Chapter Fifty one

Raven slowly dropped the phone from his ear while bringing the screen into view while the call ended from Carson's end. He had been thrown off by hearing the other voice, enough to stare at his phone for a while trying to figure out why she sounded familiar to him, "He was with a girl?" He grumbled out wondering why Carson had not informed him about them meeting a girl earlier.

Thinking about it a little, he realized it may be because he was alone now that he would meet with a woman. Carson probably didn't message any women the whole week since Raven could change into a girl if anything happened while they were in public or at school. "He was just holding back for me" Raven muttered thinking aloud that this must be the reason with how clingy he was lately, "Menay was wrong" He adds declaring that contrary to their original belief, Carson showed absolutely no sign of being a slave like they had thought.

He let a sigh out while he looked around wondering if this was why Carson left so easily when the teacher told him to. He cursed Carson gritting his teeth in anger quickly blaming him for being a woman again on him. Though he quickly released this anger as he knew they couldn't have predicted that he would be attacked since Carson was feeding him regularly.

Shaking his head he looked down between his legs, staring at the ground, he knew he should just be relieved to know Carson wasn't a slave. Though now he didn't like this upset feeling knowing he had no reason to be upset with Carson now. He was used to him running off with women anyways.

Clenching his fists tightly together he was trying not to feel upset about feeling abandoned. Raven even subconsciously began to think of it all in another light, he knew this probably had something to do with what they were doing this weekend.

Likely Carson was meeting one of the girls in person before he invited them over. After all, he gained a slight bad rumor for himself after the last time he had those girls meet them in the park. There were claims that he was using his using himself as a bargain to get Raven action now.

Raven huffed knowing it didn't look good for him either but he didn't care as much as Carson did on what people said about him, "Serves you right for being a player" He grumbled boasting to himself having this thought comfort him even if he wouldn't admit it.

He heard someone stepping up to him causing his face to flush embarrassed for the words he spoke aloud to himself. When they stopped in front of him giving out a sigh though they didn't say anything in response, Raven figured it was Carson after all, bothered by what happened.

Relieved that Carson found the place so soon Raven smiled looking up, "Carson I wasn't talking abou... Asher?" his sentence stumbled as he saw the person in front of him was the last person he wanted to see in this body again.

Raven's face drained of color, going pale as he felt the panic tremble over his body, "What are you..." He stuttered while noticing Asher was peering down at the phone within Raven's hands.

Covering and hiding his phone between his legs Raven knew Asher wouldn't be able to recognize it was the same, but even so he knew he was still wearing his school clothes so he didn't want to chance it, "I thought you weren't here today?" Raven finally voiced trying to figure out why of all people, Asher was the one standing before him.

A slight growl left Asher while he stepped closer to Raven, "How would you know that?" He inquired suspiciously with a steady pace.

Raven froze, he forgot even if he texted his cousin this it would be strange, besides from what Ashley and Asher knew Robin didn't have a phone. Raven couldn't respond he had not prepared to meet Asher in this body again.

Beside looking up at Asher's face it felt strange even with the way he talked before about wanting to see Robin again he was carrying a less than interested face than before. It was clear he was mad at just the sight of Robin, Raven glanced away knowing it was likely because of the way they separated after he hit him.

"I'm-" Raven tried to apologies when he felt a hand grasp the back of his head and pull a little making him grow silent.

Asher hissed agitated with Raven more as he tried to speak making him look even more threatening than before. Even though the grip on the back of Raven's head was gentle it still scared Raven into closing his eyes. This caused Asher to break his aggressive looks as he leaned in a bit more, "Reckless" Asher muttered looking down at Raven's scared expression while he pulled Raven into a kiss.

Raven's eyes opened as he didn't expect this to happen so quickly, especially when he was sure he wasn't starving for energy like before. Though knowing he should, he didn't fight back as he quickly realized this would mean he could turn back into a guy without using Carson again. Since he didn't want to keep using too much of Carson this was the best alternative but not knowing for sure how much he would need he figured it would be better safe than sorry to pull away before he turned back into a guy.

Before he could pull back though he smelled something strange once again, the same scent that came from the teacher was coming from Asher. Only there was another smell slowly mixing into it. Unlike before the other smell wasn't sour like when the teacher's changed, it was just as sweet as the other but still different. While he was curious about them both the other smell soon overpowered the original smell that he couldn't explain. It was like nothing he had ever experienced before, strange as they were, both of the flavors were still present only one was stronger than the other.

While he tried to figure it out he got caught up yet again in the taste and lost track of his surroundings. This time it changed again, but it didn't turn sour only went away even before Asher pulled his lips away. Leaning back Asher looked down un-phased while leaving Raven even more puzzled than before, he couldn't understand it.

"Ugh, I did it again" He grumbled able to at least understand one thing that just happened. Looking down at his feet again he knew this was something he didn't want to do again.

It only got worse when he heard his voice, he quickly noticed that he had a male's voice once again. He had changed back a lot sooner than the last time and now he was in front of someone other than Carson.

Covering his mouth he looked back up, "Asher, I can explain..." he exclaimed however he soon fell short of words as Asher didn't seem to have the same sort of reaction as Carson had about his discovery.

Asher still held an irritated expression while glaring down at him. Raven wondered if this was the sort of reaction he would get from someone who would be disgusted by what they found out. But he remembered that Asher seemed okay with either genders so it didn't make any sense.

