Taehyung looks out the window, watching the scenery they pass through.
"Tae" Seokjin snaps Taehyung out of his thoughts.
"We have a whole three hours ahead of us, you think maybe we can continue the conversation we were supposed to have?" Seokjin suggests.
"What? What conversation?" Taehyung asked acting clueless.
"Jungkook, you told me you met him because you were looking for a good wifi?" Seokjin recalls.
Taehyung nods nervously.
"Why didn't you tell me you need one Tae? I could've gotten a plan for you so you won't have to struggle when you have deadlines." Seokjin sighs, frustration apparent on his face.
He doesn't want his brother going through any inconvenience, especially when it comes to studies.
"Hyungie, it's okay." Taehyung tries to assure his older brother.
"No Tae, these things, you have to tell me okay?" Taehyung nods in response.
"So, tell me about Jungkook." Seokjin leaned back waiting for Taehyung to gush about his boyfriend.
Taehyung begins to tell his hyung about Jungkook, from how they first met, how Jungkook bought him meals, walked him home.
He told his older brother all about the man he is head over heels for, leaving out the not so great moments of course.
Everyone has their flaws, even Taehyung himself, he doesn't find it necessary to hare Jungkook's to his brother, thinking that it might just cause a misunderstanding or an additional worry, an additional burden for his Hyung.
"Are you happy?" Seokjin asked Taehyung with a soft tone.
"Yes, hyungie, very," Taehyung admits with a smile.
"Then that's all I need to know." Seokjin nods in acknowledgment with a smile.
"So you're not mad anymore?"
"I was never mad Tae, If Jungkook makes you happy, why would I be mad? It doesn't matter who he is, as long as he's treating you well and he's making you happy, then I couldn't ask for more." Seokjin tells Taehyung with sincerity.
"As much as I would love to protect you from all the bad things, from all the pain in this world, I know I can't." Taehyung nods motioning for his brother to continue.
"Just remember one thing." Seokjin holds Taehyung's hand in his as he looked his younger brother in the eyes.
"Love is not easy, it's not like those TV shows or movies that you watch. You'll get hurt, you'll cry, you will get your heart broken a thousand times." Seokjin emphasized.
"But you have to find that one person who will be worth all the pain," Seokjin tells his younger brother, he pulled his hands away from Taehyung's as he looked out the window.
"Hyungie?" Seokjin hummed in response.
"How do you know if that person is worth the pain?"
"If you see your only future with that person," Seokjin answered with a smile, a pained smile.
"What does that mean?" Taehyung asked further, his brows furrowed in curiosity.
"If you can't imagine a future without him if when you take him out of the picture, your future will seem like it's vague, incomplete." Seokjin tries to explain.
"Why is pain necessary then?" Taehyung asks.
"Because everyone needs to grow. Growing involves pain, it involves suffering, because we humans tend to only remember things that hurt and we tend to avoid repeating the same mistake because we are afraid of feeling that pain again." Seokjin answered leaving Taehyung astounded.
"You didn't see a future with Jaehwan hyung?" Seokjin shakes his head.
"It wasn't me that didn't, it was him that didn't see a future in me. He thought me going to Japan was it, that there was no hope or a future for us." Seokjin answered his brother with a weak smile.
"I'm sorry hyungie." Taehyung sighed, he remembered how much his brother cried on the phone with him and Jimin when Jaehwan broke up with him while he was in Japan.
"Don't worry about me, it's been over a year hyung's okay now," Seokjin assures Taehyung showing a bright smile.
"Was it hard going through a breakup?"
"Yah! You're like what less than a month into a relationship and you're already asking about breakups? Should Jungkook be worried?" Seokjin teased making Taehyung's eyes went wide realizing what his Hyung is implying.
"Hyungie! I was just asking." Taehyung pouts crossing his arms over his chest at his hyung who is now laughing at Taehyung.
"You're still so easily riled up." Seokjin continued to laugh.

As soon as the Kim brothers arrived at their house, they took a breath of relief when they were not greeted with their father in the living room, instead, they only found in the kitchen their poor mother in clothes that resembles a rug.
"Mom!" Taehyung screamed as he runs to hug his mother as tight as he could.
