Returning To Pet Life For Help

I remembered the way back to the suburbs-like place Jack lived in. It took a while to get there because I had to stay hidden. When I got there, I looked through a window, and I saw Tim with a gun to Jack's head. It was quite muffled, but I heard him say, "You better catch him this time, or I'll have to do it myself."

Tim left the house, and Jack sighed in relief. I looked through other windows, and I saw no sign of Cleo or her pups. I finally got to the back, and I saw a familiar red coat of fur lying on the ground. It was one of Cleo's pups, but he was in a cage. I couldn't climb into it because it had a roof, so I said, "Hey! Over here!" The dog perked his head up and wagged his tail.

I said, "Call Cleo!" But the dog tilted his head. I sighed and remembered that dogs only speak dog. Even when it comes to communicating with their hybrid friends. I decided to try and speak dog. I already got, "call" down, but I don't know about "your" or "mom". I thought about it, and I barked at the dog. He nodded and started howling.

Cleo came out of one of the two dog houses in the left corner and said, "What is it Leo?" Then she looked at me and gasped. "Rudy! I thought you were dead! Thank goodness you're alright.. you have to help us! Tim's gone mad!" I gave her a brief nod and unlocked the cage with my claws. She rushed out and hugged me saying, "I missed you so much!"

I hugged her back saying, "I need help. Jet is in trouble." She backed away and said, "No problem. I'll try to get Jack out here." She then opened the back door and barked at Leo. He ran inside and started barking like crazy. Then I heard Jack shout, "What!? How did you get in here!?" Leo ran outside, and Jack came running, but he stopped in surprise when he saw me.

"Wait... Rudy?" I nodded, and he said, "This... this has to be a miracle... I need you to go back to Tim!" I flattened my ears, got on all fours, and growled as loud as I could. "I'll never go back to that monster! He doesn't even know what his father's true intentions are!" Jack said, "What are you talking about!?"

I explained to him what Tim's father's true intention was, and I told him about the Breeding Facility and how Jet and I escaped it a few times. Jack and Cleo's faces were filled with horror. It seemed like they didn't believe a word I said, but I knew they believed it. Jack said, "There is a way to help Jet. I've searched up this disease before, and the internet said to make him throw up because it invades the stomach first, but he won't throw up if that happens."

I said, "Well I have to hurry then. How do I make him throw up though?" Jack rushed inside the house and Cleo said, "Oh no he can't be getting "that". It's the most disgusting and disturbing thing I've ever smelled." Jack came out with a bucket of foul-smelling sludge. I didn't even ask what was in it because that would surely make it worse.

Jack said, "Put this near his nose and don't put it near yours. This is even enough to even make a fly gag." He put a lid over the bucket, but the stench still lingered. I grabbed the bucket from him and said, "Thank you, Jack. I'll repay you for this soon." Jack laughed and said, "You're doing me a favor by getting rid of that for me. Now go on!"

I ran away from Jack's house and I returned to the rooftops. Luckily, I made it back to Molotov's alley without getting attacked. Maybe it was because of the sludge? Anyway, when I got to the alleyway, there were fewer cats, and Molotov, Ace, and Klaus were wearing masks. I asked them, "What's going on?"

Ace said, "Dad's feeling worse, and more cats got sick, so some of the males took the kittens and females to Sir Moon's alley. Ash, Birch, and Blossom are there too." I nodded and said, "Lend me your mask and go to your siblings. I'll make Jet better again." I couldn't see, but I knew Ace smiled. He gave me his mask and ran to Moon's alley.

I jumped down into the alley, avoiding all of the corpses. Sadly, there were a couple of beautiful kittens lying there with their bellies emptied, and their eyes rolled to the back of their heads. It reminded me of the kittens I lost, but I had to stay strong. I walked to Jet, and I opened the bucket. I heard Klaus gaging, and Molotov coughing, questioning the strange smell.

I put the bucket near Jet's face, and almost in an instant, he threw up. There were hints of food and bile, but what mostly came out was a light purple fluid. Jet instantly sat up and said, "That shit STINKS!"
