Raven had almost forgotten about his friend back at the lounge but he really didn't expect he would be so worried. Before he opened the message he felt his phone vibrate again and the preview showed that it was from his father telling him to remember something. He let out a sigh not opening it, wanting to check Carson's message first knowing his father's would only upset him even further at that very moment.

Carson: 'Hey I'm back at the dorm and you're not, you alright?'

"He's already back?" Raven questioned knowing this was very unlike him to go back to their room so early. Raven felt guilty knowing this was because of him having ruined all the fun by his sudden leave.

After Carson showed he was really concerned about him Raven wanted to tell him at least a version of the truth but knew this wouldn't be wise. He stared down at his phone's keyboard trying to find the words to reply but nothing came to him at that moment. He couldn't tell Carson that he had gone to the hospital because there was the possibility of Carson trying to go check on him and find he wasn't telling the truth. Nor could he tell him he was just sick, lost, and been chased by some random crazy lady. Raven just couldn't bring himself to lie at that very moment either with Carson putting him first even before women. Exiting from the message he left it alone pretending as if he didn't see it giving himself time to think of an excuse later once he was back to normal.

Thinking about how he would turn back to normal just to talk to Carson again made him more reluctant to go back to the dorms than before. Looking back at his phone he opened the other message from his father. Debating on whether he should just ask him to take him home now like he offered.

Dad: 'Remember just kiss another boy and make it a bigger feed than last time. Happy birthday Ray-Bird be careful on your return to the dorms, you know I worry, call me if you are in trouble... Just don't feed on any other students it will be a bad idea. Kiss, Kiss! <3 -Daddy'sGotaBabyGirl!!!'

Bawling up a fist he knew he didn't want to read his father's message and this changed his mind quickly on returning home now, "Stupid old man, and what's with that new name?" he snarled.

Even though he was bothered by this he did not let his father's warning go unnoticed. He wondered why choosing a fellow classmate would be a bad idea though it wasn't like he planned to in the first place it was awkward enough to have been kissed by Jewels. This information still bothered him and he wanted to understand it more.

He needed to know more about what was going on but his mother was unreachable, Raven's only option was the so called familiar in his room. Then it hit him he had forgotten that there was a familiar heading to his dorm to wait in his room and Carson was already there. There was no tell just what this creature was nor what would happen if it was seen.

After pulling up the directions on his phone Raven takes off into a run towards the school to hopefully get there before Carson found it or it found Carson. While he was in the middle of his run he made eye contact with someone seeing their face become red on sight he recalled what his father said about his energy. He wasn't built to run and so he knew he was using a lot of his energy at that very moment. The risk was not worth it, he didn't want to be attacked again so he slowed down into more of a jog.

Passing the people by on his way there he didn't look up at them since it seemed that they only started showing signs of being weird after he made eye contact with them. He hoped this was the only case of how they became strange because he still wasn't planning on feeding. If all he had to do was not look someone in the eyes then he could find this familiar before anything happened and find other way to change himself back.

Approaching the school grounds it had gotten very late and the curfew came in handy being that there weren't many walking around the school yard at this hour but there was a catch. Visitors weren't allowed this late, especially girls, he knew he wasn't going to be able to just walk into the front door and find his mother's familiar.

Only taking a few moments he reached down to his pocket to see if his student ID were still on him since he never changed when they went to the party. His ID in particular had certain permission so he could access the gym lockers at anytime. Happy to have found it within his pocket he was thankful for his position of being the basketball teams manager now more than ever. Being able to unlock the doors from the outside he could go through the back way and work his way to the dorms unnoticed or at least that was the plan.

Reaching up to the door he swiped his ID across the bulky lock and it turned green allowing him to be able to open it up but he waited. His body was starting to feel heavier than before and this sort of worried him. Though he didn't run all the way there his chest felt hot like he had just ran from that woman again making it hard for him to breathe.

Shaking his head he fought back this scared feeling and pushed through the weight knowing he couldn't turn back now. There was no way he could explain any of this to Carson nor could he continue the life he had if he didn't keep going.

Closing his eyes he calmed his breathing and pushed open the door. Opening his eyes once the door shut behind him only to be blinded by the room's bright light, someone was there...
