Back to the Future II (Part 2)

(Jared's POV)

Oak Park Cemetery...

Marty finally finds a gravestone. It reads 'In Loving Memory Of George Douglas McFly, Born April 1st 1938, Died March 15th 1973.'

"NO! No!" Marty said, kneeling down in front of the gravestone. "This can't be happening!" He reads the gravestone. "March 15th 1973? No, oh please God no, no, please God, please God, no, this can't be happening! This can't be happening! This can't be..."

Two shadows appear on the gravestone. Marty hears a twig snap and turns around. It's Doc, Einstein, and I.

"I'm afraid it is happening, Marty. Everything in this timeline." I said, sadly.

"Doc! Jared!" Marty said, looking between Doc and I.

"When I learnt about your father, we figured you'd come here." Doc said.

"Then you both know what happened to him? The two of you know what happened, March 15th 1973?"

"Yes Marty, I know. I knew the entire time. And I showed Doc how I knew. So he knows too." I said, frowning.

Doc's Garage...

It's a mess. I opened a book. 'Hill Valley Telegraph Archives March 1st - April 30th 1973'. On the page he turns to is a headline – 'George McFly Murdered: Local Author Shot Dead'.

"Jared and I went to the public library to try and make sense out of all the madness. The place was boarded up, shut down, so we broke in and borrowed some newspapers." Doc said.

"I don't get it, Doc, Jared, I mean how can this be happening? It's like we're in hell or something." Marty said.

"No, it's Hill Valley, although I can't imagine hell being much worse!"

"I've been through hell. And it was much worse than this. It was the Year that Never Was. It lasted from 2008 to 2009. It never happened. It was a world ruled by the Master. I'm one of the people that remember it." I said, leaning against the Delorean.

Einstein whines.

"At least you've been through hell, Jared." Doc said, taking a candle and goes over to Einstein. "Oh Einie, I'm sorry boy, the lab is an awful, awful, awful, awful mess!" He flips over Einstein's dog bed and the dog hops in. "Atta boy." Doc looks between Marty and I. "Obviously the time continuum has been disrupted creating this new temporally venced sequence resulting in this alternative reality."

"English, Doc!" Marty said, annoyed.

"Here, here, here, let me illustrate." Doc said, finding a blackboard and stands it up. He picks up some chalk. "Imagine that this line represents time..." He draws a line on the blackboard. "...Here's the present, 1985..." Doc writes '1985' on the board. "...the future..." He writes 'F'. "...and the past..." Doc. writes 'Past'. "Prior to this point in time..." He points to 1985. "...somewhere in the past, the timeline skewed into this tangent, creating an alternate 1985." Doc draws the tangent on the board and writes '1985-A' on it. "Alternate to the both of you, me and Einstein. But reality for everyone else." He goes to the DeLorean and gets a bag out. "Recognize this? It's the bag the sports book came in. We know, because the receipt is still inside. We found them in the time machine, along with this!"

Doc holds up the top of Biff's 2015 cane.

"It's the top of Biff's cane, I mean old Biff from the future!" Marty said, at a loss for words.

"Yup. It was in the time machine because Biff was in the time machine with the sports almanac." I said, letting out a sigh.

"Holy shit!"

"You see, whilst we were in the future, Biff got the sports book, stole the time machine, went back in time and gave the book to himself at some point in the past." Doc said, drawing a line from the 'F' on the board to the point where the tangent skewed into 1985-A. He then takes out a copy of the Hill Valley Telegraph, 'Hill Valley Man Wins Big At Races'. Next to it is a picture of Biff. "Look! It says, right here, that Biff won his first million betting on a horse race in 1958. He wasn't just lucky, he knew because he had all the race results in the sports almanac. That's how he made his entire fortune! Look in his pocket with a magnifying glass."

Marty does so. He sees the almanac in Biff's pocket.

"The almanac!" Marty said, as Doc chuckles again. "That son of a bitch stole our idea!" He slams his fist on the table. "He must have been listening when we...it's our fault! It's my fault and Jared's fault! If we hadn't bought that damn book, none of this would ever have happened!"

"Well, that's all in the past." Doc said, sadly.

"You mean the future." Marty said.

"Whatever! It demonstrates precisely how time travel can be misused and why the time machine must be destroyed - after we straighten all of this out."

"Right, so we go back to the future, and we stop Biff from stealing the almanac."

"We can't! If we travel into the future from this point in time, it will be the future of this reality! We can't even ask my friends for help. There's no UNIT, no Torchwood, no SHIELD, no Symphogear, no Puella Magi Holy Quintet, no Cardcaptor Sakura, no Avengers, no Judgement, no River Song, and no Sarah Jane." I said, and Doc underlines 1985-A on the board. "We're all alone trying to fix this. Because they don't exist or won't recognize me. This isn't the reality I help protect, Marty. This is a whole different reality."

"Jared's right, Marty. This is a different reality. In which Biff is corrupt, and powerful, and married to your mother; and in which this has happened to me!" Doc said, showing Marty and I another paper. The headline says 'Emmett Brown Committed - Crackpot Inventor Declared Legally Insane'. A side story says 'Biffco To Build New Dioxin Plant' and 'Nixon To Seek 5th Term'. Einstein whines as Marty takes it. "No, our only chance to repair the present is in the past, at the point where the timeline skewed into this tangent. In order to put the universe back as we remember it, and get back to our reality, we have to find out the exact date, and the specific circumstances of how, where and when, young Biff got his hands on that sports almanac."

"We'll ask him. Let's go, Jared." Marty said, looking at me.

Pleasure Paradise – 27th Floor...

'A Fistful of Dollars' is playing on the TV in Biffy's suite. Clint Eastwood looks up to the camera. The other guy shoots him, and Clint falls into some barrels. The other guy smiles, and fires again - he's out of bullets. Clint gets up and reveals the bullet-proof vest. Cut to Biff watching the movie from his Jacuzzi with 2 other women.

"Bullet-proof vest! Great flick, great frigging flick The guy is brilliant!" Biff said, while I came up behind him with Marty and I turned the TV off using the remote. "Hey, what the hell's going..." He sees Marty "Ah!"

"Ahh!" The jacuzzi girls yelled.

"Party's over Biff." I said, throwing the remote in the jacuzzi. "Sorry ladies."

"How'd you and your friend get past my security downstairs?" Biff asked, looking at Marty.

"There's a little matter we need to talk about." Marty said.

"Yeah, money, right? Well forget it!" Biff said, angrily.

"No, not money." Marty said, slowly. "Grays Sports Almanac."

"You heard his friend, girls. Party's over." Biff said, giving Marty a look.

Office...

Biff enters a room wearing a robe. Marty and I followed him. In the room is a big painting of Biff.

"Start talking, kids. What else do both of you know about that book?" Biff asked.

"First you tell us how you got it. How you got it. Where you got it. And when you got it." I said, looking at Biff.

"Alright, take a seat." Biff said, as Marty and I stayed standing. Biff walks over to the painting of himself. He turns to Marty and I. "Sit down!" Marty and I did as we're told. "November 12th, 1955, that was when."

Biff reveals the painting is really a safe. He opens the safe.

"November 12th 1955? That was the day we went back..." Marty said, covering the truth. "...that was the day of the famous Hill Valley lightning storm."

