I may or may not follow his character and kind of change him up a tad bit. There is a good reason, and that reason shall be in my little note!

Note!!!

In this soulmate Au a vampire can sense if their soulmate is near, by a certain scent (in this case your scent is lilac and gooseberries (yes I know dont kill me I love The Witcher too much so what?)) and if their soulmate is with them they would see a blue-ish/purple-ish color surrounding them almost like an aura only when they meet but after a while that aura fades. (Purple being the girl and Blue being the guy (oh and btw if a human is to be with a vampire they could only see their aura but this whole soulmate thing is unknown to them)). The vampire instantly gets attached and can't under any circumstances leave their side. And yes they can walk in daylight. Let's pretend we are in vampire diaries. They have rings to protect them in the sun.

Hizashi's P.O.V

Where is he going now??? I was silently following him making sure he was not aware of me being as stealthy as I can. He suddenly stopped and sniffed the air. What is he doing??? He looked around him and nearly spotted me but to my luck he didn't. Then he started sniffing again while walking once more. Come on man! What's the deal? I have a baaaad feeling about this... We eventually come to a cliff where I see (Y/n) standing on the edge staring into the horizon. Aizawa was just staring at her back not making a move. Soon (Y/n)'s body started shifting becoming a bit shorter, instead of loose (h/c) hair her hair became two blonde messy buns. She the turned around... Hey hey hey, if She could transform into... oh no! Hang on I'm gonna find you! I'm not losing you again!

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

"Hey (Y/n)! Why don't you come out with us tonight to the nearby bar! Come on! Just one drink please~" I was slumped on my desk almost in dream land when my very energetic, loud friend awoke me from my slumber. Personally I didn't want to go but I had no choice in the matter because she would anyways drag me to the bar "Yeah whatever... just one drink then I'm heading home! I barely get any sleep because of work as is!"

"Woo hoo! I knew you would say yes! See roomies and besties for life!"

"Its not like I anyways had a choice, you were anyways gonna drag me there..." It seemed I had struck a nerve because she seemed to have eroded away right after I had said so "Haha... cheez lighten up before I take my lamp and hit you with it to brighten you up a bit!" She visibly relaxed and gave her famous nervous chuckle "Haha sorry, your just more grumpy lately and I don't know when you are being serious anymore... haha..." silence filled the air as she stood there nervously looking around "Lemme atleast get some sleep before you drag me away! Otherwise I won't be able to even make it through the door with out actually falling asleep..." my roomate left and I immediately fell asleep.

What felt like seconds later when in fact it was three hours later I got woken up by the sound of something dropping in my room. I looked around to see I was alone and cautiously got up to inspect what it was. When I had found my clock on the floor instead of my bed side table the only thing I could think of was, it must've fallen on it's own accord. Shoving what little fear I had just a few seconds ago aside, I head into the shower to do what I needed before I had to head out with Kanna and whoever she invited. Once I had finished I took a look at myself in the mirror to give myself approval of what I was wearing and if I looked okay.

Being satisfied with blue jeggings and a black turtle neck top and knee-high black boots I nod and walk around our little apartment looking for Kanna. "Kanna! I'm ready! Where are you? Are you ready to go yet?" I waited for an answer but there was nothing. I heard something drop in her room and quickly ran to see if she was ok. I slammed the door open only to see nothing but her bedside clock now on the floor. "Strange..." I picked her clock up and placed it back on her table and closed her room door and headed to the kitchen to grab something to eat. When I did I found a note and began to read it:

I had something come up but we are still on for tonight at 6 so, I'll meet you there okay? Oh and if I'm not there by six wait longer. Haha just kidding, but I might be late though. So see you l8r~

She's gonna be the death of me, I swear! L8r? Oh I think she is referring to later. Haha funny... not... I scrunched up the note and threw it in the trash while eating my food I had just made. I suddenly didn't feel alone anymore and started backing up till I hit something that dropped only to find out that it was a utensil holder. I started hearing breathing which started creeping me out, so I'd do the only logical thing I would do. Grab my coat, grab my keys, run out the apartment and lock. Sure maybe it was anxiety getting to me because of the stillness of the house but I couldn't stand it. I felt like I was being watched and I needed to get away from the uncomfortable feeling.

