...a lot…" Pit said.
"Y'know, I'm excited for the Diamond and Pearl remakes, Splatoon 3, that Arceus game, and Pyra and Mythra appearing in Smash." Jared said, looking around the place. "2021 to 2022 looks really promising."
Pit and Jared arrive at the Galactic Sea.
"Man, what a sight!" Pit said.
"The two of you have arrived at the Galactic Sea!" Palutena said, telepathically.
"This is like Mario Galaxy all over again!" Jared said, happily.
"Right? I completed that game a while back." Amelia said, telepathically.
"The pirate ship should be around here somewhere…" Palutena said, telepathically.
"Where?" Pit asked.
"Blazing Sails combined with Super Mario Galaxy." Ina said, telepathically.
The Space Pirate Ship bursts out from the waters below. Jared's eyes glowed blue as he got a vision of the near future.
Jared's mind palace…
Pit and Jared flew below the yellow bar right before the ship emerged.
"Wah!" Pit said.
"Whoa!" Jared said.
"Pit!" Palutena said, telepathically.
"Jared!" Ina said, telepathically.
The ship slams into Pit and Jared, sending them flying down into the waters.
"Waaaah!" Pit said.
"Ow…." Jared said.
"Are you all right?" Palutena asked, telepathically.
"That pirate ship wasn't messing around." Pit said.
"So, Jared. Why can't pirates learn the alphabet?" Ina asked, telepathically.
"Is now the time for jokes?" Amelia asked, telepathically.
"No. It isn't. Just tell me the joke, anyway, Captain Ina." Jared said.
"Because they spend years at 'C'!" Ina said, telepathically.
"Can we get them back to the surface?" Gura asked, telepathically. "They can't stay in the waters after being cast away."
"OK, let's get the both of you to the surface." Palutena said, telepathically.
Pit and Jared proceed through the enemy-infested waters, eventually making his way back to the surface.
Galactic Sea…
Jared's eyes stopped glowing blue and they went back to the brown hue they were before.
Pit and Jared flew above the yellow bar right before the ship emerged.
"Watch out!" Amelia said, telepathically.
"Whoaaaa!" Jared said, smiling. "Thank you, Detective Watson."
Pit and Jared narrowly avoids the ship and it sails away.
"I guess that was it!" Pit said, telepathically.
"It's moving pretty fast. Stay on its tail!" Palutena said, telepathically.
Palutena sends Pit and Jared after the ship.
"I think we see the ship! It's under attack by Underworld forces." Pit said.
"Good. That means the treasures, along with the power of Magical Girls and mechs are still on board." Palutena said, telepathically.
"So the plan now is to...defend the ship?" Pit asked.
"Do we defend the ship by using ink?" Jared asked. "Are we using some Splatoon logic here?"
"Focus, Pit, Jared. To get the treasures and the power of the mechs and Magical Girls, you need to take out those space pirates too. Plus, just think how lonely the sky would be without constellations. Don't hold back!" Palutena said, telepathically.
"Hey, Gura, Ina. I have a question for you guys! What's a pirate's favorite type of exercise?"
"What?" Ina asked, telepathically.
"What is it?" Gura asked, telepathically.
"Oh. Oh. I know this one! The plank!" Amelia said, telepathically.
"Ugh!" Ina said, telepathically.
"Really? Another flat joke!" Gura said, angrily.
"We're close to a pirate ship. Too hard for me to resist." Jared said, smirking.
The Space Pirate Ship suddenly leaps into the air, landing back in the water.
"Euaah!" Pit said.
"I'm looking for an entrance. Hold tight!" Palutena said, telepathically.
Pit and Jared flies around the ship as Palutena searches for an entrance.
"Found one! Get ready to go in!" Palutena said, telepathically.
Palutena sends Pit and Jared into a spot near the back of the ship.
Space-Pirate Ship…
"Man, I haven't been able to do landing strategies in forever. Ow…" Jared said, lifting himself off the ground.
Pit and Jared crashlands inside the ship.
"Not that I'm complaining, but could you be a little gentler next time?" Pit asked.
"Sorry about that! Are you OK?" Palutena asked, telepathically.
"I'm fine…" Jared said, rubbing his left shoulder.
Pit and Jared enter a room with Space Pirates and Space Pirate Snipers.
"So those are the space pirates? I get the feeling they won't just hand over the Three Sacred Treasures." Pit said.