Asher moved his free hand to Raven's face and since Raven couldn't figure out just what this guy was thinking he became tense and scared that he was going to be overpowered. Only to feel a gentle grasp on his lower jaw, "You idiot, you can't just feed off one person all the time." he scolded while cracking a smile.

Raven gasped as he registered the words used, "Wait you just said feed, how did you know that?" he questioned what Asher knew only to feel his phone vibrating within his hands. Glancing down to it he could clearly read it was Carson trying to call him which he had now forgotten all about. He had so many questions with who exactly Asher was and what he knew so he went to ignore Carson no longer needing his help.

"Ra-Robin answer your phone!" Carson yelled out causing Raven to jump. He was already so close to finding him, if Carson found them he wasn't sure if Asher would answer his questions. Even so he didn't know how he was going to stop Carson, if he answered the phone he didn't know how he was going to explain any of this to him.

"Tsk annoying guy, you should be fine for now" Asher claimed while taking his phone out, "Now I'm running late, I'll text you later" he adds letting the back of Raven's head go. When Raven looked back up to him before he left Asher held up his finger to his lips indicating that Raven were to remain silent on their encounter.

Raven gave an agitated snarl to the command, as if he had planned to tell anyone about it. Still, he was left confused watching Asher walk away from him down the path, he was sure from what little he knew he couldn't feed off his own kind but then now he didn't understand how Asher knew what he was.

"Did the two of them know the whole time?" he questioned causing his brow to narrow with the thoughts knowing it had been strange since he first ran into Ashley he wondered if they knew from the beginning but now he didn't know why or how.

Carson huffed as he took a deep breath stopping in front of Raven holding his knees, "You aren't a..." He went to complain about Raven not answering his phone then paused for a moment looking Raven over, "Guy, how?" he questioned not sure what had happened, but positive that was the female voice on the phone.

Though even with him standing right before Raven, he wasn't responding, only looking off towards the trees. Carson looked over giving a disgruntled growl seeing just a glimpse of someone walking away. It wasn't enough to tell who but with the clothes they were wearing seemed familiar. Carson could have sworn they were the same lazy outfit that the woman before had on before.

Glancing back, he looked down at Raven snapping his fingers in front of Raven's face trying to catch his attention, "Earth to Raven, How did you change back into a guy so fast?" he questioned wondering who it was who fed him.

These words puzzled Raven as well, that was another thing he didn't understand, he had changed back into a guy too quickly off a short kiss. Even after he was sure that the process was slowing down, "I don't know" He muttered in response finally looking up to Carson.

Carson sighed seeing the confused expression across Raven's face, he wasn't sure what to make of it but he was relieved that nothing serious seemed to happen, "Raven, how are you so reckless?" He scolded realizing that there wasn't a wide choice of women to choose from at this hour which meant this implied he had to have done this with that teacher.

"Who exactly did you kiss, to turn into a girl in the first place?" he questioned insisting Raven give him the answer, becoming concerned after hearing the cat and Raven's conversation about his saliva he worried this would be bad news if it really were a teacher. If it was a student Carson was sure he could keep them at bay but a teacher was something he would have to struggle with which worried him.

Raven knew what Carson wanted to know but even he didn't have the courage to explain that the person was his own teacher. He also didn't have the nerve to tell Carson that he actually indulged because she tasted sweet. It was all too weird and while he was trying to think of what he would say to Carson he felt his phone vibrate causing him to look down at it.

Asher: I had to go to work... you know where it's at. Come by before I start my shift.

Raven was alarmed by this, he thought for sure he would be the one needing to reach out to Asher with how angered he appeared before. Yet Asher was texting him first, which made him suspicious that he wanted something. Up until now the siblings were strange and helpful, Raven couldn't help but assume they had ulterior motives if they had known the whole time what he was and didn't say anything.

Either way he was going to get the answers he wanted to know. Looking up at Carson he stood putting his phone back in his pocket "I need to go" Raven claimed as he went to walk away only to be grabbed by the arm.

Looking back he saw Carson's angered expression after being completely ignored after being so worried, "You need to come back to the room" He demanded tightening his grip slightly.

"Tsk" Raven hissed, this attitude was starting to bug him the most, Carson always acted possessive but since he had found out the secret he had become more possessive of Raven than usual.

Raven glared back at him gritting his teeth pulling his arm away, he fine now and didn't need Carson anymore, "No I really need to go" He declared making it clear that he was not going to waver to Carson's selfish demands.

Carson pulled back looking at how angered Raven had gotten. He wanted to say something in response but even he knew what he was acting like wasn't okay. "Where are you going? I'll take you" Carson offered trying to pass it off like he was only offering as a helpful friend though he really just wanted to know.

Raven shook his head no, since the last time he was in a bind for money his father increased his allowance so he could afford a cab or bus if needed, "Tell Menay I'll be back later" he informed as he began to walk away.

"Raven wait" Carson called out though he was easily ignored, "Menay's not in the room, I don't know what's going on but I don't think you should be alone" He adds stepping towards Raven only to be met with another glare.

"I'm not helpless, I don't always need you" He barked becoming furious with how even Carson was claiming he shouldn't go anywhere alone when he was always alone before meeting Carson and before Menay showed himself.

With a huff Raven turned and left Carson where he stood. Though Carson didn't like it he still looked over his shoulder where the figure had left off too. Something wasn't right and it made Carson feel uneasy but still he knew if he followed Raven now it would only make things worse.
