I kept my eyes on the doctor as he replaced my bandages. "How did you hurt your ear?" he asked me. "I dont know." I replied in a hushed whisper. "Must have banged my head on the table when I fell off the bed." I continued. He stopped touching my ear and looked at me. A sinister smile appears as he looks me over. He signalled the guards to come over with a wave of his hand and in that moment I knew that I was majorly screwed. I knew that he knew that I knew that he knew. I moved back on the bed, my back hitting the wall, trapping me. I looked at his eyes, the glint in the brown making it obvious that he struck gold. "Escort Ms. Kandege to her new sleeping chamber and make sure she gets the appropriate uniform." He said to the guards, all the while still looking at me. Daring me. "And please do take a shower before putting on the uniform Ms. Kandenge." He said pointedly. The guards roughly pulled me off of the bed and dragged me away. I didn't put up a fight, I simply let them pull me along as I watched the doctor write down super sonic next to my name in his notebook. I kept my mind clear of all thoughts and opted to observe the white hallway of what I assume is a hospital. All the doors on either side of me are made out of steel with one little glass window. It takes me a while to realise that apart from the guards receding foot steps and the shuffling of my feet as they dragged me along, there was no any other sounds. It's eerily quite that if we stopped, I swear you can hear a pin drop. The silence is unnerving and there is an itch at the back of my mind that I could not get rid of. Eating and gnawing at me, something is not right. Theres something familiar about either the hallway, the hospital or this whole crappy place of doom. I just can't put my finger on it. I was so lost in my mind that I almost missed it. Piercing deep ocean blue eyes looked at me. Calling me, telling me to stop and never look away. His slimy grey complexion Blending in with the steel, only evidence that there is a person behind the door on my right is the blue eyes. So mesmerising and shimmy. I was rooted in place, so where the guards. Sunddely we were drowning. On air. I reached out for my throat for some relief to no avail. My arms felt trapped by my side, I couldn't move and I am running out of air. Yet, the oceanic eyes didn't look away and neither did we. The longer we looked, the deep his eyes seem to swirl. Everything around me started fading, I can no longer hear the struggling pants of the guards nor mine. My vision blurring and just as I thought I am about to pass out, the small window from which the eyes were visible shut with a loud bang. Snapping us out of our daze. I realised then that this is no ordinary hospital and the doctor is probably crazy. I've never experienced such a heavy urge to run. "Go on and stay clear of the door windows. A lot of crazy people in here." He says pointing ahead.
"Crazy?" I thought to myself as I followed the guards, this time walking on my own. If it's anything, he was the crazy one. As the guards stopped in front of a big steel door, bigger then all the doors that I saw. It downed me that theres a possibility that all the rooms around me are filled with people. I started to visibly shake when the guards opened the door and ushered me in. The doctor followed right behind. The first thing I see is four beds. I continued to take in the room, noticing every little detail. From the foam lined walls to the three girls dressed in the same attire standing in the middle of the room.
"Girls" greeted the doctor.
They all gave a nod and proceeded to seat on the bed closest to the door, gazing at me with questioning eyes.
"This is Alma" the doctor motioned me forward whilst introducing me to the girls. I hesitantly took a step forward but that was all. I wanted to hide behind the doctor as their eyes burrowed deep. " She's the fourth and last member of the Super Sonic squad. I brought her as promised, I can't say she's all intact. She has a bad case of amnesia hence the lack of enthusiasm when she saw you". He looked down at me, this time pushing me forward. "Alma, these are your sisters".