"And it's not like they won't hand over Gurren Lagann, the Evangelions, and the magic of the Puella Magi Holy Quintet." Jared said.
"They might even be tougher than the Underworld forces. Be careful." Palutena said, telepathically.
In the room with the Space Pirates, a weapon conversation or random conversation may trigger.
"So, Gurren Lagann, I don't know it's full abilities yet. All I know is that it has drills." Jared said.
"It's a mech. It's mechanical." Ina said, telepathically.
"We love this show." Gura said, telepathically.
"I haven't sung Soriaro Days yet!" Amelia said, telepathically.
"Get to that, Watson!" Jared said.
Pit and Jared enter the generator room.
"This is the generator room." Ina said, telepathically.
"What's that shining in the glass?" Gura asked, telepathically.
"That's where energy from the Galactic Sea is converted into propulsive power. As long as the ship remains in the Galactic Sea, it can run indefinitely." Palutena said, telepathically.
"So...we should destroy the shiny thing?" Pit asked.
"Can we destroy it?" Jared asked.
"You'd better not. The explosion would be enormous." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Sounds hurty." Pit said.
"I'm not one for being in explosions." Jared said. "I do love blowing stuff up."
As Pit and Jared proceed, they enter a hall where a Belunka suddenly breaks open the wall.
"Wuh! A Belunka!" Pit said.
"Damn." Jared said.
"The Underworld Army really wants in on this fight." Ina said, telepathically.
Pit and Jared enter the storage vault.
"Oh, I see." Amelia said, telepathically.
"See what?" Gura asked, telepathically.
"This is a storage vault for the stolen constellations. They've all been compressed for easy transport."
"What about the Three Sacred Treasures and the power of Gurren Lagann and the Evangelions, along with the magic of the Holy Quintet?" Jared asked.
"Unfortunately, they don't seem to be here. I bet the pirate captain has them. I wonder if he's wearing them." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Then it's more than just an emergency!" Pit said.
"It's a FASHION emergency." Palutena said, telepathically.
"More like magic and mecha can't he misused." Jared said.
Pit and Jared enter a room with a Collin and Phil.
"You might recognize this type of Underworld enemy from your past adventures. Here's a tip. Don't attack the big monster straight on. Instead, use melee attacks to launch the little bugs back at it." Palutena said, telepathically.
Pit and Jared exits the ship through the side.
"Whoa!" Pit said.
"This is the side of the ship's hull." Palutena said, telepathically.
"I love pirates. But pirates in space still have me in awe." Jared said, happily.
"The view is like a postcard!" Pit said.
"I should really send one to the Ponds."
Pit and Jared heads back inside and enters a room with a switch.
"A switch, huh?" Pit asked.
"That's what it looks like." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Probably does something."
"They usually do."
Pit and Jared goes into another room, where enemies spawn from doors.
"The two of you can destroy the doors the enemies are coming out of." Palutena said, telepathically.
"We'll stop the baddies at the source!" Pit said.
In the room with the doors that spawn enemies, a weapon conversation or random conversation may trigger.
"It's kind of sad that the fan fiction book is almost over." Amelia said, telepathically.
"Right? All I know is that I'll see Clara again." Jared said, happily.
"Clara? Who's Clara?" Gura asked, telepathically.
"Can you see her clearly?" Ina asked, telepathically.
"All I know is that Clara is impossible." Jared said, happily:
Jared's eyes glowed blue as he got a vision of the near future.
Jared's mind palace…
If Pit and Jared enters the Hot Spring while the previous dialogue plays.
"Hope there's room for one more!" Pit said.
"There's always room for one more!" Palutena said, telepathically.
Space-Pirate Ship…
Jared's eyes stopped glowing blue and they went back to the brown hue they were before. Pit and Jared head into the Hot Spring room with the Space Pirate Commando.
"Space-pirate hot spring!" Pit said, excitedly.
"It looks like somebody beat and Jared you to it." Palutena said, telepathically.
Pit and Jared heads back outside, then enters a small room.
"I set up a grind rail for you outside the ship." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Thank you very much!" Pit said.
"We really appreciate it." Jared said, happily.
"I'm pretty limited in where I can put grind rails. Luckily, the Underworld forces cleared out a lot of clutter." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Where's this thing go?" Pit asked.