"You know your history, very good. I'll never forget that Saturday. I'd just picked my car up from the shop because I'd enrolled it in a drag race a few days earlier." Biff said.

"I thought you crashed it into a manure truck."

"How do you know about that?"

"My father told me about it." Marty said, covering the truth.

"Your father?" Biff asked.

"Before he died."

"Yeah right. So there I was, minding my own business..." Biff said, opening the safe. "...when this crazy old codger with a cane shows up." He takes a box out of the safe. "He says he's my distant relative. I didn't see any resemblance." Biff puts the box on the table. "So he says 'How would you like to be rich?' So I say 'Sure'." He opens the box and takes the sports almanac from it. "So he lays this book on me. He says this book'll tell me the outcome of every sporting event 'til the end of the century. All I have to do is bet on the winner, and I'll never lose. So I say 'What's the catch?' He says, 'No catch, just keep it a secret'." Biff puts the book back in the box and closes it. "After that he disappeared. I never saw him again." Marty takes a 'Biff's Pleasure Paradise' matchbox and puts it in his pocket. "Oh, and he told me one other thing. He said some day, a crazy wild eyed scientist or some kids may show up asking about that book. And if that ever happened..." Biff laughs as he pulls out a gun. "Funny, I never thought it would be you and your friend."

"Biff, you're forgetting one thing. What the hell is that?" I asked, pointing behind Biff.

Biff looks, and I throw the matchbox tray at him. It hits the chair just about Biff's head. Marty and I ran off. Biff turns back and sees us go. He fires at Marty and I and misses.

"You're dead, you little son of bitches!" Biff said, pressing a button which calls for security.

Hallway...

Marty and I run out of the room and see the elevator. We run to it, just as 3-D, Match and Skinhead come out of it.

"Hey, get back here!" 3-D said.

"Hey, hey!" Match said.

Marty and I run to the stairs and run down them. The gang follows us. Marty and I switch to the other flight of stairs and climb back up. Biff's cronies do not realize we've done this and carry on downwards. Marty and I, now back at the top of the stairs, go out onto the roof. Biff enters. He sees the door to the roof closing and realizes where Marty and I are.

Roof...

Marty and I run to the edge of the roof and we look down. Biff approaches us.

"Go ahead, kids. Jump. Suicide'll be nice and neat." Biff said, looking between Marty and I.

"What if we don't?" Marty asked.

Biff pulls out the gun and points it at Marty and I.

"Lead poisoning." Biff said, smirking.

"What about the police, Biff? They're gonna match up the bullet with that gun." Marty said, looking down again with me.

"Kid, I own the police! Besides, they couldn't match up the bullet that killed your old man." Biff said, looking at Marty.

"You son of a bitch!" Marty said, angrily.

"I suppose it's poetic justice - two McFlys with the same gun. And you know what's even better? I get to kill someone that is similar to a McFly."

Looking down again, Marty and I jumped off the roof. Biff looks at us with a 'what the hell?' look and approaches the roof. He chuckles to himself. Then he sees Marty and I hovering in mid-air! It turns out that we're standing on the DeLorean.

"What the hell?" Biff asked, looking at the flying Delorean.

Doc opens the door of the car and it hits Biff on the head, knocking him out. Marty and I climbed in.

"Nice one Doc! You're not going to believe this, we've got to go back to 1955!" Marty said, happily.

"We've got to go back to November 12th, 1955. The day you sent Marty and I back to the future!" I said, smiling.

"I don't believe it!" Doc said, at a loss for words.

The DeLorean flies away from the Pleasure Paradise.

DeLorean...

Doc is inputting the date in the time panel.

"That's right, Doc. November 12th, 1955." Marty said.

"Unbelievable, that old Biff could have chosen that particular date. It could mean that, that point in time inherently contains some sort of cosmic significance. Almost as if it were the junction point for the entire space-time continuum." Doc said, annoyed.

"There are two other junction points for the entire space-time continuum. Where Donna turning left or right at a junction decides the fate of the universe. Along with the base code of the universe being June 26th, 2010. Which is the wedding day of Amelia Pond and Rory Williams." I said, looking at Doc.

"On the other hand, it could just be an amazing coincidence that November 12th 1955 is the third junction point, Jared." Doc said, while the time display changes to JAN 01 1885 12.00AM. "Damn, gotta fix that thing!" He bangs it and it changes back to NOV 12 1955 06.00AM. "All right, time circuits on."

"What do you mean, time circuits on? Doc, we're not going back now?" Marty asked.

"Yep." Doc said, smiling.

"Doc, what about Jennifer, what about Einstein? We can't just leave them here!"

"Don't worry Marty, assuming we succeed in our mission this alternative 1985 will be changed back to the real 1985, instantaneously transforming around Jennifer and Einie. Jennifer and Einie will be fine, and they will have absolutely no memory of this horrible place!"

"Doc, Jared, what if we don't succeed?" Marty asked, looking between Doc and I.

"We must succeed! Otherwise, we'll be giving the Trickster what he wants without his influence. Absolute chaos due to no one being able to protect the Earth." I said, letting out a sigh.

Hill Valley – 1955...

The DeLorean arrives just outside of where they are beginning to build Lyon Estates. Doc, Marty, and I get out of the car.

"Ah, this is heavy Doc. I mean it's like I was just here yesterday with Jared." Marty said, in awe.

"You were here yesterday with Jared, Marty. You were." Doc said.

"It's amazing. I know it is." I said, running to the billboard with Doc and Marty.

"All right, sunrise should be in about 22 minutes." Doc said, going back to the DeLorean. "Both of you go into town, and track down Young Biff and tail him. Sometime today, Old Biff will show up and give young Biff the almanac. Above all the two of you must not interfere with that event. You both must let Old Biff believe he's succeeded so he'll leave 1955 and return the DeLorean back to the future."

"Right." Marty said.

"That does make sense." I said, grabbing Marty's hand.

"Once Old Biff has gone, grab the almanac any way you can. Remember all of our futures depend on this!" Doc said, looking between Marty and I.

"You don't have to remind us of that, Doc!" Marty said, happily.

"Here's some binoculars and walkie-talkies so we can keep in contact. Jared, use your phone as a backup in case you lose the binoculars and the walkie talkies." Doc said, passing Marty a pair of binoculars and two sets of Gekota walkie talkies. "I'll stay here and try to repair the shortened time circuits. That way we don't risk anyone else stealing the time machine, and I won't risk accidentally running into my other self."

"Your other self?" Marty asked.

"Yes! There are now 2 of me here... 2 of Jared here..." Doc said, looking at Marty. "...and there are 2 of you here." He runs down the street with Marty and I following him. "The other me, is the Dr Emmett Brown from 1955, the younger me..." He turns around and runs back to look at us. "...that helps the younger you and the younger Jared get back to 1985! Remember the lightning bolt at the clock tower?"

"Yeah." Marty said, smiling.

"I do." I said, sadly.

"That event doesn't happen until tonight, so you must be very careful not to run into your other selves. Let me give you some money." Doc said, pulling out a case, and opening it. Inside are various money bills from different times. He finds two notes from 1955 and gives them to Marty and I. "Have to be prepared for all monetary possibilities! Both of you, get yourselves some 50's clothes."

"Check Doc." Marty said.

Marty and I leave, then Doc calls after us.

"Something inconspicuous!" Doc yelled.

Mason Street...