What is the time even? I looked at the watch on my left wrist and saw that it was only twenty-six past four. "Guess there's no harm in waiting a bit! Maybe I can head on over to the beach a bit!" On my way to the beach I heard quite a bit of ruckus when passing a house. It sounded as if glass plates and glasses were being thrown around and there was a female and Male screaming at one another. I obviously didn't want to get caught up in all of it so I just carried on. What's going on today??? I finally made it to the beach, there wasn't a lot of people there since it was almost dark out.

I stared into the horizon, but as I did, something caught my eye. Along the shore I see something black being pushed back onto the shore. I ran to it and saw it was a man. Having my fair share of saving lives on the beach in the past I knew exactly what to do. I tried listening to his heartbeat but heard nothing. Everyone started crowding me and the man and I started once again becoming anxious "Everyone back! I need room!" I started giving him CPR. Once... nothing. Twice... nothing. Three times... he started coughing up water. Once he had started to breath while coughing he looked at me and sat up holding his throat, his eyes wide but he soon began to relax. "Are you okay? Should- should I get you to a hospital? What happened? Do you know who you are?" I started asking him questions  "Th-cough-thank yo-cough-you! I'm fine. Im Aizawa. Im fine just fell off the cliff and hit my head causing me to pass out." Only then did I start to look at him. His skin was oddly pale, his eyes small but black. His longish hair that was black. I snapped myself out of this daze I was in and stood up, soon helping him up to. Why do I feel that I should stay close to him and why do I see a blue aura around him...

I tried forgetting what I was feeling and wanted to get it completely off my mind, so small talk was the only option. Maybe I should help him get home? "Where do you stay...uh..." I put his left arm around my shoulders since he was very unsteady on his feet "Shouta. Shouta Aizawa. I had already told you this. And I live about two to three blocks away..." I mentally sighed. "A'ight steady now. I'll walk you home and make sure your okay before I leave..." he looked down at me and gave a slight nod "Th-theres no need... I'll be back to normal in no time!" He pulled his weight off my shoulder and stepped two steps backwards so that he could now face me "I'm no good with saying thank you's... but uhhh... thanks?" To me that sounded more like a question but I shoved that aside knowing he did just say he's 'no good in saying thank you's' "Its nothing praise worthy for but it's a pleasure! Non of these people had the audacity to lift a finger to help you so I stepped in!" He laughed a bit looking up, when he did I saw fangs? Ag probably the light in my eyes.

We started making small talk between ourselves "so Aizawa. You don't seem like you're from around here..." I found myself walking closer to him "Well, I just recently moved from Pennsylvania so that I could come work here..." I nodded my head and took in the information "So what was it like... being at Pennsylvania and all? I heard a lot of roomers about the place. Like how there are Vampires and wolves and so on. I mean I'm sure they're just made up stories!" Aizawa seem to be thinking for a bit before answering "While I was there nothing seemed to have happened. I've never seen one or heard of any so I think it's clear to say that is a logical rouse! Haha!" We both started laughing and just enjoying each others company. "But on a serious note though, it was basically home and I started getting bored of living there and was yearning for a change of scenery! My childhood was great but then I ended up losing one of my close friends..."

I rubbed his shoulder and apologised to which he just shrugged to and said it was fine. "Thank you again for saving me! Oh wait, I didn't catch your name. May I know it?" I looked up into his eyes "Im just happy I found you in time! Any moment later... well you might as well be fish food... My name is (Y/n) (L/n)! But you can call me (Y/n)!"  said with a smile and a slight blush. "That's actually a pretty name..." I thanked him and was completely oblivious to how close we were until our shoulders touched, when it did it felt as if there were little shock impulses going through my body. I immediately jumped to the side just a tad bit but not too far looking to the side once more as my face began heating up. It was quiet for a bit before we both silently chuckle to ourselves. An hour went by of us just talking non stop not caring about anything happening around us in the world. Why do I want to get close to him...

Silence soon befell us and the sun had started setting giving off that beautiful hue and coolness since it was getting late. Speaking of late what is the time... "oh crap I'm late! It six, twenty! I was suppose to be there twenty minutes ago already! Kanna is gonna kill me... oh well it's so bothersome anyways..." Aizawa was looking at me as if I was going crazy but that all stopped when I turned my attention to him "A'ight, well it was nice meeting you and I hope you are okay! Anyways I'll be off now... be seeing you around I guess?" Before I could leave his voice stopped me "Wait! Where are you going? May I join?" I turned around to look at him thinking if I should allow him to or not, giving the circumstance he was just in "I don't think so, you did just dodge deaths door and I am heading to a bar..."

