13: Disciple Promotion Exam Final!
The crimson red sun hung high above the clear sky, the huge stage was noticeable even from high above as it was surrounded by sharp mountains.
It was like a cooling snake surrounding a nest.
Next to the stadium, the many outer-disciples who had failed previously had already been sent back by the elders, leaving only the ones who had passed the first stage, moving on to the second.
The many 25 or so disciples left all started walking up to the golden pillars.

The sound of explosive fists rang out as each disciple punched with all their might towards the golden pillar..
The three golden pillars shone with a bright light that slowly rose from the bottom of the pillar.
A golden glow enshrouding the golden pillars as they illuminated the stage.
Out of those 3 disciples only one was actually able to make it past the mark..
"You two fail, you passed, come here" the main elder said to the youth who had passed, not even glancing at the other two.
They could only leave the stage in silence.
More and more disciples walked up to their stage as they attacked the golden pillars, the number of outer disciples that became inner disciples was increasing, but those that failed at the last round were an even larger number.
The exam was extremely harsh, especially since there was previously over 100+ outer disciples here before.
So many of them being disqualified at the first stage.

A thunderous sound rang out in a split second, the air around Li Fan shaking slightly.
The golden light rose at an incredible speed and instantly passed the mark, only slowing down as it slowly reached the top.

Li fan released a sigh of relief as he raised his chest slightly.
"You pass as well, quickly come here" the main elder said, his words targeted at Li Fan, the other two disciples who had went at the same time as Li Fan had actually failed.
Li Fan was basically shocked, he didn't know how hard body refining was for cultivators who didn't have any body refining techniques.

Many disciples began to go up to complete the final stage, yet none of them were able to pass.
They were only able to watch enviously as the 5 new inner-disciples stood next to the main elder.
Inner-disciples enjoyed way better treatment than outer disciples, especially since they gained a lot more cultivation resources, didn't have to do tasks, and lived on mountain peaks filled with spiritual Qi and treasures of heaven and earth.
To these outer disciples, that place was equivalent to heaven.

"Here are your 5 inner disciple spatial rings, they have your new inner disciples robes and basic cultivation resources in them" the main elder smiled joyfully as he handed out the 5 spatial rings.
"I am late for a meeting, so another elder will take you guys to the inner-disciple mountain peaks, here he is" the main elder said before disappearing through the air.
It wasn't long before a magical flying boat appeared once again, and as Li Fan expected it was Elder Zhao.

"Way less outer-disciples passed this year, well what can we expect after raising the requirements" elder Zhao murmured under his breath as he sat calmly at the front of the magical flying boat.
The 5 new inner-disciples sitting nervously behind him.
"See, i knew you could pass" Li Fan smiled as he noticed Hong Tai who was extremely nervous as he sat on the boat.
"Hahaha, it looked extremely easy for you brother Fan" Hong Tai said as he scratched his head, he was mostly nervous because he didn't know what to expect.
After first joining the sect as an outer-disciple, he had been bullied on his first year by the older outer disciples.
"I'm sure they aren't that childish" Hong Tai thought as he shook his head.

Li Fan closed his eyes and took in the ferocious sounds of the wind as they furiously smacked against the formation surrounding the flying treasure.