Marty and I are wearing leather coats, shades, hats. Very not inconspicuous. From this point on when Marty, Doc, and I talk, we are on our Gekota walkie-talkies.

"Doc, come in Doc, this is Marty and Jared, over." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"Roger, Marty, Jared, this is Doc. Are you there?" Doc asked, his voice coming out of the Gekota walkie talkies.

Marty looks through the binoculars and I took out my iPhone 15 Pro Max and had the camera out at 5x Zoom. We're looking at a house, filled with garden ornaments and a sign - 'No Trespassers - Violators Will Be Prosecuted. This Means You!'.

"Yeah Doc, we're at the address." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie, and looking at the front door. "It's the only Tannen in the book...but I don't think it's Biff's house. It looks like some old lady lives here."

"Nope. Biff lives here." I said, through my Gekota walkie talkie, while Biff leaves with his house. "He lives with his grandmother and she owns the house."

Marty and I can hear Grandma Tannen inside the house as Marty is looking through the binoculars and I am looking at it through my iPhone 15 Pro Max's camera.

"Biff!" Grandma Tannen said, nearby.

"Yeah?" Biff asked.

"Where're you going Biff?"

"I'm going to get my car Grandma!"

"When are you coming back? My feet hurt and I want you to rub my toes some more."

"Shut up, you old bag." Biff said, talking to himself.

Sidewalk...

Biff walks a few yards down the street when a red ball lands at his feet. He picks it and 5 kids come along to him.

"Give us our ball back!" The kids said, at the same time.

"What ball?" Biff asked, holding the red ball.

"That ball!"

"What ball are you talking about?"

"Give us our ball back!"

"Oh, is this your ball?"

"Yeah!"

Marty and I crouched behind a car to avoid being seen. My TARDIS key with the perception filter on top no longer works due to the main timeline no longer existing due to the almanac still being around.

"Is this your ball, you want it back?" Biff asked, still holding the red ball.

"Yeah!" The kids said, at the same time.

Biff throws the red ball into a gutter on a house.

"Well go get it! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha." Biff said, walking away from the group of kids.

"Doc, Jared's right, it is Biff's house, we're on him. Over." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Courthouse Square...

Biff walks down the street. Marty and I follow, hiding behind cars. We are not seen by Biff. Biff walks between some kids throwing a ball around.

"Hey!" A kid yelled.

Biff walks over to his car, where Terry the mechanic has fixed it. It's the same Terry from 2015 who asked Marty and I to donate money to save the clock tower- he's 60 years younger, here.

"Looking good Terry." Biff said, happily.

"Hey Biff, she's all fixed up just like you wanted, but I couldn't get it started! You got some kind of a kill switch on this thing?" Terry asked.

2015 Biff is behind a tree. He watches as 1955 Biff opens the car door and gets in.

"No, you just got to have the right touch. Nobody can start this car but me." Biff said, smiling.

"The bill comes to $302 and 57 cents..." Terry said.

"300 bucks?" Biff asked, getting out of the car. "300 bucks for a couple of dents? No, hey, that's bullshit Terry."

"No Biff, it was horseshit, the whole car was filled with it." Terry said, as 2015 Biff remembers this. "I had to pay Old Man Jones 80 bucks to haul it away!"

"Old Man Jones? He probably resold it too! Now I ought to get something for that." Biff said.

"Wanna get something for it? Well, go inside, you can call Old Man Jones and if you want us to give you a refund..."

"It's 300 bucks Terry! If I catch the guys who caused this, I'll break their necks!"

Marty and I get into the back of the car unseen and we cover ourselves with a sheet. Cut to 2015 Biff as 1955 Biff and Terry enter the Western Auto Stores shop.

"The manure! I remember that!" 2015 Biff said, happily.

As 2015 Biff walks off, 1955 Biff and Terry come out of the store. Biff pushes past a kid on a scooter. Terry is holding 4 cans. They're in the middle of their conversation.

"...4 cans of Valvoline." Terry said.

"4 cans for a $300 job?" Biff asked.

"I can't even have lunch..."

"I should be getting a case or more out of you for a 300 buck job."

They keep arguing as Biff throws the cans in the back of the car, where they land on Marty and I.

"It's the last time I ever do you a favor! Last time!" Terry yelled.

Across the street...

Lorraine and her friend Babs leave Ruth's clothes shop. They have a box and are laughing happily. Lorraine opens the box and pulls out the dress she will wear to the dance that night. Biff is watching them.

"It's perfect Lorraine!" Babs said, happily.

"Oh, look how good it is, it looks so good!" Lorraine said, excitedly.

Terry drives off as Biff goes over to the girls.

"Well lookie what we got here. Pretty nice dress, Lorraine." Biff said, lifting up Lorraine's skirt. "Although, you'd look better wearing nothing at all."

"Biff, why don't you take a long walk off a short pier?" Lorraine asked.

"Hey listen, Lorraine. There's that dance at school tonight. Right now, my car's all fixed. I'd figured that I'd cut you a break and give you the honour of going with the best-looking guy in school." Biff said.

"Well, I'm busy tonight, Biff."

"Doing what?"

"Washing my hair."

"That's as funny as a screen door on a battleship."

Biff's Car...

"It's 'screen door on a submarine', you dork." Marty said, under his breath.

"Only an idiot would get that wrong." I said, rolling my eyes.

Sidewalk...

"Look Biff, someone already asked me to the dance." Lorraine said, looking at Biff.

"Who, that bug George McFly?" Biff asked.

"I'm going with Calvin Klein, OK?"

"Calvin Klein?" Biff asked, grabbing Lorraine by her shoulders and turns her to face him. "No, that's not OK. You're going with me, understand?"

"Get your cooties off of me!" Lorraine said, terrified.

"When are you going to get it through that thick skull of yours Lorraine, you're my girl!"

"Biff Tannen, I wouldn't be your girl even if..." Lorraine said, pausing for a moment to think. "...even if you had a million dollars!"

Lorraine kicks Biff in the leg.

"Argh!" Biff said, and Lorraine hits him over the head with the box. "Oh!" Lorraine and Babs run off as he runs into the middle of the road, causing a car to swerve slightly to avoid hitting him. "Yes you will, Lorraine! It's you and me, Lorraine!"

A car narrowly misses Biff.

"Watch your back!" The car driver said, angrily.

"It's meant to be! Someday you'll marry me! Someday you'll be my wife!" Biff said, turning to his car after Lorraine and Babs run off to see 2015 Biff in his car.

1955 Biff doesn't recognize him as his future self.

"You always had your way with women, Biff." 2015 Biff said.

"Get the hell outta my car, old man!" 1955 Biff yelled.

"Do you want to marry that girl, Biff? I can help make it happen."

"Oh yeah. And who are you? Miss Lonely Hearts?"

"Just get in the car, butthead."

"Who are you calling butthead, butthead?" 1955 Biff asked, while 2015 Biff starts the car and his younger self is surprised. "How did you know how to do that? Nobody could start this car but me."

"Just get into the car, Tannen. Today's your lucky day." 2015 Biff said.

Tannen Residence...

The car, driven by 2015 Biff, drives up towards the garage. The backs of the heads of both Biffs are visible.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, watch where you're going old man! If you break this car, I'm gonna kill you!" 1955 Biff said, as the car enters the garage and 2015 Biff stops it. His face is visible, 1955 Biff is facing away. "This cost me 300 bucks!"

