Awakening

— Rose's Point of View —

I woke up from my deep sleep. This time I can feel every part of me back to normal that I was able to push myself out of bed. I took a deep breath and examined the room when I saw a woman in white standing by the door.

The room was dark, and I can't see how wide the room is except there is a glow coming from the woman in white. She slowly walked towards me. How I wished I could move, that I could run, and scream my heart out when I felt the woman not even near me yet gave me cold feelings. I can feel that there was something deep within me, a familiar feeling of what was happening.

Unable to speak and move, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath the moment she held my hand and I saw my dream. A dream that I was so familiar of. As if it was a memory of mine that was erased, that I left behind.

I was growing up from an orphanage, I was adopted, by a man... but if that really happened, how come the father I know is different from the father that I saw in my dream. I saw myself in a party, where everything turned dark and I saw her...

The woman in black...

Things turned more brutal. One by one, memory-like scenes came flashing onto my mind which blew me away, that suddenly I woke up. Pushing someone who's resting onto my hand. The woman with the curly brunette hair.

She came into consciousness as well and did her best to calm me down. "Oh my flower... What happened, tell me what happened."

"I had the strangest dream."

Someone then came into a room. A young woman, probably my age holding a basket of fruits. "Hey, Rose. How are you feeling?" She went near me, I saw how worry burst into emotions when I turned to her eyes.

"The Doctor said she's still in shock after the accident that happened." The woman in brunette said.

"All I hope right now, is that she gets fine as soon as possible. I hope she goes back to normal before—" She was going to finish her sentence when I cut her off.

"Before what?" I asked out of curiosity.

She ignored my question and combed my hair with her hand, "recover my dear flower. I know you will recover fast, and on the moment you're fully recovered. I will tell you." She smiled at me and caressed my cheeks.

I took a deep breath and disregard what just happened in my dream. I though to myself that it was possibly because of the shock that the woman was talking about. Probably that was the cause of those nightmares.

My eyes then turned to the woman who just entered a minute ago, I then asked her, "I'm sorry to ask but. Who are you?"

She held my hand tight and wiped the tear that fell from her eye. "You still don't remember do you?" She faked a smile at me before speaking, "I'm Aexis. I'm your best friend, Rose."

She smiled at me so genuinely that I got lost of what I should say, and on how should I react. All I did was gave her a smile and nodded. "I'm sorry, I'm still healing I guess but, thank you."

She nodded and smiled at me once again before letting out a breathe. "Auntie, I'll go ahead for now. I just came by to bring the fruits I said yesterday."

'Auntie?'

She was about to stand when the two heard someone knocking on the door. "Come in," the woman said. Slowly then the door opened and it spit out a man wearing a white tuxedo. Holding a bouquet of white roses. His silky hair which covered one of his eyebrows looked so smooth.

His eyes, they were bloody red. Intriguing.

His broad shoulders, his pointy nose. He's undeniably handsome. Our eyes then meet and I saw how his smile sparked.

That enchanted moment ended when Aexis spoke, "uh excuse me, but who are you?" she asked and the man smiled at her.

"Apologies, lassies. Let me introduce myself. My name is Leviathan. Leviathan Vane."

— Leviathan's Point of View —

I opened the door. In shock, I think I saw the most beautiful woman I ever saw in my entire life. Her blue eyes, and her flashy eyelashes. Her thick eyebrows. Her blonde straight her which matched with her perfectly toned skin.

My eyes settled onto her lips, her cherry red lips. Arrowed like shape. I subtly gulped and looked at her.

"Uh excuse me, but who are you?" The young lady beside her asked me.

"Apologies, lassies. Let me introduce myself. My name is Leviathan. Leviathan Vane." I smiled at them and once again turned my gaze to her...

My mission.

I went near her and handed her a bouquet of Roses. She only gave me a smile and nodded. "You are such a handsome young man, have we met yet? Your face is quite familiar." The woman in brunette said.

My eyebrows met when I noticed the symbol of the woman's hand. That symbol is familiar to me, and I know what it meant. Although I know what it was, I need to shut up and once again.

Tiring as it is, but I do not have a choice but to pretend. I smiled her and shook my head, "I am sorry madam. But I haven't seen you yet, and probably I am not the one you are familiar with as well."

The woman nodded and faked a smile at me. "I see. Thank you, for the flowers. Is there a reason for your visit?" She asked me.

I shook my head and answered her question. "Ah yes. I saw her on the streets before her accident. I can't get her out of my head, so I tried searching for her, and luckily I did. So I came here when I found out what happened, to check how she is doing."

"A friend I see..." The woman said and I replied.

"A friend."