"I'll be fine... besides... I wanna... get to know you..." after he said that I felt heat rush to my cheeks "Uhh... yeah... sure... fine! Let's first get you in a dry pair of clothes before you cat h a cold then..." I turned around quickly hoping he had not seen my face. I'm so embarrassed!!!

Aizawa's P.O.V

(Earlier in the day) "HEYYYYYY! AIZAWAAAAAAAA! ITS NICE TO SEE YOUUUU! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!" Not back even ten minutes and I already have to deal with Hizashi's yelling... "Why must you be so damn loud!" He walked over rubbing the back of his neck while laughing "Haha... sorry... you know how I become when I get excited! I mean I haven't seen you in forEVER!" I swear my headache was becoming worse. "Yeah I know... just calm down... Its still too early for loud noises!" Hizashi looked at me shocked "You got to be kidding me! Its twelve thirty in the afternoon! How's that early?!" My banshee friend is too energetic today... "I would still be sleeping now you know! I'm still not use to changing my routine..."

"YeAHHHHHHHH I got you!" I'm amazed he hasn't been found out yet! "Oh shoot! I forgot! See ya later Aizawa I need to be going otherwise I'mma be late for my job. BYEEEEEE!!!" Cheez finally some piece and quiet! Might as well get started on unpacking all these boxes. I had just moved into an apartment was already dreading the move. I finished packing the first box away when the scent of Lilac and Gooseberries entered my senses. Wait!? This can't be right? I sniffed again and nothing...no smell. It's probably just me.

~Time skip (Four hours later)

After unpacking my last box I started getting that scent again. Just this time it's stronger. I start following the smell only to be brought to my front door. So obviously following my instincts I walk out of my apartment and followed the scent. I turned right walking out my door and walk four apartments down to find the sound of a shower running. Something feels off. I tried looking into the apartment to try see something but then saw some guy in the house. Didn't really see all his features but I saw enough to know it was Hizashi. Now the scent of lilac and gooseberries was growing stronger. I was following the scent only to be brought to a door. At the exact apartment I was at. I was about to knock on the door when I heard I clutter. Then fast steps to the door and keys. I took this as my queue to leave using my vampiric speed so I wouldn't be caught by whoever was at the door.

I stood at my door inside my apartment having that scent return to me once more as it becomes stronger and then slowly fades away. I quickly opened my door and walked out only to be met face to face with  Hizashi? "Heyyyy! Saw me in there didn't you?" I stared at him for a while feeling drained all of a sudden "Yeah and why were you in there and why were you by the scent of Lilacs and gooseberries?" Hizashi let out an audible sigh as he then starts to rub his neck and a goodish smile greets his face "Well you see. I made a promise to her parents before they died that I'd watch over her and protect her. But two years ago I lost her and couldn't find her until recently. So everyday I come to her house-wait... did you say SCENT?!?! WHAT SCENT EXACTLY?!?!?!" Hes to loud to deal with. I didnt answer and walked after the fading scent deciding to see who it was.

The scent had now completely disappeared and I was left standing confused. How could it suddenly disappear. Then suddenly a strong wave of the smell hit my nose and I just couldn't not follow it. I followed the scent and I was brought to a cliff with a girls back facing me. I stared at her thinking something was off when her appearance started to change. She was no longer a (h/c) girl, no, it was a girl that was slightly shorter with two messy buns. When she turned around I recognized who it was "Toga..." her sharp eyes stared into mine while she had that psycho calm smile on her face. She didn't say anything. "Why are you here?" Her smile widened "To take your blood of course!" She then started running at me with her knifes in her hands ready to strike me at any given moment.

I need to stay on guard! I was swiftly dodging each swing of a knife she swung at me. I was about to attack her and punch her in her guts when I had smelled lilacs and gooseberries again. Loosing focus I feel my shoulder get stabbed and I screamed in pain. Falling back. I was about to look up just when I get knocked unconscious from behind. How did this happen? In my unconscious state I feel my body being picked up then tossed. I was falling until I hit something wet. Water? Wait the seas? I was struggling to breath and I couldn't open my eyes then I felt my body go numb while my mind went blank. I was surrounded in coldness and darkness not knowing what was going on. I then feel my chest being pushed on continuously then air fills my lungs.