"Would you shut up about the car?" 2015 Biff asked.

"Ay, and another thing, how do you know where I live?"

"Let's just say we're related, Biff. And that being the case, I got a little present for you." 2015 Biff said, while Marty and I peered up from the back of the car to witness what's going on - we are not seen. "Something that'll make you rich. You wanna be rich, don't ya?"

"Oh yeah, sure, right, that's rich, ha ha, you're gonna make me rich!" 1955 Biff said, scoffing.

"You see this book?" 2015 Biff asked, as Marty and I ducked down again. "This book tells the future. It tells the events of every major sports event til the end of the century. Football, baseball, horse races, boxing...the information in here is worth millions, and I'm giving it to you."

2015 Biff passes the book to 1955 Biff. Obviously 1955 Biff thinks this is a load crap.

"Well, that's very nice, thank you very much. Now why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?" 1955 Biff asked.

2015 Biff gives 1955 Biff a slap across the head, "It's leave, you idiot! 'Make like a tree, and leave'. You sound like a damn fool when you say it wrong!"

"Alright then, leave!" 1955 Biff said, throwing the book in the back of the car. 2015 Biff catches it. "And take your book with you!"

"Don't you get it? You could make a fortune with this book, let me show you." 2015 Biff said, turning on the radio.

2015 Biff is looking through the sports almanac to find the result.

"UCLA trail 17 to 16! It's 4th and 11 with only 18 seconds left of this game. I'd say it's all over for UCLA!" A radio announcer said, over the speaker.

"Bet you a million bucks UCLA win at 19 to 17." 2015 Biff said.

"What, are you deaf old man? He just said it was over! You lost!" 1955 Biff yelled.

"Oh yeah?" 2015 Biff asked, turning the volume up.

"Here comes Decker with the kick, it's up, it looks good folks, it looks very good, field goal! UCLA wins 19 to 17!" The radio announcer said, through the speaker.

As the announcer keeps talking, 1955 Biff looks at his future self in amazement.

"Alright, pops. What's the gag? How did you know what the score was gonna be?" 1955 Biff asked.

"I told you, it's in this book! All you gotta do is bet on the winner, and you'll never lose." 2015 Biff said, handing the book to 1955 Biff.

"Alright, I'll take a look at it." 1955 Biff said, throwing the almanac in the back, it lands near Marty and I.

Marty is about to grab it when 2015 Biff grabs the book without seeing Marty and I.

"You damned fool!" 2015 Biff said, while he and his younger self get out of the car. "Never, never leave this book lying around! Don't you have a safe?" He realizes what his younger self doesn't have. "No, you don't have a safe. Get a safe! Keep it locked up, and until then keep it on you like this."

2015 Biff puts the book in 1955 Biff's back jeans pocket.

"Hey, what're ya doing?" 1955 Biff asked.

"And don't tell anyone about it either. Oh, and there's one more thing." 2015 Biff said, and 1955 Biff closes the garage door, and the Biffs leave the garage. "One day, some kids, or a crazy wild-eyed scientist who claims to be a scientist is gonna come around asking about that book..."

They walk off, continuing their conversation. Marty and I tried to open the door - but it's locked! We looked up at the windows, but they're far too small for us to climb out of.

"We're trapped!" Marty said, getting his walkie-talkie out. "Doc, come in Doc!"

(Open POV)

Lyon Estates...

"Marty, Jared, what's the report?" Doc asked.

"Biff's gone!" Jared said, his voice coming out of the walkie talking.

Garage...

"He's got the book, the old man's gone too. We're locked in Biff's garage." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Lyon Estates...

"You've gotta fly the DeLorean over here and get us the hell out of here." Marty said, his voice coming out of his Gekota walkie talkie. "The address is 1809 Maple Street."

Lyon Estates...

"I can't take the DeLorean out in the daylight. But don't worry, Marty, Jared. Somehow, I'll get over there." Doc said.

Garage...

"Whoa, Doc. Wait a minute, Doc." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie. "Hey Doc!" They get no answer, Marty sighs. "Perfect!"

Time Lapse – Evening...

Biff leaves the house and heads for the garage.

"Biff! Biff, where're you going now?" Grandma Tannen asked, nearby.

"I told you Grandma, I'm going to the dance!" Biff yelled.

Marty and Jared are listening in the garage.

"When are you coming home?" Grandma Tannen asked, nearby.

"Shit." Jared said, sadly.

"The dance!" Marty said, looking at Jared.

"I'll get home when I get home!" Biff said, entering the garage.

Marty and Jared hide in the back of the car.

"Don't forget to turn off the garage lights!" Grandma Tannen said, nearby.

Biff gets in his car and drives off. As he leaves the Tannen house, Doc rides past on a bicycle. Doc rides up the driveway to the empty garage and rings the bell.

"Marty, Jared, Marty, Jared! Marty! Jared!" Doc said, leaving the garage. "Marty, Jared, Marty, Jared? Damn!" He tears the price tag off his hat. "Where are those kids?"

Biffy's Car...

He's driving to the dance. A tunnel lies ahead. Marty and Jared turned on their Gekota walkie-talkies.

"Doc, Doc, come in!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Courthouse Square...

"Come in Doc!" Marty said, his voice coming out of Doc's Gekota walkie talkie.

"Marty, Jared, Marty, Jared, come in!" Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Biff's Car...

"Doc!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

The car enters the tunnel, meaning the radio and the Gekota walkie-talkies are cut off temporarily.

"Shit." Jared said, sadly.

Courthouse Square...

"Marty?" Doc asked, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie, before talking normally. "Oh my..." He spots the DeLorean from Part 1 under the covers and goes over to it. "Great Scott!" He lifts up the covers and peers in. "Oh my God."

Biff's Car...

The Gekota walkie-talkies seem to be working again.

"Doc, Doc, come in!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Courthouse Square...

"Marty, Jared, what happened to the both of you? I went to Biff's house and neither of you were there." Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Biff's Car...

"You must have just missed us. We're in the back of Biff's car. He's on his way to the Enchantment Under The Sea Dance." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Courthouse Square...

"Marty, Jared, listen, we're going to have to abort this entire plan, it's getting much too dangerous!" Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"There's no need to worry, Doc. The book is on Biff's dashboard." Jared said, his voice coming out of Doc's Gekota walkie talkie.

Biff's Car...

The car has just left the tunnel.

"We'll grab it as soon as we get to the school." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walking talkie.

Courthouse Square...

"Marty! Jared! The two of you must be extremely careful not to run into your other selves." Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

1955 Doc appears. He makes some adjustments to his 'weather experiment'. Neither Doc sees the other.

"Our other selves?" Marty asked, his voice coming out of Doc's Gekota walkie talkie.

"Yes! Remember, your mother is at that exact same dance with you and Jared! Yeah!" Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"Yeah, this could get heavy Doc."

"Heavy, heavy." Doc said, muttering to himself before talking into his Gekota walkie talkie. "Whatever happens, neither of you must not let your other self see either of you. The consequences could be disastrous."

"Excuse me, sir. Yes, you with the hat." 1955 Doc said.

1985 Doc pulls down his hat so that the 1955 Doc won't recognize him.

"Who? Me?" 1985 Doc asked.

