Qin Guanglin closed the door as he left to fulfill Qin's Mom's request to bring He Fang over. Qin's Mom sat in her seat for a while, her mind ticking, and then she hastened her pace of eating.
She still had to go out and buy something for her – probably something from the clinic. She'd have to check that out later.
He Fang's place was just a short walk away, and in a few minutes, Qin Guanglin had reached it, climbed the stairs, and walked into the apartment. He Fang was in the kitchen, wrapped in an apron, cutting vegetables and preparing herself a meal.
The vegetables were from what Qin Guanglin had bought in the morning; there were quite a few, so she'd only fried half at lunch and saved the rest for dinner.
"Let me do it; I didn't cook today," Qin Guanglin went over and hugged her, then took off her apron to wear it himself, taking over the knife to practice his knife skills.