"To the ship's control room. I think that's where we'll find the Three Sacred Treasures along with the power of Gurren Lagann and the Evangelions, along with the magic of the Puella Magi Holy Quintet." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Good! I want my stuff back!"
"And I want to use some mechs. It took me what? Seven fan fiction books in the series!" Jared said. "I also don't mind using some magic from some of my friends too. Can't wait to be overpowered for a bit."
The Grind Rail escorts Pit and Jared back inside the ship, where Space Pirates are battling Underworld troops.
"This place is crawling with Underworld enemies too!" Pit said.
"Just keep pushing forward." Ina said, telepathically.
"Jared, I saw your articles on Miko, Korone, Ollie, and Haachama." Amelia said, telepathically.
Pit and Jared arrive in a room with an elevator.
"You also wrote an article about me!" Gura said, telepathically.
"That I did. It was a lot of fun." Jared said, smiling. "I love you girls. And I love HoloLive as a whole."
"This elevator will take you to the pirate captain." Palutena said, telepathically.
"I am SO swabbing the deck with that jerk!" Pit said.
"Same! I don't know how much longer I can go on without using a mech!" Jared said, angrily.
Pit and Jared arrives on the ship deck, where the Space Pirate Captain is shouting orders through a megaphone.
"I have no idea what he's saying." Pit said.
"Let me translate for you. I'm good with the language of pirates!" Gura said, telepathically. "He's saying, 'Yar, I'll make ye walk the space plank, scurvy dogs!'"
"Gura gave you a loose translation." Amelia said, telepathically.
"He did." Ina said, telepathically.
"Oh, man...not the space plank!" Pit said.
Pit and Jared perks up as they hear something.
"Ah!" Pit said.
Several tentacles emerge from beneath the ship and grab the Captain, which toss him into the mouth of a giant Space Kraken.
"I forgot that appeared at the end of this chapter!" Jared said, annoyed.
The Kraken then notices Pit and Jared and screeches at them, initiating the battle.
"A space Kraken?! Well, that came out of nowhere." Palutena said, telepathically.
"What's it even doing here?!" Pit exclaimed.
"The Galactic Sea is home to all sorts of nasty creatures."
"So it's not affiliated at all with the Underworld Army?"
"Either way, the two of you had better do something about those tentacles!" Palutena said, telepathically.
"Understood!" Pit said.
"That should be easy enough!" Jared said, smiling.
"Although, when prepared correctly, octopus is actually quite delicious." Palutena said, telepathically.
"How can you think about food at a time like this?!" Pit exclaimed.
"Want to get some takoyaki?" Ina asked, telepathically.
Pit and Jared defeat one of the tentacles.
"Ina! I don't want to be hungry!" Jared said.
"You've got three tentacles to go!" Palutena said, telepathically.
Pit and Jared defeat two of the tentacles.
"Two left!" Pit said.
Pit and Jared defeats three of the tentacles.
"Only one left!" Gura said, telepathically.
Pit and Jared defeats all four tentacles.
"That was the last tentacle!" Pit said.
"Now go for the head!" Palutena said, telepathically.
The Kraken's head shows itself.
"Attacking from a distance and getting in close both have their pros and cons. Try to find the range that works well with the weapon you're using now." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Got it! You can always trust an angel and an ally of justice to find the best tool for a job!" Pit said.
"Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful! It will be delicious!" Jared said, excitedly.
Pit and Jared defeats the Kraken.
"Calamaried!" Pit said.
"What a sucker…" Palutena said, telepathically.
Epilogue
Pit rushes over to the Three Sacred Treasures Case and lifts it up.
Jared rushes over to a case that contains the power of Gurren Lagann and the Evangelions, it also has the magic of the Puella Magi Holy Quintet within, and he lifts it up.
"Hey look! Check it out!" Pit said.
"The Three Sacred Treasures must be inside." Palutena said, telepathically.
"Along with the power of the Evangelions." Ame said, telepathically.
"The power of Gurren Lagann." Gura said, telepathically.
"And the magic of the Puella Magi Holy Quintet." Ina said, telepathically.
"I'm kind of excited to use the mechs. Along with more magic. Don't worry, I won't be that overpowered." Jared said, frowning.
"Hm. The boxes have really held up well." Pit said.
Lights shines down over Pit and Jared.
"It is less pixelated than I remember." Palutena said, telepathically.
Palutena whisks Pit and Jared away.