"Yes, be a pal, and hand my five-eighths wrench out of that toolbox." 1955 Doc said.

"Five-eighths? Don't you mean three-quarters?" 1985 Doc asked, handing 1955 Doc the wrench.

"Why, you're right."

"I presume you're conducting some sort of weather experiment."

"That's right. How did you know that?"

"Oh, I happen to have a little experience in this area."

"Yes, well, I'm hoping to see some lightning tonight, although the weatherman says there is not going to be any rain."

"There's going to be plenty of rain all right. Wind, thunder, lightning. It's going to be one hell of a storm." 1985 Doc said, happily.

"Well, thanks. Nice talking to you. Maybe we'll bump into each other some time again in the future." 1955 Doc said.

"Or in the past." 1985 Doc said, getting on his bike and riding off, ringing his bell.

1955 Doc looks up. That ring sounded very familiar.

High School...

Biff gets out of his car. Marty and Jared watch him walk off, and Jared tries to grab the almanac. Biff suddenly remembers it, and comes back for it. Marty and Jared hide away just in time. Biff re-enters the building, and Marty and Jared follow him in. They watch Biff enter the hall where the dance is being held, but Marty and Jared stay outside.

"Doc, Doc, come in!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Marty and Jared notice something. Marty uses the binoculars and Jared uses his iPhone 15 Pro Max's camera to check.

"I can't help but feel bad for him." Jared said, while Marty's father, George, dances by himself. "George is unaware that he'll become a hero."

"Yeah." Marty said, grabbing Jared's hand.

George is there waiting to go and meet up with Lorraine, 'Calvin', and Jared. Marty and Jared entered the hall and traveled through the dancers. They spot Biff and his gang - 3-D, Match and Skinhead - drinking liquor and reading a naughty magazine called Ooh La La. The Almanac is in Biff's pocket.

"This is going to get rough." Jared said, sadly.

"Yeah. It is heavy." Marty said, using the binoculars as Jared uses his phone's camera to see Skinhead nudging Biff.

Marty and Jared see that Skinhead saw Mr. Strickland watching them.

Biff and his gang walk off as Strickland walks to them. Marty and Jared pulled down their hats and followed them. Outside, Marty and Jared spots Biff and his gang standing on some stairs. Biff is reading something. 3-D is holding a bottle of liquor.

"Where are those punks? Calvin Klein and Jared Shay?" Biff asked, nearby.

"How am I supposed to know? I ain't their secretaries." Skinhead said, nearby.

"Well, go find them. They cost me three hundred bucks damage to my car, and I owe them knuckle sandwiches. Get going!"

"Here you go Biff!" 3-D said, offering Biff the bottle before his gang start to walk off. "You coming?"

"I'm reading." Biff said.

The gang walk past Marty and Jared but don't see them. Marty and Jared see a familiar car approach. It's 1955 Doc's Packard - with Marty and Jared from Part 1.

1955 Marty, 1955 Jared, and 1955 Lorraine inside. Marty and Jared turn to Biff. The almanac is in Biff's pocket. They jump down and fall behind Biff. Biff hears a sound, but thinks nothing of it and goes back to his book. Marty and Jared almost has the almanac when Mr. Strickland walks up.

"Well, well, well, Mr Tannen. How nice to see you here." Strickland said.

"Why Mr Strickland, it's nice to see you sir." Biff said.

"Is that liquor I smell, Tannen?" Strickland asked.

"Uh, I wouldn't know, I don't know what liquor smells like 'coz I'm too young to drink it." Biff said.

"I see. And what have we here?" Strickland asked, grabbing the almanac from Biff. "Sports statistics, interesting subject. Homework, Tannen?"

"No, it ain't homework, 'coz, uh, I'm ain't at home." Biff said, chuckling.

Strickland doesn't find it so amusing and pushes Biff.

"You've got a real attitude problem, Tannen. Watch it! Or one day, I'll have you right where I want you, in detention. Slacker!" Strickland said, walking away.

Marty and Jared follow him. Biff goes the other way. Strickland walks past the Packard, Marty and Jared freeze beside it.

"Jesus, you smoke too?" 1955 Marty asked, nearby.

"Marty, you're beginning to sound just like my mother!" Lorraine said, nearby.

1985 Marty and 1985 Jared creep past the car unseen as we hear Lorraine and 1955 Marty speaking.

"When I have kids, I'm going to let them do anything they want. Anything at all." Lorraine said, happily.

"I'd like to have that in writing." 1955 Marty said, in the car.

"Yeah, me too." 1985 Marty said, outside the car.

"Same here." 1955 Jared said, in the car.

"Ditto on that." 1985 Jared said, outside the car.

1985 Marty and 1985 Jared walk off to catch Strickland.

"Marty, why are you so nervous?" Lorraine asked, nearby.

Strickland's Office...

The sign says 'S S Strickland, Discipline'. Marty and Jared peer in and see Strickland pouring himself a drink. Strickland puts the almanac on his desk. Marty quietly opens the door and creeps inside with Jared, unheard. The door slowly closes. Marty and Jared get to the desk.

Marty moves a little American flag on the desk out of the way and leans forward to grab the almanac. However the door closes and Strickland gets up. He goes to the door, wondering what happened, then opens and closes it again before sitting down. As he walks past his desk, Marty and Jared are underneath it. Strickland hears something outside and moves his chair to the window to take a closer look. Marty tries to grab the almanac, but just as he does Strickland moves back again, hurting Marty's hand. Strickland finishes his drink, as Marty has his hat in his mouth to stop himself from making a noise and giving himself away. Strickland leans forward and Marty 'rescues' his hand. Strickland gets up and takes the almanac. He leaves and throws the almanac in the bin. Once he's sure Strickland has gone, Marty gets it out of the bin with Jared by his side.

"Yes!" Marty said, flicking through the book, but it's not the almanac. It's Biff's girl magazine, with naked women in it, called Ooh La La. It seems Biff was hiding the magazine inside the almanac cover. "No! Ooh La La?" He pauses for a moment and Jared walks over to Marty holding the girl magazine. "Ooh La La? Ooh La La? Jared, did you know Biff would do this?"

"Yes. He's smarter than he looks. But I forgot where the goddamn almanac is." Jared said, letting out a sigh, and talking into his Gekota walkie talkie. "Doc, Doc!"

Marty and Jared are standing by the window, and Doc's Packard from Part 1 is outside. Outside, George walks up to Lorraine's car. Marty and Jared do not see or hear him.

"Hey you, get your damn hands off her!" George said, realizing who is in the car. "Oh!"

"Doc, dammit, come in." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"Marty, Jared, what's up?" Doc asked, his voice coming out of the Gekota walkie talkies.

"Doc, Doc, we're in trouble, we blew it!"

Lyon Estates...

"Where's the book?" Doc asked, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"I dunno, and neither does Jared. Biff must still have it with him, all we have is the cover." Marty said, his voice coming out of Doc's Gekota walkie talkie.

Strickland's Office...

"But where's Biff?" Doc asked, his voice coming out of the Gekota walkie talkies.

Outside, Biff has confronted George.

"Alright, McFly, you're asking for it, and now you're gonna get it." Biff said.

"I dunno!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"Neither do I! It's been a long day, Doc!" Jared said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"Well, do either of you have any idea where he is?" Doc asked, his voice coming out of the Gekota walkie talkies.