My eyes fly open as I quickly sit up coughing trying to breath air. The smell it's right... I looked up to see a (h/c) girl with (e/c) eyes staring into mine, she had a purple aura around her. Wait...the scent is the strongest it's ever been and she's got a purple aura around her... Is she the on I'm meant to be with? My train of thoughts came to a stop when she threw questions at me "Are you okay? Should- should I get you to a hospital? What happened? Do you know who you are?" I was still coughing and in a daze from what I had just come across. My soulmate? "Th-cough-thank yo-cough-you! I'm fine. My n-cough-cough-name is Aizawa. Im fine just fell off the cliff and hit my head causing me to pass out." I lied to her hoping she would buy it. She suddenly went silent staring at me, observing all my features. I then soon cleared my throat trying to take her out of her daze. Her face was flushed Where do you stay...uh..."

"Shouta. Shouta Aizawa. I had already told you this. And I live about two to three blocks away..." we spoke for a while and soon there was silence. I enjoyed talking to her. She was so calm yet energetic but a level I could handle. We were talking and just really soaked up in it we didn't notice we were slowly trying to get close to each other until we bumped shoulders. An electric shock went through my body and I knew that this is my soulmate! I looked at her only to see her looking to the side no longer standing where she was. Cute... we soon started laughing and just brushed off what happened.

~Time skip (arriving at the bar)~

Once we arrived at the bar after (Y/n) finding out I live four apartments away from her. We walk into the bar and soon (Y/n) is nearly attacked by a girl to which I grab (Y/n)'s wrist and pull her back into my chest.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

Kanna was about to pounce on me but before she could something grabbed my wrist and yanked my back and soon I hit something solid. When I opened my eyes I saw I was in Aizawa's arms against his chest. My face started getting really hot as I then quickly try jumping away. Why did that feel amazing... ugggg don't think like that now, you only met the guy... cheez. Trying to calm myself down I turn to Kanna who now has a smirk on her face and before she could utter a single word to embarrass me more I quickly greeted her "Heeeeyyyyyy Kanna! Sorry we're late, ran into trouble..." Kanna's smirk only grew wider "Oh~ what kind of trouble hmmmm~" My face started heating up once more. I turned around to face Aizawa excusing myself for just a few seconds pulling Kanna away to a safe distance where he can not hear us. But unknown to me he can.

"Kanna! Please don't embarres me, I only just met the guy!" Kanna started laughing again "I'm sorry-haha- I cant help it. I havent seen you with anybody before and the way you keep on blushing- hahahahaaaaa- priceless I tell you- wait... do you like... like him?" My face started turning red once more  "Like I said! I had only just met the guy... yet something is pulling me towards him... I have this urge to get... get close... to him..." Kanna started smiling like a mad person "I give you a week! Then your together! I mean he already looks like he's into you. I mean when I was going to 'attack you' with a hug he pulled you back and seemed to have been holding you protectively!" Kanna started laughing the more redder my face became.

"Okay okay! I won't do anything... for now" Kanna said this but I didn't hear the last part so I ask what she had said only for her to walk off and say "Have fun~" I stood there frozen in place just watching her back as she leaves. Great... she's gonna leave me alone...

~Time skip (two days after Meeting Aizawa)

You were currently getting ready for the 'date' Aizawa asked you on. He said he had something important he wanted to tell you and can no longer keep it from you. You were curious as to what it could be but you pushed your curiosity aside knowing you will soon find out. Once you made sure you have showered, brushed you hair and teeth, applied light make up and were satisfied with what you were wearing you grabbed you keys and purse and opened the door only to be greeted by Aizawa. But once he looked at you he froze causing you to blush. Damnit I hate getting so flustered so easily! "H-hey Aizawa! A-are you ready?" First I blush now in stuttering?! Just great! He nodded his head and stuck out his arm for me to take after locking the door.

The walk was quiet and my thoughts were consuming my mind. What if he asks me to be with him? I'm fine with it but it's been only two days after we met... what is it he needs to tell me? Where is he taking me? Whatever it is, it must be important, and I will stay by his side! I side glanced Aizawa only to see him looking at me with a small smile. That smile... "You're anxious to find out aren't you?" I nodded my head slightly. I let go of his arm a few minutes after we left the house. I was about to get lost in my thoughts again when I feel a hand get intertwined with mine. I looked down at my hand, heart pounding hard in my chest, seeing that my hand is connected to Aizawa's. I-I cant... handle this. My hurts... gonna... burst... "Are you okay?" He stopped walking looking at me with concern written all over his face.