"My Tae tae, I missed you, my baby." His mom whispered kissing the head of her youngest.
"Mom..." Seokjin whispered with tears in his eyes.
"Seokjin come here." His mom softly called for the oldest to join the hug. Without a second Seokjin joins the hug, his heart feels happy and satisfied having his brother and mother in a warm embrace.
After they pulled away, their mom quickly prepared drinks, and some bread left.
"Your dad won't be home tonight, he'll only be back tomorrow." their mother informs them, the brothers looked at each other with relief, they can dodge their dad's arrival and spend time with their mother.
Finally the brother's thought.
That night, Seokjin and Taehyung took their mom out for dinner, the joy in their mother's heart is overflowing.
Being able to spend time with her sons outside for a great meal, away from the suffocating air of the small building that she calls home.

On Saturday before leaving, the brothers took their mom out again for brunch and early dinner, they also bought her groceries as the fridge is empty, as expected.
Before their dad comes back that Saturday evening, the brothers decided to leave, their mom urged them to leave as well as she is aware of how her husband will be when he gets back.
"I hope Japan treats you well all the time." his mother tells Seokjin as they hug each other like there's no tomorrow.
"I will mom, please take care of yourself, please." Seokjin pleaded hugging his mom tighter.
"I love you Seokjinie." His mom whispered trying to hold back her tears.
"I love you more mom," Seokjin replied kissing the side of her head.
As they pulled away, Taehyung immediately took his turn to hug his dear mother.
"Take care in Seoul okay?" their mother whispered hugging Taehyung as tight as she could, tears streaming down her face not wanting to let go of her youngest.
"I love you, mom." Taehyung's voice shakes as he swallows down tears.
"I love you Tae tae, my Tae tae." his mom whispers wiping her tears away as she finally lets go of her youngest.
They will be back for their mom again, and Seokjin is always ready to take his mom away, but until their mother is ready to let go, they just can't help her.

Taehyung: Kookieee 🥰
Jungkookie: Yes baby?
Taehyung: Hyungie and I just boarded the train. 🥱
Jungkookie: So you'll arrive at 4 am?
Taehyung: Yes Kookie, it might be late so if you're tired it's okay Hyungie and I can take a cab to the hotel. 🤗
Jungkookie: No I'll pick you guys up. Okay?
Jungkookie: I'll be waiting at the station by 4 am 😊
Taehyung: Are you sure? You really don't have to 🥺
Jungkookie: I want to okay? I miss you I can't wait to see you. 💕
Taehyung: Okay 🥺
Jungkookie: See you, get some rest okay?
As Jungkook promised, he is waiting by the station when Taehyung and Seokjin arrived.
"Kookie!" Taehyung ran into Jungkook's arms throwing himself on the other like they haven't seen each other in months.
"Relax, it's been 2 days, how are you gonna be like for your vacation in Japan?" Seokjin asked as he walked ahead of Taehyung and Jungkook.
"Japan?" Jungkook questions with a raised brow.
"Later," Taehyung whispered as he pulled on Jungkook's hand catching up with Seokjin.
The drive to Seokjin's hotel was fortunately not that long that there wasn't any awkward silence, mostly just a short how are yous, how was the trip and so.
"Can you stay over? Until dinner?" Jungkook asked Taehyung before his boyfriend got to step out of the car.
Taehyung looked at his brother who is already walking to the hotel lobby.
"I'm really tired Kookie, I missed you but I want to sleep," Taehyung tells Jungkook, it's almost 5 in the morning and Taehyung feels like he can pass out any moment from the lack of sleep.
"Then you'll sleep there, don't you want to cuddle with me?" Taehyung sighed, of course, he wants to cuddle with Jungkook, he missed his boyfriend so much, but, he really wants to sleep in a comfy bed.
Taehyung looks at Jungkook who's looking at him expectantly.
"Okay." Taehyung finally gave in knowing that it's no use arguing with Jungkook anyway.
After Taehyung tells his brother that he'll just see him later for dinner, the couple drove back to Jungkook's place.
"Are you not tired? I know the bar closed late." Taehyung worriedly asked as it was a Friday, the busiest night of the week that the bar usually closes at 4, and even then there are still people hanging around.
