"He is not mad." The young prince smirked, "He wanted to burn his bridges even with the risk of lowering his celestial power level. He wanted to increase his battle strength and fight with us in the metropolitan examination!"

Ding Juncai looked worried and asked, "What can we do to beat him?"

He watched Ding Juncai walk towards the library, the young prince's facial expression turn cold and malicious.

The only reason that he saved Ding Juncai was to fight against Ding Hao!

But he must kick Xiao Cui out, as she was loyal to Ding Junjie. He found out that Xiao Cui was too scared and had already left.

As the servants left he remembered and said, "Is the meditation room ready to be used?"

There was a meditation room in the Ding house. One would not be interrupted once entering the room. Prior to Ding Hao's awakening, Ding Laosi's sons had used the room. Now Ding Hao was able to use it again. 

"It is ready. Allow me to take you there." One of the servants brought Ding Hao to the meditation room.

Just before Ding Hao entered the room, the young military officers from the City Lord's Residence arrived. He passed Ling Yunxiao's cultivation manual to him.

"Thank the lord for me. I really appreciate it." Although he had no use for the cultivation manual, he had to thank him regardless.

The young military officer said earnestly, "Gentleman Ding, the Lord wanted me to remind you again that the growth type celestial gene is unlike other superior level one celestial genes. You must focus on upgrading your realm and nourish your celestial gene. You should not be too tied up with trying to increase your battle strength. If you focus only on increasing battle strength, it will ruin things for you."

Ding Hao sent the young officer to the door politely and was about to enter the meditation room when Minion followed him.