"Y-yeah just... s-surprised is all..." he chuckled whole heartedly as we continued walking. We soon then came to a hill with a beautiful view of the sea and it's beautiful hue. I was about to turn around and ask him why we were here until this guy came out of no where and held a gun at my head and Aizawa was frozen in shock. "Everything you own now! GIVE IT TO ME!!!!!" I couldnt do anything but take of the bracelet I had and necklaces along with my purse and phone and started handing it to him only to get stopped by Aizawa whispering in my ear "dont do it... just stay calm I'll handle it..." I turned around and looked to where he was but he wasn't behind me so how did he whisper in my ear if he was at least 5 to 6 steps away from me. Next moment I knew I'm behind him and the guy who had a gun to my head was confused. I looked to Aizawa to see his eyes red but worry was all over his face. What's happening?

I hear a gunshot and I close my eyes screaming. But no sound of pain or any pain came. I slowly opened my eyes to see Aizawa with a bullet between his teeth "H-how did y-you do th-that man?!" Aizawa spat the bullet onto the floor and slowly started walking to the guy with a fun in his hand. His fangs... red eyes... pale skin... it can't be... Before I can think of anything more Aizawa is behind the guy and knocks him out. I was shocked. I couldn't speak. I couldn't breath. I couldn't think. I couldn't see straight. I was completely frozen. When I looked over to Aizawa he seemed to be worried looking at me "what... are you..." He looked at me as his eyes widened but he kept quiet "Aizawa how did you do that. Catch a freaking bullet with your teeth? Get me behind you so fast? Why do you have fangs? Why was your eyes red? What is going on? Tell me so I can understand. I'll try the best I can I promise!" I said rather calmly to which he started walking towards me.

Once he came close enough he started caressing my cheek "I... what I'm about to tell you now... might scare you and trust me i was planning on telling you before this happened. But now I'm not so sure... (Y/n) I like you and I'm just scared if I tell you, you would never talk to me or want to see me ever again..." I placed my hand on his hand that was caressing my cheek telling him I'm listening. "Mffff... (Y/n)... I... I'm a vampire..." I froze "but I promise you I will never hurt you. If I intended to do so I would've done it by now. I was born a vampire and... mffff... I understand that your afraid and probably want to run. I won't stop you... Us vampires... we get soulmates in which we can tell by their scent and the aura around them. Just before I met you I smelled Lilacs and gooseberries. Which is what I always imagined my soulmates scent to be like. When I woke up on that beach and you were there the scent was strong and there was a purple aura around you..." wait... aura... that day I saw a blue aura surrounding him... can humans see the aura too if their soulmate is a vampire? "And to answer your question you were thinking of now, yes humans can but as you've noticed it disappears after a while!"

My breath was caught in my throat and I looked down. Silence filled the air around us and I didn't dare look up, I was confused and scared... confused because I really do like him and want to be with him... yet my body wants to run. He was about to turn and walk away and without thinking I wrapped my arms around him. Hugging him tightly. He was frozen for a bit until he wrapped his arms around my waist. I feel like what he said is true. Maybe he wouldn't hurt me. Maybe he is talking the truth, I mean theres enough evidence. Don't know what suddenly got into me but the need of doing this took over my body "P-please stay! I-I believe you! And I trust you. I saw a blue aura around you that day. And to be honest when I'm with you I'm constantly having fun and my heart pounds like crazy. Even though it's only been two days... I really... like you..." Aizawa visibly relaxes and hugs me back tighter "I'm glad!" I was about to say something until there was clapping.

While still being in Aizawa's embrace I looked to where the clapping was coming from. When I saw who it is a started panicking. Did Kanna hear everything? "K-Kanna? What did you hear and how long were you standing there..." I was starting to worry. What if she heard what Aizawa said? "Dont worry (Y/n) I already knew! After all i really am a dragon..." Wait... what a dragon? "I sensed you were in danger so I came to your rescue but I guess Aizawa had it covered! Welp that's my queue I'll be leaving now! Byeeeee!" Kanna then turns into a white dragon and flies off. I turned my head to be looking at Aizawa. He was already looking at me then began stroking my hair "Thank you..." I was confused. "What for?"

"For accepting me for who I am..." I smiled and kissed his cheek while a blush greets both of our faces "Y-youre welcome!"