Jungkook reached for Taehyung's hand with his free hand, bringing it to his lips, giving Taehyung's hand a soft kiss.
"Don't worry about me baby, I'm not tired," Jungkook assures the other as he kept his hold of Taehyung's hand until they reached the building's parking area.
Taehyung immediately crashed on Jungkook's couch, his face squeezed on the sofa, his eyes shutting close immediately.
Jungkook giggled watching how cute his boyfriend is, even when tired, Taehyung is too adorable.
"Yah! No kiss? You're really going to pass out on me like this?" Jungkook teased, Taehyung turned to his side, now laying on his back as he gestured for Jungkook to come to him.
Jungkook walks to Taehyung placing a soft kiss on his lips, the kiss they shared, soft and longing.
"Now can I sleep?" Taehyung whined turning to his side his back facing Jungkook.
"Not yet." Jungkook shakes his head no.
"Why?" Taehyung whines.
"Because you haven't changed out of your clothes yet." Jungkook points out.
"Take a quick shower then sleep," Jungkook tells Taehyung who sighed, he does feel sticky he needs to at least change out of his clothes.
Jungkook pulled Taehyung up from the couch, laughing at how lazy Taehyung is, he understands though it must have been a long day.
When Taehyung steps into Jungkook's bedroom to go to the bathroom, he tilts his head in confusion, his eyes wandering around the unfamiliar room.
"Kookie..." Taehyung called,
Jungkook appeared from the living room with a smirk on his face.
"You like it?" Jungkook asked his arms wrapping around Taehyung from behind as Taehyung continues to observe the room.
Everything in the bedroom is different even the placement of the furniture.
The bed before was a black queen-sized bed, to Taehyung's surprise it is now an elegant looking white King-sized bed. Even the placement of the bed is different.
The desktop remained the same but there are a new study table and a rolling chair beside it.
"You bought new furniture?" Taehyung asked without looking back at Jungkook who is currently still behind him with his arms still wrapped around Taehyung's waist.
"Changed the bed, got you your own study table, nothing much." Jungkook shrugged.
Taehyung turned around with a grin on his face.
"So, we can cuddle on OUR bed after showering right?" Jungkook playfully wiggled his brows at Taehyung.
"You mean your bed." Taehyung hits Jungkook's arm playfully as he makes his way to the bathroom eagerly, as he's so excited to sleep on Jungkook's bed.
Jungkook followed taking his clothes off joining Taehyung in the hot shower.
"It's OUR bed," Jungkook emphasized, catching Taehyung's lips with his, as they let the hot shower fall against their skin.
"I missed you Kookie" Taehyung pants after pulling away from the long kiss.
"I missed you more," Jungkook answers before turning off the shower.
Jungkook pulled a towel to dry his hair and body off before handing Taehyung his towel and bathrobe.
After they have both dried their hairs, Taehyung was about to make his way back to the living room to get his clothes when Jungkook stopped him.
"Wear mine?" Jungkook offers his neatly folded white oversized shirt.
Taehyung smiled at the gesture, his cheeks turning pink at the thought, remembering how he sees this in movies and TV series where lovers share clothes.
He took the shirt from Jungkook's hold before grabbing his own boxer shorts from his bag.
When Taehyung came back to Jungkook's room in his boxer briefs and Jungkook's white shirt that falls until his mid-thigh, Jungkook is already on the bed laying down waiting for Taehyung.
Taehyung shows of his boxy grin before jumping on the bed to cuddle with Jungkook.
"It's so comfy." Taehyung murmurs nuzzling his face in Jungkook's neck.
"Me or the bed?"
"Both" Taehyung answered yawning, he really is tired.
"You know, this is the first time i'm going to sleep on a bed since you left for Daegu? I slept on the couch." Jungkook tells Taehyung who is now slowly falling asleep.
"Hmmm?" Taehyung hummed obviously half asleep.
"I will do anything for you, you know that right?" Jungkook whispered wrapping his arms around the half-asleep boy who only nodded in response.
"I love you Tae, so much." Jungkook placed a soft kiss on Taehyung's forehead before drifting to sleep.
