Dignity as a ghost

Bustling people walked on the road, their voices are a mix that makes the city live up to its name, in the center a building stood still, in the police station a man around 40 years was pacing back and forth, near him was a woman sat in a chair. "Calm down Feng fang will be safe." The man stopped and stared at his wife before sitting beside her, holding her hands tightly he whispered "I hope so." 20 minutes, before there are sounds of rapid footsteps echoing in the corridor.

A young girl around 8 years old, was running in their direction her blond hair was messy and her large eyes had tears on it. "Mommy! Daddy!" Seeing their son the father broke into a smile. "Feng fang!" He greeted his daughter, hugging her tightly as though she will disappear if he did not hold her tightly.

Behind their reunion, Alia stood with Joshua beside her. "It's warm to have a family," she said with stars glittering on her eyes. Beside her, Joseph glanced at her and his lips started to form a small smile when she looked at him, he goes back to his poker face.

The mother and father were happy, but the mother noticed something on her daughter's hands, "what is that Feng fang?" Her voice had a calming effect on Feng fang as she raised her right hand and said "this is my doll! He helps me when there are bad guys!" When the father heard that he shakes his head before walking to Joshua and Alia to know what happened.

"You know were was worried about you, come sit here there are foods we prepare for you." She pointed to the chair beside her and grabbed her red bad reaching for snacks.

Feng fang large eyes widen and she nods like a chicken, she sat on the chair while putting the doll in her chest so that it will not fall. "I saw a lot! First, I leave the mansion, then I saw many people! Then I am in police station!?" Fang zheng was having a roller coaster, he was locked in a mansion, after all, he also feels comfortable when he was with the girl, so he stays quiet and continued to observe the situation.

Seeing the snacks fang zheng eyes sparkled, outside the doll was staring at the snacks, nothing seemed unusual but if they looked closely the doll black eyes seemed to move upward.

"Yummy!" Feng fang bit potato chips on her mouth and the sounds of crunchiness exploded making fang zheng gulped. "When can I eat!?" Fang zheng did not back down to battles but in food, he gave up!

The sounds of footsteps made fang zheng glance at it, the father returned with a key in his hand, when Feng fang and the mother looked at him, he waved his hands and said "let's go back home" holding Feng fang hands the mother and the father walked out of the police station.

They walked to the parking station and the father gets inside of a red car, sounds of engines echoed and they drove onto the road. Feng fang who was on the back seat glanced at the park and the kids playing through the window. Fang zheng also watched the outside where an unknown number of cars passed and the park where kids play.

After 30 minutes of driving they arrived at a big house and behind you can see a towering tree that made the area peaceful. "I'll head to work I'll be back at night, stay safe." The father kisses his wife on the forehead and Feng fang was already at the front door.

"Mr doll this will be your home." She whispered to fang zheng, and fang zheng brows tightened while he thought "why is this girl talking to me? If I replied I bet you'll pass out hehe." Fang zheng laughs evilly.

Inside the house was the living room where there sat a big tv and the couches were good looking fang zheng already wanted to sleep on that couch, remembering his tattered couch on the mansion fang zheng smiled while he thought "although it's old it was filled with happy memories."

"Just relax there and watch cartoons I'll prepare dinner." Hearing her mother Feng fang jumped and sat on the couch, she put fang zheng close to her while whispering "what do you want to watch?"

Fang zheng wished he could speak. "I want tom and jerry!" Seeing the doll didn't respond Feng fang laughed while thinking to herself "of course it will not speak, but at least I have a friend!" She pressed the remote and the tv shows the popular cartoon tom and jerry!

"What!?" Fang zheng was given a scare! Did the girl hear him? "Hello, do you hear me?" Fang zheng tried to greet her and even tried shouting but it did not work. "Maybe it was coincidence or just the tom and jerry were popular?" Feng fang laugher echoed to the mansion while the doll in her embrace gets squeezed by her arms. "System can I scare this girl?" Fang zheng had enough his dignity as a ghost was taken a blow!

Fang zheng shakes his head internally, he endures the tight hug of the girl, in one of his thoughts, were "where is bai ze?"

"What should gift should I bring for Feng fang?" The father was driving into a secluded road while thinking whether pizza or burgers or this when he saw a black shadow in the middle of the road. Screech!! His car stopped just in time, his vision is spinning and after a couple of seconds he shouted "watch where you going!" After shouting he got out of the car and was confused "what??" There was nobody on the road, he wipes his eyes and thought "maybe I am hallucinating due to overworked." He got back in the car and drove to work, on the back seat a black cat was sitting there with a light flashing on its eyes.

Night gradually fell and Feng fang was watching horror cartoons in the living room, her mother was on the sofa with her iphone12. Fang zheng as usual was getting beaten by the girl's movements because of her excitement at the tv show, "how can I watch properly!?" Fang zheng protested but all he got was a smack to the head. "Oops sorry mr doll, hehe." "Sorry your face!" While fang zheng was on his thoughts.

Knocking sounds were sounded and a voice echoed "I'm back!" Her mother put the phone down and walked, opening the door her husband greets him "come change your clothes then we'll eat." Feng fang who was behind her mother looked at the bags on her father's hand with a bright light shining on her large eyes.

Fang zheng who was left alone on the couch finally relax, when he noticed that on the window a cat was staring at him, "bai ze!?" Fang zheng mouth was opened wide, "my cute bai ze really came! i am here!" His shouts only belong to him, the cat stared at him before disappearing into the darkness.