"No, he could be anywhere by now!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Lyon Estates...

"Marty, Jared, the entire future depends on the both of you finding Biff and getting that book back!" Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Strickland's Office...

Outside, Biff gets out of the car. George tries to punch him, but Biff grabs his arm and twists it, causing George to let out cries of pain.

"We know! We just don't know where..." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"Stop it, stop it Biff! You're gonna break his arm! Stop it!" Lorraine said, angrily.

"Oh yeah! The heroic punch!" Jared said, happily.

Marty and Jared have heard Lorraine this time.

"Of course!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie. "We gotta go, we got one chance, my old man's about to deck Biff!"

Outside...

George hits Biff in the face. Biff falls down to the floor. George looks at his fist with a 'I can't believe it! I did it!' expression and then turns to Lorraine.

"Yes!" Marty said, excitedly. "These walkie talkies are so good. Who is the frog anyway?"

"That's Gekota. It's a children's toy in Academy City. The Railgun loves this thing. I gave a set of Gekota walkie talkies to Doc earlier. It's the ones we're using now." Jared said, smiling. "Also, your dad decking biff never gets old, Marty."

"There's a fight over here, come on guys!" A student said, nearby.

"Talk about deja vu." Marty said, looking at Jared.

"Are you OK?" George asked, helping Lorraine up and they walked hand in hand to the gym.

A crowd, including 1955 Marty, 1955 Jared, and the Wallet Guy has developed. 1955 Marty checks his photograph and runs off with 1955 Jared. 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared go over to Biff. And that is after 1985 Marty's parents, 1955 Jared, and 1955 Marty have left.

"OK everybody, let's back up now, huh, let's backup, just everybody back up. Give him a little bit of room, OK, a little bit of air. It's OK. We know CPR..." Marty said, looking up at the wallet guy. "...we know CPR."

Biff is beginning to wake up, "Hey..."

"What's CPR?" The wallet guy asked.

Biff wakes up and looks at Marty and Jared.

"You two!" Biff said, looking between Marty and Jared.

Jared punches Biff - the bully falls unconscious. Marty takes the Almanac out of Biff's jacket.

"He's fine." Marty said, running off with Jared.

"Hey, did you just take his wallet? They just took that guy's wallet!" The wallet guy yelled.

Lyon Estates...

"Doc, success, we got it!" Marty said, his voice coming out of Doc's Gekota walkie talkie.

"Thank goodness." Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie. "Great, Marty, Jared. As soon as I reload the fusion generator, I'll meet both of you on the roof of the high school gym."

School...

"On the roof, 10-4." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Marty and Jared turn the corner to meet up with Biff's gang.

"Hey, it's them!" 3-D said.

"And they're in disguises!" Skinhead said.

"Guys, what's that?" Marty asked, pointing in the other direction, Biff's gang turns and looks, and he and Jared push past them like they did with Griff's gang in 2015.

Marty and Jared run off. The gang gets up.

"Come on, let's get them!" 3-D said, angrily.

Lyon Estates...

Meanwhile the DeLorean takes off and accidentally hits the Lyon Estates billboard.

"Damn!" Doc said, accidentally turning the time circuits on, and the bump causes the Destination Time to turn to JAN 01 1885 12 00.

Doc doesn't notice though. The DeLorean flies off with a flag pennant attached to the rear wheel.

School – The Dance...

Marty and Jared enter the dance. Marvin Berry is on the stage singing. 1955 Marty and 1955 Jared are also there, with 1955 Marty playing the guitar and 1955 Jared playing the drums, and George and Lorraine are there dancing. George waves to 1955 Marty up on the stage. 1955 Marty waves back.

"I'm just a fool, a fool in love, with you." Marvin said, singing.

George and Lorraine kiss. Biff's gang enter the dance, Marty and Jared hide underneath a table, their hats fall off and they grab them just in time.

"Let's do another one!" Marvin said, nearby.

"Where'd they go? They just came in here?" Skinhead asked.

"Something that really cooks." 1955 Marty said, looking at 1955 Jared. "What song do you want us to do?"

"I was thinking of rock and roll. Let's do Johnny B. Goode." 1955 Jared said, holding his drumsticks up in the air.

3-D spots 1955 Marty and 1955 Jared on the stage about to play Johnny B Goode, "Look. How'd they get up on stage?"

"I dunno. But when they get down, we're gonna nail them." Skinhead said.

"How the hell'd they change their clothes so fast?" Match asked.

"...an oldie where we come from." 1955 Marty said, nearby before looking at the Starlighters. "All right guys, it's a blues riff in B, watch us for the changes, and uh, try and keep up, OK?"

Biff's gang goes up to the side of the stage as 1955 Marty and 1955 Jared start to play. They're there waiting for them to finish the song before they nail them. Only 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared sees them.

"Shit. Doc!" Jared said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

DeLorean...

"Doc, come in!" Marty said, his voice coming out of Doc's Gekota walkie talkie.

"Marty, Jared, come in!" Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

School – The Dance...

"Listen Doc, Biff's guys chased us into the gym and they're gonna jump...us!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

DeLorean...

"Then you both should get out of there!" Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"No, Doc, we're not talking about us. We're talking about our other selves, the ones that are up on stage playing Johnny B. Goode!" Jared said, his voice coming out of Doc's walkie talkie.

"Great Scott! Your other selves will miss the lightning bolt at the clock tower, both of you won't get back to the future and we'll have a major paradox!" Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

School – The Dance...

"Wait, wait, a paradox? You mean one of those things that could destroy the universe?" Marty asked, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"Yup. That will cause a paradox. And I have been through a lot of paradoxes over the years while traveling with the Doctor." Jared said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

DeLorean...

"At least you have experience with paradoxes, Jared. Marty, you and Jared have to stop those guys at all costs but without being seen by your other selves - or your parents!" Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

School – The Dance...

"10-4!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Parking Lot...

Biff wakes up again, "Where are they?"

"Who?" The wallet guy asked.

"Calvin Klein and Jared Shay." Biff said.

"Who?"

"The guys with the hats. Where are they?"

"Oh." The wallet guy said, pointing towards the gym. "They went that way." Biff runs to the gym. "I think they took your wallet!" He turns to the crowd. "I think they took his wallet."

The Dance...

"Go Johnny go, go, go; Johnny B Goode." 1955 Marty said, singing.

1985 Marty hums along for a few moments.

"I'm not half bad." Marty said, looking at Jared.

"Shit." Jared said, while he and Marty saw Biff's gang again.

Biff's gang are on the side platform, with weapons, waiting for 1955 Marty and 1955 Jared to finish so they can beat them up.

"Marty, there are sandbags." Jared said, pointing at the sandbags above Biff's gang. "Let's go."

"Right." Marty said, as he and Jared climbed the rigging above the stage and slowly crawled across it.

1955 Marty is playing his guitar solo with 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared, almost hidden, climbing along the top. They are unseen. Marvin makes his phone call to his cousin Chuck. 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared rotate turns, trying to untie the rope holding up the sandbags.

"Come on..." Marty said, managing it, and the sandbags fall on Biff's gang.

Biff's gang falls unconscious.

1955 Marty goes a bit overboard, and by the time he's finished playing some rock music, the dance is silent, looking at him. 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared climb down. 1955 Marty looks at the crowd. Strickland is covering his ears.

