Day #2
I'm woken by sunlight directly reflecting from the window to my eyes.
And I gotta say, I couldn't have woken up in a more disturbing and blinding way.
It's sharp and bright enough to wake any victim no matter how heavy the sleep turns out to be. And the victim today seems to be me.
Trying to block it with the palm of my hand, I realise a hard surface was beneath me, meaning only one thing.
"Cole?" I whisper only to figure out that I'm talking to the hard floor of the living room. And on this hard floor, I find my hand already drowned in a bowl of weird smelling pudding.
Deciding it's better to clean the slimy looking abomination on my dress, I wonder why it's a strange shade of green.
I don't know why, but I have the feeling that I slept here for the night and what happened next only confirmed it.
"Cole's not here. Just a cold hard floor you spent the night on,"
It's kiko. The Asian girl with blue hair streaks.
In her hands are two cups of coffee and although she's blocks away from me, I can notice how she's analysing me with some sore and tired eyes.
"Oh you don't say," I try getting up but with the pointy heels I have on, stumbling back to my original position is the next thing I do.
That must have been one heck of a party cause now my head feels like it's about to explode and for some reason, I have no idea why and how in the world I got on the floor in the first place.
"Help me up will you?" I slowly raised my hand up for a while before she finally realized what I was requesting .
"Sorry I'll help you right away," Dropping the cups on a small glass table with a click, she pulls me upwards as I fall unto her tee shirt which reads in blue, 'Humans Begone.'
"You know, I have a similar shirt to yours, just that it said Ice cream is the way of life," I started to chuckle as the memories of me wearing it began to flood my mind.
"Yeah... I think you're still drunk but take care of yourself now, I'm gonna take shower. And if you see a retainer anywhere, it's mine," She mumbles the last one to herself, looking a bit like she's still sleeping.
Roaming my gaze around the living room, I'm struck at how much of a mess we made last night. And from the snore clearly audible from the rooms upstairs, no one but kiko and I are awake.
Guess it's up to me to start cleaning up.
I don't know why, but I have a feeling that I would end up doing the cleaning alone anyways. So why not start now?
Tearing a plastic bag open, I began to pick up all the beer cans I came across with which seemed to be littered everywhere. Some were on and in the couch cushions, most I came across on the floor, and even in my dad's study drawers. It started getting worse as I was able to find something that looked whitish and mussy all at the same time in a huge lamp.
Daring to sniff it, I find out a bit too late that it's drunken barf.
"Ugh, who does that?" Covering my nose, I throw the whole lamp while trying to forget that it kinda smelt like sausages mixed with alcohol and maple syrup.
$200 dollars to replace that.
'Well at least it was decent.' I thought as I was almost done packing all the cans.
The next thing I go straight to is adjusting the pillows. Turning the creamy fabrics over, I make a mental reminder to call our personal dry cleaner to take care of the new and unusual stains that are more than noticeable on the pillows.
Well aside from the weird stains, dirty floor and most likely drunken teenagers sleeping in my spare rooms, I'm so ready for any surprises my parents could have in store for me.
I'm so good at this that when my parents are back, it would be like nothing happened and no one came.
But sometimes whenever Raven brings it up, I try to imagine what dad's expression and next moves would be if suddenly they came weeks early. I believe he might understand Cole's presence here but the others, not so much.
I'm quick with the pillows although I have never really done hardcore cleaning before. And unto the last one, I felt something cold soaked to the back of it.
'Probably the cool air from the air conditioner' I thought since it was on throughout the night.
But I should have known better as my eyes catch the condom leaking it's way on the couch.
Gagging a little, I stumble on the trash bag, making a thin hole with my heel as vomit begins to seep out of it to the marbled floor.
Feeling light in the head again, I dart across the room, upstairs where my room was.
It must be the alcohol from last night. Wasn't supposed to take any but obviously I did the opposite.
"Pill? Where are my pills," I whisper, feeling the room spin as I try to balance myself, before finally ending at the art room where I usually keep them in.
Opening the door, I feel like the place is spinning as I rest my head on the door's surface, only to be greeted with a deep groan.
Pulling my head away from the wood, I feel my eyes bulge from their sockets.
I can see a figure on my bed, which looks startled by the way I closed the door.
"Who - who's there?" Rubbing his eyes like a little kid although they're beneath the same dark sleep covers, Louis adjusts himself on the bed and before I can spell my name, the only cover setting as a barrier drops from his lean body, as my eyes meet some tanned skin.
I didn't know why, but my legs feel like they aren't working anymore. In front of me, is some naked dude that I just met like a few hours ago and for some reason, it seemed like it wasn't bothering him as he still stared at me like he's trying to figure out where he's seen me before.
It's not like I haven't seen a male specimen before, but I haven't seen one this sudden before.
Moments passed but still no one moved as we held each other gazes.
I find it pretty hard to believe that although he just woke up from sleep, he still has a cover on his eyes.
Finally getting the words into my mouth, I speak. "I'm sorry, I didn't know this room was occupied," I say quickly, turning around faster than my body should have.
"Wait the door - " He yells a bit late as the door already comes in contact with my face, making the place spin for a while before I faintly see him rush towards me.

A/N: Hey guys....
So as you know this was a really short chapter and I've been thinking about it... Why not extend the number of chapters instead of words and that's what I'm doing, but after a while I think I'll be adding more words. After a while that is.
But here's an important question: What genre do you see this book in? Young adult because most of them are eighteen, or New adult because of the content?
Don't forget to vote, comment, share and follow ;)
