Chapter 2

1 Year Later.....

(I know I just wanted to skip some time cause I really want to write about their time in the academy.)

Victoria's Pov (Lynette)

How time flies by it has been a year already and tommorow will be the day my sons will go and attend the academy.

In this past year my awakening has been spread throughout every realm, most people were quite happy while others were scared to the brink of death.

I had been managing as the empress better than I expected and although I have lots of work to do it's really fun, I kinda wish I would be able to thank those God forsaken elders for giving me a much better life.

While I was deep in thought I heard the guards announce that my sons were just outside the throne room.

I told the guards to let them in and they did, once the ginormous doors were opened I could see my four boys entering.

I smiled at them and signalled them to come closer, "Oh my it has only been a year and you're going to leave me so soon." I smiled but there's a hint of sadness in it.

"Imperial Moth-" "No" I cut George off, "I can't be a mother who cries about such small stuff and besides I was the one who told you to attend the academy." I looked at them with a determined look, "So I expect you to make me proud and if you do fall for a girl you must bring her back to me so I might see what her true intentions are okay?"

"Yes Imperial Mother!" They shouted in unison while saluting, I smiled while I allowed them to go back to their own palaces.

"Eunuch come here." I ordered and the shivering eunuch that was behind one of the pillars came out, he immediately got down and kowtowed to me.

"F-forgive me Y-your Majesty I d-did n-not mean to e-eaves drop on your conversation." He pleaded while I turn my gaze to him, "Invite all the nobles of every species here in the Heavenly Mystic Realm to come to the Imperial Palace this evening since I will hold a banquet for my sons before their departure tommorow."

He seemed shock but he got back to his senses, he bowed and said, "Ofcourse Your Majesty I'll go do as you say immediately." I nodded and signalled him that he may go already.

Some of the Noble Families Pov....

"Hurry up go find the best dress you can find to wear to Her Majesty's banquet."

In another family.....

"Son remember to be in good terms with the Princes."

In another one....

"Go get the most expensive gift to give the imperial family."

And so that is how the entire Heavenly Mystic Realm came into great chaos.

The Banquet.....

Victoria's Pov

It is time for the banquet to start and I'm currently being dressed by my maids, they put a little make up on my face since I keep telling them that I don't need any make up.

And so once I was done I got out of my chambers and saw that my four sons were already there waiting for me.

They escorted me to the throne room where the banquet will be held, two were in my right side and the other two were on my left side.

A normal maids Pov....

Maid 1: Did you see how Her Majesty looks!? She's so pretty she's like a goddess no! She's more beautiful than the any goddess.

Maid 2: I know I was really happy than Her Majesty has woken up or who knows what will happen to the world.

Maid 3: And the princes aswell they looked very handsome they certainly got it from their parents too bad the emperor had died.

Maid 1: Be quiet remember to not talk about the Late Emperor since it was declared taboo to ever mention anything related to him and remember the punishment will be public execution.

Back to Victoria's Pov

Once we were just outside the doors to the throne room the announcer had informed everybody about our arrival.

"Her Majesty the Empress and the four Princes have arrived." When the doors were unlocked I could see that all of them formed a line on each side of the room leaving the middle part to be empty in order for us to walk on.

We gladly entered and when we got to our thrones above the staircases we did not take a sit yet as we turned back to gaze on the people who were there.

"Thank you everyone for joining this banquet that I had prepared for today." I gave a slight smile since I have to keep my cold empress look to the public true.

"As you may all know tommorow my sons and some of the young men and women here will go and attend the Mystic Arcane Academy tommorow, so in order for us to have a great time before our children's departure I have held this banquet so I certainly want all of us to enjoy tonight in preparation for tommorow's grief." ( They will be sad since their children will be going away.)

"So without further ado let the banquet begin!" I shouted and they replied in unison, "May the Imperial Family be the Great Rulers of this world forever!" (Well they rule the Heavenly Mystic Realm but since they were the strongest they can be considered as the rulers of the whole world, but remember the other realms also have their own rulers over them.)

And so me and my sons sat on our thrones and watch as the nobles lined up to give us presents.

First was the House of Doremitro who were one of the six Duke families they were the head of the Pheonix species, soon they had greeted us and the one who step forward to introduce the present was the young miss of the house.

"Your Majesty please accept our gift." She uncovered the veil of the thing that their butler was holding. Once the veil was off I could here gasps from the other nobles, and so some whispers could be heard.

"That is the mystical feather of the Pheonixs it is said to be a present from the first Pheonix to have ever lived and was passed onto the decendants."

"Wow it may not seem much to the empress since she has already a lot more valuable stuff than that but to the dukes family it should be their greatest treasure."

Thanks to my great hearing I knew what they were saying, so I felt a bit of sympathy for the House of Doremitro, so I scanned the hearts of the Duke, the Duchess, the young Master and the young Miss.

It seems that they were also very sad to let go of this but they had to do it in order to have a great relationship with my family.

I smiled and stood up from the throne, I signalled one of the butlers to get the present from them.

Once the feather was in our hands the duke's family smiled but I could see through their facade that they were actually very sad.

"The House of Doremitro would you follow me somewhere." I said not as an order but as a request, "Ofcourse Your Majesty." They answered so I turned my taxes to my four sons who have somewhat understand the situation, they nodded so I left them to take care of the other nobles for me as I lead the Doremitro family to a certain room.

After awhile of walking I stopped just before a room that was protected by a barrier, the Duke recognized this barrier as he almost shouted what he had to say.

"T-this is the ancient Inferno Barrier of the Royal Dragons which is imposible for anyone to destroy it, even the Late Emperor could not destroy it at the least." What he said made his family members widen their eyes.

"Oh my it seems that some people still know about this, I thought that everyone have forgotten about it." I chuckled which had made them even more puzzled as I the person said to be the cold empress broke out of character.

"Don't believe in rumours because some might be true but some aren't." They nodded in response, I turned back my gaze towards the barrier infront of me and with a wave of my hand the barrier was destroyed

The Doremitro Family had their mouths open which was very unnoble like, "Follow me inside." I said as I opened the doors to the room with a push.

And when the doors revealed what was inside it almost made the whole Doremitro Family pass out. It was the treasure room of the Imperial Family.

"Y-your M-majesty you don't mind me asking do you?" The Duchess softly asked, "You want to ask why we are here right?" She nodded.

"Well no matter how much your good at trying to hide how you truly feel you can never trick me." I slowly said and their expressions turned to a slight of sadness and.... regret?

"We're very sorry Your Maje-" "And so I brought you here to come and choose an item of your own suiting." I said while smiling.

"Since you even gave your most treasured item then it should be proper to return the favor, and I don't accept any rejections for this is an order." I immediately added the last parts as they were about to decline my offer.

"So you may search throughout the room to find an item that you think would be a great fit to you, and remember you can only take one item for one person am I clear."

"Yes Your Majesty!" They bowed and said in unison, so then they split up and went to look around the room.