"I guess you guys aren't ready for that yet. But your kids are gonna love it." 1955 Marty said, happily.

1985 Marty and 1985 Jared leave the stage.

"Hey Doc, success, everything's cool." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"Great, I'll be landing on the school roof in about 1 minute." Doc said, his voice coming out of the Gekota walkie talkies.

"Doc, Marty and I will be there." Jared said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie. "I can't wait till you're back, Railgun. We need to catch up soon."

Hallway...

1985 Marty and 1985 Jared exit through the door. 1955 Marty and 1955 Jared exit, but sees Lorraine before they get to the door.

"Lorraine." 1955 Marty said.

"Hey Lorraine. What's up?" 1955 Jared asked, leaning against the wall.

"Marty, Jared, that was very interesting music." Lorraine said, looking at 1955 Marty and 1955 Jared.

1985 Marty and 1985 Jared watch this through the door.

"I hope the both of you don't mind, but George asked if he could take me home." Lorraine said.

"Great good, good, Loraine, we had a feeling about you two." 1955 Marty said, doing a fake punch at Lorraine.

"I have a feeling too." Lorraine said.

Outside...

Biff appears at the door next to 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared, who are still watching them.

"Hey buttheads! You both think those stupid disguises will get by me? Let's have it out. The three of us, right now." Biff said.

"No thanks." Marty said, starting to walk away with Jared.

"What's the matter, where are you two going?" Biff asked, looking between Marty and Jared.

Inside...

1955 Marty and 1955 Jared head for the door, and then 1955 Marty turns back to the couple.

"Oh, one other thing..." 1955 Marty said.

Outside...

"Are you, chicken? That's it, isn't it? Nothing but a little chicken." Biff said.

Marty turns around with Jared following close behind him.

"We need to go..." Jared said, sadly.

"Nobody calls me chick..." Marty said, looking at Biff.

1955 Marty and 1955 Jared exits the gym, slamming the door on their future selves' heads and causing 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared to fall over. Neither Marty sees the other and neither Jared sees the other, and Biff luckily doesn't see that there's two of Marty and two of Jared. Biff turns to 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared. He can see that Marty has the almanac.

"What the hell?" Biff asked, taking the almanac. "You two steal my stuff?"

Biff kicks Marty in the stomach, then Jared in the stomach.

"Whoa!" Marty yelled.

"Ow..." Jared said, frowning.

"And this one's for my car!" Biff said, kicking Marty again, then Jared again.

Marty and Jared watch Biff get into his car. Marty and Jared get up, minus their hats (they just leave them there) and try to follow Biff, but Biff drives off.

(Jared's POV)

The Roof...

Marty and I head for the high school roof by running up the stairs, where we see Doc with the DeLorean.

"Hey! Doc! Marty and I blew it! Biff nailed us, took the book, and drove away with it in his car." I said, looking at Doc.

"It's my fault Doc, we should have gotten out of there sooner with me listening to Jared." Marty said. "He is the one with the foreknowledge."

"No time for that now, which way did he go?" Doc asked, looking between Marty and I.

"East, towards the River Road Tunnel." Marty said, pointing east.

"Both of you! Get in!"

River Road...

The DeLorean flies above Biff's car, unseen.

Marty gets out the binoculars, "There he is, Doc, Jared. Let's land on him and cripple his car."

"Marty, he's in a '46 Ford. We're in a DeLorean. He'd rip through us like we were tin foil." Doc said.

"What do we do? Since the cars have a 40 year time difference." I said, letting out a sigh.

"I have a plan." Doc said.

Biff's Car...

He drives along, not noticing the flying DeLorean almost right behind him. Biff has the radio on.

"Repeating tonight's earlier weather bulletin, a severe thunderstorm is heading for Hill Valley." The radio announcer said, through Biff's car speaker.

Marty opens the door to the DeLorean, while he and I put our left foots on our hoverboards, through the straps. Marty and I then take off and we grabbed onto the back of Biff's car.

"Serving Hill Valley and all of Hill County, you're tuned to KKHV, the voice of Hill Valley." The radio announcer said, while Biff adjusts the tuning a bit. Marty and I look at Doc and we give him a thumbs-up. Doc gives one back and then the DeLorean flies off. "Turning to the community calendar, the Hill Valley Women's Club Bake Sale will be held tomorrow afternoon from 2-5 at the Community Center on Horace Road." Marty and I move around the car until we're hanging onto the side of it. "For you sports fans out there, there was a lot of action today in college football. Here's what happened in the top 10. UCLA narrowly defeated Washington 19-17." Marty and I saw the Sports Almanac in the back of the car. "Michigan State crushed Minnesota 42-14." Biff grabs the almanac just as Marty and I try to grab it. "Ohio State beat Iowa 20-10. Michigan blanked Indiana 30-0."

Biff is checking these results in the almanac.

"Shit." Marty said, muttering to himself.

"Damn it." I said, sadly.

"Son of a bitch!" Biff said, angrily.

"Oklahoma ripped Ohio State 52-0." The radio announcer said, as Biff puts the almanac on the seat next to him while Marty and I spot our chance. "West Virginia lost to Pittsburgh 26-7." I quietly open the car door. "Maryland defeated Clemson 25-12. Repeating tonight's earlier weather bulletin, a severe thunderstorm is heading for Hill Valley."

Biff looks around and sees Marty and I. Marty and I tried to grab the almanac. Biff turns to face the front again, before suddenly realising who it is and turning round again. He grabs the book, as does Marty and I, and we are having a tug of war over it.

"Don't even... give me that book! Let it go!" Biff said, kicking Marty, then kicking me, and the almanac flies in the air, landing on Biff's windscreen. Marty and I are still holding onto the car, and Biff spots some barriers ahead. "Let go of the car!" He drives around in circles, but Marty, the almanac, and I stay attached to it. Biff drives forward, passing a sign - 'Tunnel Ahead'. Biff drives towards the tunnel edge, hoping to force Marty and I off. Marty and I get to the back of the car, and the side of the car is dented by the tunnel. Biff looks around to see no Marty and I. "That'll teach them."

Biff tries to grab the almanac, but as he does so he looks in the mirror and spots Marty and I. Marty and I make our way towards Biff. Biff elbows me and punches Marty, and then spots a truck approaching in the other direction. Biff drives past, and Marty and I use our overboards to escape - and then Marty grabs the almanac. Marty and I let go of Biff's car, with us stopping in the middle of the tunnel.

"Yes!" I said, excitedly.

"We did it." Marty said, and Biff gets to the edge of the tunnel and turns around.

Marty and I looked at the other end - it's some distance away.

"We need to go." I said, while Marty put the almanac inside his jacket and the two of us set off. "I can't believe this is the chase we're going with."

"Yeah. Me too." Marty said, as Biff revs up his car, puts his foot on the pedal and sets off after us. "Argh!" Biff is getting closer, he puts the pedal down again and laughs evilly. We are almost at the end of the tunnel but Biff is almost on us. "Woah!"

We are at the end of the tunnel, when the flag pennant trails down and Marty and I grab onto it. Doc, in the DeLorean, pulls Marty and I up to safety. Biff looks up in amazement.

"Go Doc!" Marty said, happily.

"We did it." I said, smiling.

"Hold on, Marty and Jared!" Doc said, looking down at Marty and I.

