A few days later, someone actually came. He came from the sea.

I thought he would be an advanced level mage. But it seems like he's an expert level mage.

I made the werewolves retreat back to the island while leaving me alone here with the villagers.

"Village Chief, he's an expert level mage. And from how he got here, it seems like he's an earth mage. Can you kill him like how you killed other people here?" I asked the Village Chief.

"It might be hard. But I have to do it while fighting as far away as possible from you to not raise suspicion, right? Then it will be harder," the Village Chief said.

"Make it so that you put the sleeping drug on my food as well when you want to kill him. Even back then, it was not effective on me. The master level mages will see that and it will be normal if I don't leave the house at all," I said.

Soon after, the man entered the village. We acted surprised and started getting friendly to him.
