The writing does a good job of setting the atmosphere and tension but is let down by grammar. Pacing is pretty good, the story moves along well. Each individual chapter also doesn't feel too long.

4.8/5 Great work by author. The story is incredibly realistic and explores a genre I have not seen before. It's quite intriguing. He could use some work on writing grammar, but excellent overall :)

This story is unputdownable. It's fascinating, how Alexander is so obsessed with reading mystery/horror novels, and how he ends up buying that novel. My favorite part is when he has to open the book and use a certain substance with the fountain pen to open it, I thought that part was very creative and I could really imagine it and feel grossed out as I read through that part of opening the book. It's creepy and filled with horrific moments especially as Alexander sort of transmigrates, and that's what I call a good horror book if it gives off that vibe and you're able to really find the lines between fantasy and reality. Well done! I will only take off half a star for some writing quality problems, such as the wrong word choice, or small errors/typos.

"Nothing is scarier than reading a book that reflects your hidden ego, a hidden desire that disqualifies you as a human being." The prologue is giving me a goosebump! And the rest of chapters is as intriguing as the prologue! A rare gem among the book in webnovel, adds it to your library!

The set pace of the story and immersion is good, and the story concept is certainly not the mainstream and unique thus attracting readers right in. The only problem which I seem to find is the abrupt shift in the first-person and third-person narrative but that could be just my opinion may be fair to others. Keep it up Author, never stop dreaming.