Biff sees a flying futuristic car and a kid on a hovering board. He's so mesmerized he doesn't see the truck in front of him until it's too late.

"Shit!" Biff yelled, crashing into the truck, and finds it's a manure truck.

"Ha, ha, ha, yeah!" Marty said, looking down at Biff.

"Manure! I hate manure!" Biff yelled.

Lyon Estates...

The DeLorean flies to the billboard, and Marty and I let go of the flag ribbon. We took our feet off the hoverboards and spoke to Doc over the Gekota walkie-talkies. The lightning storm is starting.

"Doc, is everything okay up there?" I asked, talking into my Gekota walkie talkie.

"10-4 Jared, but it's very miserable flying weather." Doc said, his voice coming out of my Gekota walkie talkie.

(Open POV)

DeLorean...

"I'm going to have to turn and make a landing from this direction. I'll have to circle 'round and make a long approach from the south. Have you both got the book?" Doc asked, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Street...

"In my hands, Doc. I got it in my hands!" Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

"Marty, we have to burn it!" Jared said, angrily.

"Right." Marty said, kicking up his hoverboard and spots an old bucket.

Marty puts the almanac in the bucket and takes out the matchbox he took from Biff's Pleasure Paradise. He lights a match and starts to burn the book. He then looks at the matchbox. The words are starting to change. Eventually they change from 'Biff's Pleasure Paradise' to 'Biff Auto Dealing'.

Jared took out his iPhone 15 Pro Max to see the contact information of Mikoto Misaka there when it was blank before.

Marty then pulls out the newspaper. The headline changes from 'George McFly Murdered' to 'George McFly Honored'.

Jared then took his TARDIS key out of my pocket to feel that it is glowing orange and it is burning really hot, meaning that he is a companion of the Doctor again.

"Doc, Jared, Doc, Jared the newspaper changed! Now my father's alive! That means everything's back to normal, right?" Marty asked, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie as he looked at Jared.

DeLorean...

Doc pulls out the newspaper he had. The headlines change from 'Emmett Brown Committed' to 'Emmett Brown Commended', 'Nixon To Seek Fifth Term' to 'Reagan To Seek Second Term' and 'Biffco Builds New Dioxin Plant' to 'Mayor Wilson Vetoes Zoning Bill'.

"Mission accomplished." Doc said, talking to himself.

Street...

"That means Jennifer's OK and Einie's OK, right?" Marty asked, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

DeLorean...

"That's right, Marty! It's the ripple effect, the future is back. Now let's go home!" Doc said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie.

Street...

"Right, Doc, Jared. Let's get our asses back to the future..." Marty said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie as lightning strikes, bringing down a tree. "Doc, Doc, are you OK?"

DeLorean...

"That was a close one, Marty, Jared, I almost bought the farm!" Doc said, talking into his walkie talkie.

Street...

"Doc, be careful!" Jared said, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie. "You don't want to get struck by lightning!"

But Doc does. The DeLorean is struck, causing it to spin around and accelerate until it reaches 88mph. With a flash the DeLorean disappears.

"Doc? Doc?" Marty asked, talking into his Gekota walkie talkie. "Doc, come in Doc. Doc, do you read me? Do you read me Doc? Come in Doc!"

The pennant, which had been attached to the DeLorean, lands on the floor.

"Oh no..." Jared said, while it starts to rain. "Marty, he's gone."

A van is approaching Marty and Jared. They don't notice.

"Jared, you're right. The Doc's gone!" Marty said, turning around with Jared to see the van pulling to a halt.

A man gets out.

"Marty? Jared?" Jack asks, as Marty and Jared turn around to face him, who is wearing his signature outfit of a buttoned up t-shirt, jeans, and a World War II coat.

"Huh?" Marty asked.

"Marty? Jared? Is that you?" Jack asked.

"Yeah?"

"Marty, Jared, I've got something for you. You have mail." Jack said, pulling the letter out.

"A letter for us? That's impossible." Marty said, looking at Jack. "Who the hell are you?"

"Captain Jack Harkness. I'm a friend of Jared here." Jack said, looking at Marty. "You see, Jared and I, we work for Torchwood. We've had that envelope in our possession at the Torchwood Hub for the past 70 years." Marty starts opening the letter. "It was given to us with the explicit instructions that it be delivered to young men with your descriptions..." Jared walked up to Jack to hug him. "...answering to the names of Marty and Jared, at this exact location, at this exact minute, November 12th 1955."

"Jack, it's so good to see you. How have you been?" Jared asked, letting go of Jack.

"Pretty good. You fell back on your timeline just to see me with Marty McFly." Jack said, laughing a lot.

"Did you say 70 years?" Marty asked, looking up at Jack.

"Yeah, 70 years, 2 months and 12 days to be exact." Jack said, sadly.

Marty and Jared read the bottom of the letter - it says ''Doc' Emmett L Brown, September 1st 1885'.

"Marty, the letter is from the Doc!" Jared said, reading the letter aloud. "'Dear Marty and Jared, if my calculations are correct, the two of you will receive this letter immediately after you both saw the DeLorean struck by lightning. First let me assure you that I am alive and well. I've been living happily these past eight months in the year 1885. The lightning bolt.'"

"1885?!" Marty exclaimed, looking at the bottom of the letter. "'September 1885!' Argh!"

"Jared, Marty, wait a minute. What is this all about? Did something happen to Doctor Emmett Brown?" Jack asked, looking between Marty and Jared.

"Yes! He's alive! The Doc's alive! He's in the old west but he's alive!" Marty said, excitedly.

"Jared, Marty. Tell me. Will you both be okay? Do you need any help reaching the Doc?"

"No, Jack. We're okay. Your vortex manipulator is still fried. You can't help us. Sorry." Jared said, letting out a sigh.

"He's right, Jack. I'm sorry. There's only one man who can help us." Marty said, grabbing Jared's hand.

Courthouse Square...

1955 Doc is at the clocktower. He's on it holding the cables. He watches the DeLorean from the first movie, with 1955 Marty and 1955 Jared inside, approach the clocktower. Doc finishes connecting everything and then slides down the rope.

"Argh!" Doc said, and the DeLorean hits 88mph and lets off blue flashes - it's about ready to travel through time.

Doc gets the cable out of the branch. Lightning strikes it, and the lightning causes electricity to go down the cables, which Doc reconnects just in time, getting himself a slight electric shock as he does so.

"Ahh!" Doc said, while the lightning enters the flux capacitor with 1955 Marty and 1955 Jared gets sent back to 1985 as the scientist dances with delight because the experiment was successful. "Yoo! It works! Ha, ha, ha!"

And then he turns to the Courthouse. After looking at it, he turns to his car - and 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared come running up to him.

"Doc! Doc! Doc! DOC! DOC!" Marty said, looking at Doc.

Doc spins around and sees 1985 Marty and 1985 Jared. He is in shock.

"AHH!" Doc said, looking between Marty and Jared.

"Doc, relax. Everything's okay. It's us! It's Marty and Jared!" Jared said, as Marty grabbed Doc's arms.

"No it can't be you two...I just sent you both back to the future!"

"We know, you did send us back to the future, but we're back, we're back from the future!" Marty said, happily.

"Great Scott!" Doc said, fainting in front of Marty and Jared.

"Doc. C'mon." Marty said, as he and Jared looked down at an unconscious Doc.
